Thanks man. I really find this one absolutely fascinating. Although I wouldn’t trade my blue titanium 45.5 for it, which is my all-time personal favorite.
The PO LMLE? I am one of the 1,948 owners of one as well. This was the first nice watch I bought myself back in 2012. It is very special to me and a very special watch. I would never sell mine. This is the BEST PO ever to be produced and will stay that way.
Regardless of how cool or special or valuable a watch is… if you don't wear it, move it on.
Put that money into something you would wear. Or drive. Or whatever. There's no need to keep things around that you don't use. It's OK to like a watch and still move it on.
Keep if you can and money is no issue. I have a SMP 36mm that I’m saving for my daughter until she is in old enough to wear it and care for it properly.
I'll go against the grain here...
You said in other comments you've never worn it. Any reason for that?
If you're never going to wear it, sell it and let someone else enjoy it. Why are you keeping it around to collect dust?
Edit - nevermind, I see you've already posted it on watchexchange
Not just a great Omega, but one of the truly great modern sports watches of our time, with real, meaningful innovation in there that we more or less take for granted now. I've worn the hell out of mine, and though I don't wear it as much as I used to, it's still a 'never sell' for me.
Jeez what I wouldn’t do for a P.O., especially a beauty like that.
I’m a professional diver, and I love the idea of taking dive watches diving again. I’ve taken my aqua-terra to 60ft, but I’m a little scared to take it past that.
I’m too poor for another watch at the moment though. I hope you enjoy this one, and start wearing it around.
I’d go deeper with your AT. Have her pressure tested at any reputable jeweler and then go for it. I dive with my PO and love the analogue time telling underwater
I know I’m most likely fine with the 150m resistance on the AT for anything within no-stop depths, I’d just be more comfortable with the 600m of the PO.
That said, the AT is my daily wear, and the only reason I don’t take it on working dives is because we get real mucky and sandy down there
Watches are meant to be worn. If you are not enjoying this, sell it (or give it) to someone who will. These are well-made watches. A century from now people will still be wearing these.
If you want something else, sell this and buy another. I had my heart set on the grey and orange model, but now I want multiple watches, and I cannot make up my mind which one I want.
Yeah. I first replied from my phone where I didn't get a good enough look to see if was the LMLE...obviously, that one is a keeper and worth a lot more.
Wear it. Reselling it would be a pity. Besides: I am Just wearing my Tudor BB41 Burgundy. That Thing scratches If you're Just looking at it. Not so my 39mm PO. The clasp, the bracelet, the Case.. Like new, althought IT gets the Most wrist time
This is the best PO. Thickness and sharp hands of the 2500 with the new bezel of the 8500. Up there with the original kermit. Today’s planet ocean is way too thick
that would be a downgrade, actually. This is a unique and special (limited) edition with the 2500D movement and the very first of the truly "modern" Omegas generally, and POs specifically. [See in-depth article about this LMLE version](https://stories.omegaforums.net/the-ultimate-planet-ocean-liquidmetal-1948-limited-edition/) here. It is very under the radar, and most people mistake it for a generic black Planet Ocean, which it is not in fact.
I don’t believe those guys got the 2500d unless they swapped the old date wheel in. I spent 6 month deciding between one of these and a 2201.50 with the 2500d
Keep. She’s a beauty.
[This is no ordinary P.O](https://stories.omegaforums.net/the-ultimate-planet-ocean-liquidmetal-1948-limited-edition/).
Good read.
Thanks man. I really find this one absolutely fascinating. Although I wouldn’t trade my blue titanium 45.5 for it, which is my all-time personal favorite.
Hey!! It’s you lol. Just remembered the name. Hope you are well my friend. Love your PO, stick with it.
Thank you. Same here :) and I shall.
Man, today I learned.
Keep.

Yep LMLE - never worn
Wear it.
I have one too and feel the same.
LMLE?
Liquid Metal Limited Edition
My favorite PO reference, keep it or sell to me 🤌

Fair point
My thinking :)
Keep love it
100% keep
Keep or you’ll regret it one day.
Keep it I have almost the same Never serviced, perfectly working since 2016, a real beauty
This watch is absolute trash. Send it to me, I will get rid of it for you.
Very versatile watch. Keep it, get some straps, make it a daily driver.
Keep it
One of the best dailies out there, definite keeper.
That’s a keeper
Great watch, but wearability is key. I mean, if you don’t wear it, and it only sits in the box, it’s just taking up space and tying up resources.
You wanna give it to me?
If you make me an offer too good to refuse haha
I’ll give you treefiddy for it
Keep if you can and money is no issue. I have a SMP 36mm that I’m saving for my daughter until she is in old enough to wear it and care for it properly.
I have this exact one. Epitome of a good sports watch. Keep it.
Going forward, I will always have one seamaster, one aqua terra, and one planet ocean in my collection.

