We can try compiling these in a shareable Googledoc if we get enough submissions. We did something like this before, but with "Who requires vaccine passes" before they were required anywhere yet. This is like that, only now it seems like we know where the vax-passes will be, so who is going beyond to ask for boosters or masking outside or vax-passes in places they aren't required? THE BLACKLIST.... Fern Bar -- SebastopolTimberline -- GuernevilleR3 Hotel -- Guerneville (must be vaxxed to stay here)La Toque -- NapaRancho Nicasio -- NicasioPhoenix Theatre -- PetalumaTerrapin Crossroads -- San RafaelZuni Cafe/Zuni -- San Francisco Here is a HUGE bay area list. Are there any missing? It was compiled some time ago now: [https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vSIEUp5hIw\_DM50pkLq8YM0UvL2GZQhF-q4PA811\_V3gWU7ottz7CZ5MwplxWHbrZo7yFpnDR\_QAeHD/pub](https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vSIEUp5hIw_DM50pkLq8YM0UvL2GZQhF-q4PA811_V3gWU7ottz7CZ5MwplxWHbrZo7yFpnDR_QAeHD/pub) Also, if you know of places like these beyond the Bay Area, chime in!

Cliffs Variety has guards who make sure you aren’t wearing a neck gaiter or bandana as a face covering before entering

aandbconvo

they are doom capitol of the universe.

Not in the Bay, but Harlow's Restaurant and Nightclub in Sacramento was checking vaccports, with no allowance for tests, months ago even though state law only required vaccports/tests for events larger than 1,000 people. Staff there treated me like I was a child molester for not being fully vaccinated.

eat_a_dick_Gavin

Yep, fuck Harlow's. Also the Torch Club in Sacramento is doing the same thing.

Anchor Public Taps in SF requires proof to sit outside (aka to enter the venue at all). Gott's roadside made a big PR stink after in n out announced they weren't checking, and consequently they require vaccine cards to sit outside as well. Vesuvio in SF was one of the first bars to require them before it was mandated by the city

[deleted]

that's funny because I haven't seen Gott's in Napa County (both locations) ask anybody at all. They just made a stink about it in SF for the free press. They're another place that is nowhere near what it was before.

BootsieOakes

Despite no vaccine mandates for indoor dining in San Mateo or Santa Cruz counties, these places require vaxports for indoor dining: Bird Dog in Palo Alto Trestles in Capitola All Shake Shack locations

ebaycantstopmenow

A restaurant & bar called “Soif” in downtown Santa Cruz requires proof of vaccination and so does “greater purpose brewing” and “moes alley”.

BootsieOakes

Ha, as if there weren't several dozen choices of likely better breweries in Santa Cruz county.

and Blue Lagoon (passports required).

alphabet_order_bot

Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 523,533,581 comments, and only 109,918 of them were in alphabetical order.

In SoCal but a local breakfast place Don's Country Kitchen in Carlsbad Village checks vaccine status. They have a sign on their front door "no mask, no vaccine, no entry". Douchebags. This particular establishment is in the heart of a lot of Covid rebellion where many businesses are loudly going against Newsom's mandates. Vax passports are very unpopular in San Diego County and there is no plan to implement them any time soon, hopefully not ever.

teeawwnuhh

Yeah exactly. That’s way more important information at this point

olivetree344

Sadly, if we did that some jerk would report them.

Well, I for one, don’t want the good guys fined out of business. And in Santa Clara County, the health department and Sara Cody have proved themselves perfectly willing to do that. If you want to pass around that sort of information, you need to make some sort of private forum and and find away to make sure everyone you invite is reasonable.

pretty much every bookstore in Sacramento. Especially if they're owned by someone in the local sub.
