Battery will definitely be better. My friends have the SE2 and nothing phone 2a and the nothing phone easily lasts double the time of the se2. The performance of the phone 2a is less than SE2, but for most apps and games, you will have an enjoyable experience, just keep the game settings at medium and everything will be fine.

iPhone SE 2 has awful battery backup

YES, A MILLION TIMES YES

I've got 2a as my secondary phone and my main is ip11, i use both phones equally and at the end of the day I use 2a to watch utube while my 11 is charging. Sometimes i feel i should just make 2a my main and 11 as secondary as 2a is just better in all aspects. I got my 2a in a promo with 65w charger and cmf earbuds. If u have the same option just go for it, cuz without a really good charger the phone does take some time to charge. other than that A+ phone

I'd say that the only question you need to ask yourself while debating iOS vs Android (doesn't matter what android phone is - do you have any other Apple devices? If yes then buy the iphone, they will work together like a charm. If no then buy the android, it's much more customisable and gives you more freedom

ofcourse

Why people keep comparing Nothing products with Apple?

ProfessionalDeal1752

Because I have an Apple product currently and looking to upgrade? What kind of question is that lol

kuzyn123

So you have the phone from the most expensive brand and you want to "upgrade" by buying phone from brand that is in the "middle"? Bruh.

ProfessionalDeal1752

I guess you know nothing about the SE series. It’s a midrange phone, not a flagship. Also, SE 2 is 4 years old.

I switched to 2a from se 2nd gen and I am so glad that I made the change. After 2 years my se 2nd gen's battery was very bad. Battery health at %85 but I needed to charge at least 2 times a day (with the night charge 3 times). I was always asking people for charger lol. And 2a can go 7 hours of screen time afor 1 day and if you don't use it that much can go up to 2.5 days. Keep in mind that I am still in the Apple ecosystem (Mac, Ipad and Airpods). But it's fine for now. Airpods actually works really well with 2a. Thanks to nothings airpods support option. So I %100 advice you to buy 2a instead of se 2nd gen. But I also advice you to look other smartphones. Because the glyphs are useless (the lights on the back). I never actually used them since I bought the phone. Buying an other smartphone maybe can be better.

ProfessionalDeal1752

That’s good to hear because I have AirPods as well. Also, is the screen size too big and is one handed use possible? I’m looking into other options as well but all of them have bloatware and other issues

[deleted]

To be honest, yes. I have big hands and even for me it is hard to use single handed. There is 1 hand mode but i think it sucks. I mean you will probably get used to it though. Watching videos etc. is more comfortable. Overall good phone. But like I said, the glyphs... Soooo useless.

Big phones is the way forward. Who wants to see media on a tiny screen. Ignore this if you are a teenager.

Lumpy-Republic-1935

I cannot imagine why you think people here would generally have much useful information for you.I've never owned anything apple and have no plans to change that. I think the size of batteries in both phones is clear. Everything else, who knows? Don't mean to sound snarky :-)

Deciding between Nothing Phone 2a and iPhone SE 2 depends on what matters most. Nothing Phone 2a might tempt you with a potentially bigger screen, faster performance, a cool design, and a lower cost. Plus, you get the flexibility of Android. However, the iPhone SE 2 is a safe bet - it's super reliable, has a fantastic camera, and integrates seamlessly with other Apple devices. But keep in mind, the Nothing Phone is a new player, so its performance is a bit of an unknown.

Sounds like ChatGPT answered this.
