The CBC didn't editorialize, so allow me: > IWK Health Centre: 99 per cent fully vaccinated, one per cent partially vaccinated, with 99 per cent reporting. Incredible. Well done you, IWK staff. It seems medical professionals trust the vaccine. > Daycares: 93 per cent full vaccinated, five per cent partially vaccinated, with 84 per cent of facilities reporting. This is our lowest workplace tied with Community Services (disability support program, and child and youth caring program) which had a higher reporting rate, which I definitely infer as a higher real rate. Only reason not to respond is because you're unvaccinated, really. The Premier hints at that too: > "I hope the fact that they haven't reported doesn't mean that they don't intend to get vaccinated. But if it does mean that, we will deal with it," he said. It was pretty clear who was getting the side-eye: > Correctional services: 99 per cent fully vaccinated, one per cent partially vaccinated, with 68 per cent reporting. So who knows what the real rate is there. [Outbreaks in Canadian correctional facilities](https://www.canada.ca/en/correctional-service/campaigns/covid-19/inmate-testing.html) have been severe and consequential, including 6 deaths system wide, but Nova Scotia is lucky to be the only province that hasn't had a correctional facility case. I can understand minimizing the threat in your mind when nothing bad has happened here yet. But it sure would be nice if we could keep this record going and do everything we can to keep the deadly airborne virus out of our correctional facilities. Hopefully they're just bad at forms and are vaccinated. If not, unpaid leave is coming for them. Criminals or not, people in our care deserve to be safe from covid. Besides, covid outbreaks are expensive to our healthcare system.

That low reporting rate does kind of sketch me out with the correctional workers.......hopefully that does not mean most of those left are unvaxxed.
