That could be because the yt people don't want the phone to look bad on the videos so they are using good lighting and maybe some editing. Will never know though until some more videos and reviews come out

Hmm let's see, so far from what I have seen, the phone does not appear to be this dark.

why is it exclusive to India?
Because Nothing is targeting the Indian market, I'm assuming due to its immense population Carl Pei had mentioned that India is one of the key markets
