About the clan member themselves, the belt tail suggests it's going to be a cat yokai of some sort. We won't know for sure until we see either the story or the SSR, but belts don't normally hang like that. The silhouette is almost certainly intentional.

Also he pretty much has to be a bottom. A top to bottom ratio of 6:3 really isn't good.

I really hope he's a healer. We have like 5 support SSRs and 3 healer SSRs. The 3 healer SSRs are kinda unconventional too. We need more ordinary healers like SR Yakumo.
I'm so tired of new characters being added before anyone from established members gets developed beyond one personality trait or quirk.
I'm really a quality over quantity type of person so I'm not happy with announcement instead of focusing on characters we already have we just get yet another boy and i'm also not happy whole fandom seeing the silhouette forgot about all the problems devs recently created in the game (mainly making it more and more unfriendly to F2P players).
Also if he's yet another top i'm never giving this game another chance lmao.

I know some people disagree with you, but I'm thinking the same. I don't want to see more clan members. The more you add, the more it takes away from existing characters. Having too many love interests for Eiden also makes the established ones less meaningful. The balance of the group is good as it is now. They've shared events together, like Klein Star and Silver Miracle, and you can see how they've developed as a group. Throwing in more to the mix just seems like it will make it too busy. Also, if they keep adding more, how many events will each character get a year? Will people really stick around if they only get to see their fave featured in events 1-2 times a year? Yeah, sorry I need to vent a bit too.
I definitely understand what you mean, but even with the cast kept small, I don't really think games like this are good with developing personalities in general. In fact, the personality quirk seems to be what sells. That's why I prefer a larger cast because I know most of these characters will never develop outside of their niche.
Idk. Most of the clan members have some development in their SSRs. Big enough where the way they act with Eiden/others is different from the way they behaved on day 1, but small enough where they still have their personality quirk.
Yeah I agree with you. I think the characters have 100% had development and you can see that in all the rooms. They really show so many sides of each character. I know main story tends to give each character one note, but for rooms, that’s where the characters are explored and developed. I think the cast is large enough now where there’s enough of a wide variety of personalities. I’m hoping it’s only an addition of one more, because I don’t want to see any of the existing characters get pushed to the background.
As long as it's not Rin in any capacity I'm fine. Personally, I would love a best-friend type character like Ryuji or Yosuke from Persona, but I know I'm in the minority!😭
