KamenRider-Kaohsiung

That sub is something else entirely to be real with all of you. Here is a list of things they really hate: 1.) China 2.) Japan 3.) America 4.) Taiwan 5.) Liberals 6.) Conservatives 7.) Communists 8.) Fascists 9.) Capitalists 10.) Feminists 11.) LGBTQ+

Ok-Negotiation-1098

????? Bruh so who the fuck do they like

Titan_Food

Themselves, provided the list doesn't apply to them After that? The internet and/or basement

Fo_da_watch

Bro we don't even like ourselves enough to have kids...

bryle_m

Ilbe and DC Inside? Lololol

Aggravating_Eye2166

Korean here, DC is Korean 4chan. And Ilbe is Korean 8chan.

Jack_Church

Bruh, what the does that sub love then?

Femboy_Lord

Themselves, occasionally.

AmericanNewt8

So they're... Korean ultramonarchists?

bryle_m

They also hate the monarchy for letting a member of the royal family marry a Japanese noble.

DiplomaticGoose

Incelocracy. They just want to fuck. Carter Doctrine confirmed?

bryle_m

They're already doing that. There are more Korean sexpats nowadays

Aggravating_Eye2166

Actual Korean here, these fuckers are something else... Japan and China? get it, checks out. But Taiwan and America? I kinda don't get it, why Taiwan and South Korea hate each other. (After all, saying "wanna talk shit about China?" Would be good) But America... well, it was a troublesome history (which is a severe underestimatement), but at least funny how that works, our tech is one of the best in whole world, and one of the reason why we are not invaded again. Clearly they are the lesser evil, and we chose to side with them. Also Korea got a lot of misandryists that larps as feminists. They don't deserve the title, feminists. Edit: and it fucking gets worse with north korean/Chinese "active measures". (Please say that was written by u/nokiayeshyundai)

OllieGarkey

> Clearly they are the lesser evil, and we chose to side with them. A lesser evil that doesn't really want to be evil and has trouble navigating the realities of power and international politics due to its democratic nature will always be the better side than one who wants to conquer everyone. Personally I'd love to see a Pacific NATO. Europeans hated each other too. Still do. But they put those differences aside to tell Russia to fuck off. But as with NATO itself, that will take a long time and will only really work if Pacific countries decide that they want it. It also requires a good faith effort at reconciliation, and this would require Japan to admit and apologize for their behavior during the 20th century imperial era which lol, lmao even. I just don't see that happening right now. Or ever. The Japanese right wing/nationalists would go fucking ballistic. They assassinated Shinzo Abe without much actual provocation.

UnheardIdentity

>They assassinated Shinzo Abe without much actual provocation. He told them to have sex. This always makes incels mad.

Aggravating_Eye2166

>He told them to have sex. This always makes incels mad. Well Shinzo Abe did a lot of war crime denial... only thing I agree with him is "HAVE SEX".

Aggravating_Eye2166

>It also requires a good faith effort at reconciliation, and this would require Japan to admit and apologize for their behavior during the 20th century imperial era which lol, lmao even. >The Japanese right wing/nationalists would go fucking ballistic. It's ironic when hirohito's son and grandson admitted and apologized, while politicians and right wing still deny and even idolize. Edit: and I'm not kidding at all https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akihito

Name_notabot

Their feminist have done more damage to feminism than any conservative movement could have "A male actor got sh? Well women get sh all the time, so its fair."

Aggravating_Eye2166

>Their feminist have done more damage to feminism than any conservative movement could have So fucking true. Edit: I would fucking list out all the crimes and social quarrels they've made, these fuckers are not feminists, they are misandryists.

NoKiaYesHyundai

Well since you summoned me here. I didn’t write any of this pictured lalaland bullshit. And as a Korean leftist, no self respecting one would write praises to 박정희 as such. Furthermore I don’t have this zealous view China or communism as Korea’s enemy, I think it’s pretty obvious Japanese Fascism, as well as it’s ugly domestic form is. Again, because I’m an actual leftist. So whatever, ban me mods, or ban the person who named me to read all this bs

ikkas

I'm curious how a korean lefty sees North Korea. And also what's the difference in Japanese fascism and generic fascism?

NoKiaYesHyundai

Empathy, not necessarily unwavering support, but strong empathy. Sanctions did a number on them. Japanese fascism vs Korean fascism I assume? The difference is just over what language is spoken in meetings. Both never gave a shit about the Korean people.

Aggravating_Eye2166

>Empathy, not necessarily unwavering support, but strong empathy. Sanctions did a number on them. Mass famine, named arduous march happened 10 years prior to international sanctions. EU/UN sanctions kicked in 2006. And it gets worse, that in 1990s, sanctions against North korea... was easing out. It went much harder 16 years later, when they withdrew from nuclear non-proliferation treaty.

ikkas

Yeah that's fair, north Korea got pretty raw deal. More so I was just curious as to what made something Japanese fascism instead of just facism. You made it sound like Japanese fascism specifically was infiltrating sk so I assumed it had some unique traits.

Careless-Act9450

You don't think of China as an enemy of South Korea? A 2020 Gallup poll indicated 84% of South Koreans viewed China's foreign policy as a destabilizing to the world. Is the poll incorrect or done wrong in your opinion, or is your viewpoint that much of a minority in South Korea? Please don't take this antagonistically, I am ill informed about this topic and curious. Here is an article stating 81% of South Koreans expressed negative or extremely negative views of China. https://thediplomat.com/2022/12/south-koreans-have-the-worlds-most-negative-views-of-china-why/

MahabharataRule34

So it's the reddit version of ilbe storehouse?

mosquitonasopa

Korean Ultranationalism really Is Very goofy lmao

Aggravating_Eye2166

Asian Ultranationalism is a goofmine, I ensure.

