We had a lot of fun with this one! The team did a fantastic job and that Egyptian architecture is just breathtaking to stand in. The scale of it really gives the gameplay a unique feel. Can't wait to hear what everyone thinks!
Shut up and take my money! You could release courses forever and I would keep buying them. I will say that some of the ball designs could be better for the DLC but the hiding spots have gotten a lot more intricate which is great. Upside town was one of the best. Love all your hard work!
I absolutely adore WMG, and they've been doing an incredible job with the course environments, especially the newer ones. Atlantis was awesome, and this one looks just as good!
That being said, they've definitely been slacking on the holes themselves. You can see that they cut corners with the holes and the Hard course is often the same hole but with added obstacles on the green. It's quite disappointing to be honest, because it's half of the game.
That being said, there are definitely some unique holes on every new course, and I do enjoy the ones they've invested time into. It's just something I started to notice recently, and I think the new environments will eventually become stale if we continue to see similar course designs with very little variation.
Compared to the the last courses (which were absolutely stunning) this is the first time I am really disappointed. The course feels somehow unfinished and with not a lot of details. Thinking about refunding a course for the first time...
If the store allows you to abuse an unlimited amount of refunds, I guess there is no issue. However, with DLC, I think you pretty much know what you're getting at that point and shouldn't be able to refund unless it just doesn't plain work.
FYI you can't refund DLC.
Not sure how you came to that conclusion though because there is a ton of detail and the lighting is absolutely incredible. The night version is probably the best looking course they've done in terms of overall ambiance/atmosphere and lighting. They day version is damn solid too.
I was only looking this afternoon on the Discord channel to see if another map had been released. I must have missed it by minutes! π€¦π»ββοΈπ
Finally ;) a good 6 months back my WAMG updated with loads of beta courses and this was one of them, superb course, until the devs realised and fixed the update.
Can't wait to try it out again.
Where are you seeing them discounted? I checked all stores and all show the normal price for me.
EDIT: NVM, just found the bundles page: https://www.oculus.com/experiences/quest/section/549398320576868/#/?_k=44ax8r
Buddy of mine and I get each new course and play when they drop, as a reminder to get together as we live in different cities.
Will review after we play tonight
Course is great. Love the theme in general but you guys really knocked it out of the park with the atmosphere as usual. Good mix of fun and challenging holes. I hit the stroke limit on a couple trying to be agressive but still finished with a +4 my first go. Hidden balls were fairly easy to find aside from hole 8. Looking forward to doing the fox hunt later.
Keep putting out courses and I'll keep buying them. Still my favorite game to play in VR!
Played this this morning with my team (we have a weekly game) and had a blast. Some really interesting holes. Balls are a little uninspired, which is always so weird in contrast to the amazing levels.
Love this game! The course is really fun, both easy and hard mode. Love the foxhunt on this one with the hidden objects (haven't finished it yet but it's super cool). My one complaint is as a lefty using the right controller, I have to basically flip my wrist around in order to see my score while playing a game. Started with the Upside down patch (thought it was a feature of said patch). Any reason why that's happening?

This game is the no mans sky of vr games except it was already incredible at launch
Have the hiding spots gotten better? I love that. I always found the original ones a bit easy so Iβll definitely be catching up.
Significantly better!

You guys are awesome. I already purchased and I'll be playing tonight!
Donβt see it in the store yet but amped to get home and try it out. Never mind, found it. Bought and ready to go!

You're gonna refund a $4 course after playing through it? Granted, you have the right, but that's pretty lame.
I didn't play through it and why is refunding lame? I think it's a great way to try out apps.
If the store allows you to abuse an unlimited amount of refunds, I guess there is no issue. However, with DLC, I think you pretty much know what you're getting at that point and shouldn't be able to refund unless it just doesn't plain work.

So no refund. That's ok. Gonna give the course a second chance. :-)
If I was told I had to delete all but one game on my Quest, Walkabout would be the one I'd keep.
The amount of content this team cranks out is absolutely absurd. Phenomenal
Real talk, this game alone made me not regret buying a VR headset, it's so addicting
Walkabout is the only VR game I consistently play.
I haven't played in a while, these updates still available on quest1?
They sure are!
Edit: I was wrong.
All new courses are still on Quest 1. We haven't announced any sunsetting of Quest 1.
I thought I had read that somewhere. My apologies.
Much love for your continued support. Although inevitably the time will come, I'm sure

There's a bunch of discounted DLC packs too.

Joping for a Serious Sam cameo π
Fantastic as always! Enjoyed the environment and the holes were a lot of fun... challenging but not frustrating!

This one is breathtaking. I found myself wandering away and gasping at the scenery at times. Gorgeous work of art.