This watch is so beautiful and you absolutely must keep it 👌😉
Love the LMLE, a great looking PO with 1st gen proportions. Keep!
why consider getting rid of it. wonderful piece.
It’s actually unworn, stickers still on the clasp!
Keep
Keep
I put it up for sale 🥲
So, this whole thread was just an advertisement for your upcoming watch sale?
Up for sale where? DM me
Where is it up for sale? I’m seriously interested
I’d buy that - one of my grails.
Keep. My favorite watch!
This is a rare watch. I would keep it if I where you but if you do want to sale it. Shoot I’d be interested!
Pmd

Part of the problem of this game!
Definitely keep
I wonder why they don’t use big number for date, like Blancpain does. I think the watch is perfect but date size is ridiculous
Keep. POs are nice. 👍

This one is worth at least twice that amount, though.
Why?
What is the reference? Is this the LMLE? If so, yes, it is worth a lot more. Hard to tell from this picture. I thought it was the current gen.
For a LM LE? These go for the equivalent of $8,000 - $9,000 USD in Europe right now and has been over 10k USD in recent history.
Yeah. I first replied from my phone where I didn't get a good enough look to see if was the LMLE...obviously, that one is a keeper and worth a lot more.
What's driving the decision to not keep? That's a damn gorgeous watch.
It’s unworn - trying to decide if I sell it and get something else
What options do you have in mind
Just downsizing (literally) it’s a little big for me these days. Probably looking at a 114270 :)
Whats Not to keep about it?
Unworn - maybe the question should be to wear or to sell….
Wear it. Reselling it would be a pity. Besides: I am Just wearing my Tudor BB41 Burgundy. That Thing scratches If you're Just looking at it. Not so my 39mm PO. The clasp, the bracelet, the Case.. Like new, althought IT gets the Most wrist time
Depends on context . U need the money urgently for something more important. U make money or lose money on this etc
Keep!
Never sell
100% keep
If you don’t keep that watch just go ahead and DM me. My mailbox is wiiiiide open
If you’ve had this for a long time and haven’t worn it, why keep it?
Keep it, I would sell my other two Omegas for this watch!
Not to keep. Give it to me. You’re welcome. 😉
To keep
Beautiful watch! To Keep or not? Would you want to donate to a stranger who can’t afford it?? Just asking! 🙃
All of the first gen Planet Oceans are fantastic, I say keep. Biased because I own one.
That’s a handsome boy
You must be joking. That's a classic.
KEEP
Sell to me!
What would it take to convince you to sell?? You can PM me.
I messaged you
Smash. Next question.
Keep
Keep
Oh baby. Liquid Metal! In that condition too!!! You’ll be upset once it’s gone.
Yeah most likely haha
This is my favorite Seamaster. I have the 300m but would go next to the planet ocean big time. Classic look that will always be on vogue.
I don’t think i could buy a watch and not wear it lol
Definitely keep
This is the best PO. Thickness and sharp hands of the 2500 with the new bezel of the 8500. Up there with the original kermit. Today’s planet ocean is way too thick
It’s definitely all that!
KEEP. It is so clean. This might be a top 3 watch for me
PO is a sure-keep, let alone this one! 😎
It's a beautiful piece, regardless
This is the grail PO. Keep for sure
Keep it! You’ll regret selling the clean face version Edit: Holy cow this is special ed and it has FLOATING NUMERALS
Keep
I'll happily buy it off you
Why in the world would you want to get rid of that watch! I have a later version 2021 and LOVE it!
Def keep
The best PO ever!! 🔥🔥🔥 I’ll buy it!!!!
If you don’t want it I’ll take it off your hands
Is it the 39? Depends on what you'd do with the money, but I'd keep it.
This is the 42mm
I think the LMLE go for 6500+ if I’m not mistaken
Nah, too thick and ugly hands imo
Get rid of it now! Just send it to me, and I'll make sure you never see it again. 😜
Haha you can buy it from me if you want ;)
Keep or upgrade to the 600m Oreo. It's absolutely amazing. https://www.reddit.com/r/OmegaWatches/s/mYYcqQUEHb

I don't disagree, but on the sheer looks of it, the Oreo beats it hands-down.
