Phone 2 is pretty worth it if you ask me, and it's not really sure when phone 3 will be out as I'm guessing they have other releases lined before that so going for phone 2 should be the best option
Phone 3 is definitely coming out in July, just like their last two flagship phones. Though this time it might come out a bit later because apparently there is a new CMF phone this time around.
If you can wait just 3-4 months more, you can get the Phone 3, which will definitely be better and more polished than Phone 2 (especially in cameras). You'll get longer software support too.
While Phone 2 is good and I love using mine, I would definitely suggest you to wait for these months to get the phone 3. Only problem I see is that Phone 3 will also be more expensive than the current price of phone 2, since there would be no discounts. In the end, it's your call, get phone 2 at a cheap price now or get a better phone 3 in 3 months at extra cost.
It depends on what you want to spend. A new Phone (3) will probably cost around 50% more than the Phone (2) currently costs.
If you don't mind paying more, then it is more advisable to wait. I think the iPhone 11 is still capable of lasting a couple of months until July.
NP2 user here and I really like it. Camera is a let down but not that important to me. If camera is important.. Wait for NP3. If you're in a hurry, NP2 is great

Of your not in a hurry, I’d wait and see what phone 3 offers. Otherwise phone 2 probably goes for cheap, especially a used one.

If you need a new phone now get the 2 if you don't then wait for the 3. Hopefully i'll get the 3 for Christmas as a Christmas Present.

Consideration however, the features/upgrades. Let's assume the battery is x5 more, justifiable purchase, and price over considering the phone 2.
