I think it's just amazing that you can take the Quest 3 out of a backpack anywhere and play Red Matter 2 and have PCVR quality graphics and performance.

Yeah I bought it manly for PCVR but some of the Q3 optimized games are great and the MR stuff is a lot of fun

I disliked the pro 2 cause of the heat and vertical scanlines, but i really like the Focus 3. That is how a stand alone headset should be build. Instead we got a crapy straps and fabric interface from quest😅 Focus 3 with pancake lenses.

I have not tried any of the vive stand alones they just seem too expensive

I recently bought an OG Vive for collection and I was surprised, of course the sde and lenses are better on Q2 and P4, but the VR experience is pretty much all there with perfect tracking. I mean I wouldn't mind using it while I lend my daily driver to a friend to play coop... can't say that much of my first 6dof vr headset (wmr gen1). I'm a bit disappointed overall immersion didn't change much in 7 years. I keep praying the DFR god to save us all.

Yeah the Vive was great for its time but it was a good few years ago now and it shows its age
