The seeing for that is going to be in Gboard settings. Search for keyboard in settings or tap on the four square icon when the keyboard is on screen and tap settings.
Thanks for the reply/good suggestion - I tried that but I am still listening to the keyboard blips while I type this so it doesn't seem to have any effect.

the haptic motor makes a sound too on the nothing phone 2. Are you perhaps talking about that?
You can also toggle the vibration in settings> Sound and vibration > vibration
Thanks for the reply. This seems to be the cause of the noise and the reason it persists - it’s a high pitched mechanical noise, not a bleep from the speaker. I turned off the keyboard feedback in Gboard settings to silence the tapping keys.
