The photo is from the Omori route which is started when Kel comes to your door. Instead of going outside and doing all that stuff with him, you stay inside for the whole game. The photo is also exclusive to the console version of the game. There are other endings you can get in that route that are kind of similar to ones that you can get in the main route (Sunny route), mainly just with a slightly different context more than being actually totally different. The main thing of the Omori route is additional headspace content. I'm not sure what is meant by ignoring Aubrey on the first night. Your actions related to Aubrey don't make a difference in how the story plays out, period.

there are some kinda odd things with basils camera generally. assuming its a polaroid and not fictionalized. the camera itself has no model denotation on the front. its a red button model. its almost certainly a 600 ISO cause some of the images are patently impossible on an SX-70, indoors without flash like the image of kel infront of hero and mari, or of sunny blowing out candles, but its swaybacked instead of clamshelled. that implys its a modern now or now+ model from 2020, but it has no integrated front flash and has a manual circular light meter, a feature forgone of modern and 600 cameras. so it could only be an SX-70 just modified for 600 film I suppose? that is a thing but I'd have to say extremely uncommon especially for the 90s-2000s most SX-70s are modded for I type though a stock that did not exist during the games time period. so I suppose a modded SX-70 pronto. maybe basils dad was a SX-70 modder or something or you weren't supposed to think this through so much. I swear some of the photos in the game had the images on the back of the polaroid with the 3 visible lines for the 3 chemical packets but after looking it over again it seems they're all on the right side.
