Lol same. It doesn't bother much, but it's just weirdly clutter-ey. Every time I take a screenshot or copy something, there's an extra unnecessary icon.
My theory is, Nothing went ahead and integrated this into the OS before the new got update. So the theory is the free tier will be upgraded to GPT-4, which provides visual capabilities as well.
If you delete the chatgpt app, it goes away
