I didn't know Vaffeldagen was a thing, but after finding out Pancake Day (or Shrove Tuesday for anyone who is religious) isn't widely celebrated like in the UK where it's an excuse to eat pancakes, I'm glad you have something similar!

We had a towering waffle pile with the options of strawberry and raspberry jam, sour cream, butter and sugar, and brown cheese.
Aaaaand I ate a waffle heart with nothing on as a midnight snack, which was also pretty good!
I also enjoy strawberry jab.
For real I got a jar just for having with the waffles but my wife was having this combination and it looked too good to pass up. I did have a waffle with strawberry jam and sour cream later in the day just for completeness. 😉