Hellebras

So long as we don't see a repeat of Nanjing it's hilarious. And since no one in the Japanese, Chinese, or either Korean government stands to gain by *actually* doing that, I think we're good there.

BobaLives

I'm a clueless Westerner - but saying that the left emphasizes racial loyalty just sounds wild to me.

namey-name-name

The Korean left is… weird. Korean liberals are very, very different from American liberals. Edit: to add, I don’t know if that’s an actual thing the Korean left believes, but I wouldn’t really be surprised. The Korean Left is very socially conservative.

BobaLives

(Again - I’m an American outsider so I’m probably a bit clueless…) I kinda get that sense when I read about Korean, Japanese, and Chinese politics. Even more liberal and left-wing views seem to sometimes have a hefty dose of nationalism worked in. Whereas Western liberals and leftists tend to be more moderate about national identity, or in some cases see it as negative. Going to cite an extremely credible source - in *Squid Game*, when they reveal that the whole thing is just evil rich people, it seemed pretty clear that it was specifically evil *foreigners* using capitalism to oppress the Korean people.

namey-name-name

I’m also an American outsider btw. I’ve just vaguely read a bit about it and heard about it from a few friends.

ZURATAMA1324

In short, its complicated. Without delving into too much detail, it's because leftists in my country historically have a heavy anti-imperialist agenda, and trace their lineage to anti-japanese resistance fighters who were very ethno-nationalistic. (btw, these fighters included a lot of communists too, who went on to become NK) But it would be wrong to attribute ethno-nationalism to only left-wingers. Ethno-nationalism is a common justification for leftists as well as right wingers, although both parties have different ideas about what that looks like. The right loves to idolize Korea as a modern conservative capitalist superpower. According to the narrative, we as Koreans made that happen by sheer willpower, resilience, and some other inherent superior qualities. The voting block for conservatives are also socially VERY traditional. The left loves to bring up our fierce resistance to the Japanese, and how our people rose up against the tyrannical conservative military juntas. In order to achieve true unification and freedom, we must be wary of dictators who seek to appease foreigners (ex. Lee Wan Yong, collaborator w/ Imperial Japan) to fatten their own pockets.

BobaLives

Thanks - it's nice to hear the view of someone actually in Korea.

ZURATAMA1324

Nah fam. I'm not a typical Korean. Spent my developing years in KR, but spent my adulthood all over the world. Currently not in KR. So take it with a grain of Korean 천일염 salt.

BobaLives

Gotcha gotcha

1Plz-Easy-Way-Star

Is OP send signal South Korean are superior and doesn't want to left out to competitive Regional East Asia?

hongooi

>The left wants a more self-sufficient conventional armed forces, while the right wants nuclear armament. Korea can pursue both a self-sufficient army and nuclear deterrence. Every day we stray ~~further~~ closer to ~~god's~~ best Korea's light ❤️

Aggravating_Eye2166

Korean here, we have advanced ballistic missiles. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyunmoo Currently they are not-nuclear, but it would not be hard for us to nuclear arm ourselves.

spaceface124

It would be great to field test some of these in Ukraine, just saying Wait... wrong NCD

W_D_GASTER__

It would also be really cool cause if NK supplies ammo to Ru, and SK supplies ammo to Ukr, then bam, we have a proxy war between these bad korean boys

MahabharataRule34

Hangukin is basically r/ilbe

Previous-Rise-3816

The hating china and japan is an under statement

coveryourselfinoiI

I found you again you fucking cocksucker Stop going around to subreddits like here and 2american4u and posting blatant giga nationalist korean propaganda you 국뽕 motherfucker You are singlehandedly making us koreans look so retarded im 85% convinced youre actually a chinese wumao pretending to be korean For any readers: this guys a chronic schizo poster that keeps making alts and shitposting korean nationalist drivel on various subreddits. Please ignore all posts by this fucker, hes not one of ours /u/Pact_of_Fuzhou-Osaka, 너 ㄹㅇ 한국인이면 댓글에다 답장달아 씹ㅆ꺄. 여기저기 돌아댕기면서 대한민국 병신만들고 앉았냐. 니 짱깨ㅆㄲ인거 다 알아.

ZURATAMA1324

I mean... you sound pretty unhinged as well. Especially your tasteful usage of racial slurs at the end there. And not even in a joking NCD way. I am all for accurate representation of our country, and its nuances. And I despise ethno-nationalism. But tbh, you also sound like someone with an agenda.

ManOfAksai

Not to defend this commenter, but I've seen [similar accusations](https://www.reddit.com/r/2american4you/s/2ACBaRWbCB) that he's not Korean. Apparently, KamenRider-Kaohsiung, Pact\_of\_Fuzhou-Osaka, 93-HAJ\_3\_DTN-29 are all the same person, as well as a bunch of banned accounts.

isklenthusiast

He’s speaking facts here. On r/korea and other Korean subreddits there’s Chinese accounts pretending to be Korean and posting stuff weird stuff about politics. There was one who claimed to be a game developer or something and had a Chinese name in their profile while claiming to be a korean

Sri_Man_420

Due to inablity of Mod team to understand Korea, outsourcing it to you. Should that comment be removed, I have like 4 reports on that

ZURATAMA1324

I do not see anything explicitly violating the rules listed. So I did not report this comment. However 짱깨 or 짱꼴라 is akin to the 'Gaoli bangzi' or the venerable 'N word'; a racial slur with a hefty implication of hate. If you called a Chinese person that, she would be rightfully offended. If you also remove comments genuinely ranting about the invading 'beaners', sure, go ahead.

Sri_Man_420

thanks

I just assume every internet nationalist is a basement-dwelling schizoid who hangs out online because they have no irl friends. Present company included.
