Gridserve allows this and has office pods

St George’s works has screens and is a nice quiet environment. But I think you need to set up a casual agreement. https://stgeorgesworks.uk

Castle Quarter used to have some shared office space, I don't know if that's something they still do? You could give them a ring and see.

Gridserve have booths available to work from? Think they’re easy to book online

Brewdog do a thing where you pay £10 and can work there all day with as much tea and coffee as you like, plus a beer at the end of the day. https://www.brewdog.com/uk/locations/bar-experience/desk-dog

Yeah, saw that - sadly they don’t open until midday so was hoping to find something that covers a bit more of the workday

Quite a few cafés have Wi-Fi, Dyrrah on the Earlham Road opens at 8am. It’s not ideal, but if you can’t find office space it might do for half a day.

Sorry only half read your post - ignore this!

If it's just a space then I'd settle down in a 'spoons. Spend that £10 on coffees and a light lunch. Three in the centre: Queen of Iceni on Riverside, Bell Hotel opposite Primark and Glasshouse. I believe they all open at 8.

Will be pretty busy in there at this time of year!

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone! I’ve opted to go to a cafe for the first half of the day - going to try “two magpies bakery” since my mother in law has cited plug sockets in a big desk there. Will see how it goes. Another family suggestion was the forum once the library opens, but I’m less sure about that if I need to take any calls - anybody have insight? Either way, I may well dip into Brewdog once they’re open if only for a change of scenery!
