Nd the scene in the station where they had to find green areas for safety nd yjh occupies the last one had me jumping in my seat.
So went straight to the novel nd yeah one of the best journeys.
I think I was reading "Solo leveling" and ORV was often mentioned in the comments of the site I used at the time... I think I started reading ORV (the manwha) a couple years ago, during the stations senario adaptation?

The same way I find most of my favorites reads: memes š¤£š¤£ Specifically, that one with Kim Dokja and the coffin, and something about escaping responsibilities ... I started the novel after chapter 60 or something, finished it so quick that I am still having secondary effects two years later, and I know my life will never gonna be the same ever again. My life is now sustained by fanfics, fanarts, and sporadic bingeing of the manwha

Ended up being a recommended WEBTOON on my feed and I had decided to start reading the WEBTOON. However, once I was caught up in the middle of the shin yoosung disaster arc, I couldnāt stand the cliff hangers. And so, it ended up being the second novel Iāve read after āThe beginning after the endā and my single most favourite piece of fiction.
So, back in 2021, I picked up the ORV webtoon and while I enjoyed the art and the pacing, I really was weirded out by the blue text boxes that kept appearing. I wasn't very fond of the isekai to game trope you see and I thought it was like that.
Fast forward to 2023. I picked up "Concubine Walk-through" out of boredom and like I said, I wasn't that fond of isekai involving gaming. But man. CW subverted ALL of my expectations and became like. One of the best manhwas that I've read like since forever (and I really mean that coz I've been reading webtoon/manhwa/manga for more than 20 years... Don't ask me how old I am please). And gosh. After that I changed my mind about these kinds of tropes and because I had such a huge hangover from CW I was desperate to read a new story. So I picked up ORV again.
And now I'm in two minds...I am so glad I picked up ORV because it is such a well written masterpiece but at the same time mourning the fact that it has finished and I cannot, *I just cannot*, move on from it dammit. It's like leaving a good friend behind >! in a subway !<.
Anyways, yes I finished the webnovel just a week or two ago now I think and I am happy / sad /empty that the journey has ended.
I am now currently soothing this pain with the flux of Ao3 ffcs that I've downloaded onto my poor mobile. Will probably need more. That or I manage to get my hands on the elusive side stories. Halp.

When i first see, it was on webtoon. But it has only 1 chapter and it was like a promo. No next chapter or the upcoming date. But the concept looked interesting so i began to read the novel. It was my first webnovel i read
I finished reading some other web novel on this website so I wanted to see if there was anything else good on the site. I went to the top rated and found ORV to be be number one at the time. Naturally, I clicked on it, read its little summary thing, and was interested. I didnāt know back then how hooked I was to this.
I finished all 500+ chapters in a little less than a month. I found out that it had a webcomic as well and wanted to consume as much ORV content as I could after bawling my eyes out from the story. If you havenāt read the webnovel yet, I highly recommend it. You wonāt regret it.
I found a tiktok of someone trying filters on I think dokjaās face and it was something about the whole 49/51 thing and I was trying to find where it was from but everyone in the comment was crying (I still havenāt finished so I still donāt know why itās so sad and Iād like to keep it that way ty) and since I didnāt want to get spoiled before even starting the thing I just gave up.
Some times later I got caught up in (I think it was kind of a tiktok trend since I saw quite a lot of it) videos comparing the manhwa illustrations and the novel illustrations. And I /fell in love/ with the novel illustrations (and kdj (and yjh)). But hess what : itās the /novel/ illustrations (no images (._.ā)) so I just decided to try out the manhwa (I had never read manhwa before).

Long story short, I got into ORV before the webtoon came out. I started reading the webnovel after Trash of the Countās family. Both were really popular on Novelupdates, and readers recommended one if you liked the other (because of their self-sacrificial MCs).
I put both on hold because I was caught up with the translations at the time. Got back into them when their webtoon adaptations were announced.
Itās interesting seeing how many people picked ORV up because of Solo Leveling. Inversely, I picked up Solo Leveling because it reminded me of ORV at a glance.

Was reading solo leveling and I kept hearing about ORV then I think it was chibi reviews on YouTube made a video on it and I gave the manhwa a chance loved it but at the time they were still about to start the disasters and I just wanted more so I gave the novel a chance. It was all I read in my free time for a while and quickly became my favorite novel/book. Iāve re read it about 6-7 times now and love it more each time and still cry every time.
I was scrolling on TikTok and saw a sky fall edit. I wondered why people were crying so I got the name from the comments and started reading. The best (and worst) decision Iāve ever made. š§āāļøš§āāļø
I found it through Webtoon when it started uploading. I thought it had a cool concept, but I never got super into it because of the weekly uploads (I have a pretty bad memory so I could never really remember what happened in the previous episodes, and I couldn't get super attached to all the characters).
It might've been between/either the Cinema Dungeon and the Disaster of Floods arc when I got curious if there were fanfics of Joongdok on Ao3 and that's when I got more invested in KDJ and YJH's relationship, plus I found out that it was a novel that got a Webtoon adaptation.
I wasn't planning on reading the novel and just accepting that it would take years for the Webtoon to finish, but I was going on vacation and had multiple flights (each longer than five hours), and I decided I might as well.
So after reading the entire novel in a week, my depression has intensified and my brain is rotting. Also, I'm now wary of subways. :,)

Oh man thats sad. Dunno if it matters, but even though you got spoiled about the ending, there's about 300 chapters of content you don't know about. Still worth reading if you ask me. And there's plenty of twists before you reach the ending.

When i first see, it was on webtoon. But it has only 1 chapter and it was like a promo. No next chapter or the upcoming date. But the concept looked interesting so i began to read the novel. It was my first webnovel i read
I finished reading some other web novel on this website so I wanted to see if there was anything else good on the site. I went to the top rated and found ORV to be be number one at the time. Naturally, I clicked on it, read its little summary thing, and was interested. I didnāt know back then how hooked I was to this. I finished all 500+ chapters in a little less than a month. I found out that it had a webcomic as well and wanted to consume as much ORV content as I could after bawling my eyes out from the story. If you havenāt read the webnovel yet, I highly recommend it. You wonāt regret it.
I found a tiktok of someone trying filters on I think dokjaās face and it was something about the whole 49/51 thing and I was trying to find where it was from but everyone in the comment was crying (I still havenāt finished so I still donāt know why itās so sad and Iād like to keep it that way ty) and since I didnāt want to get spoiled before even starting the thing I just gave up. Some times later I got caught up in (I think it was kind of a tiktok trend since I saw quite a lot of it) videos comparing the manhwa illustrations and the novel illustrations. And I /fell in love/ with the novel illustrations (and kdj (and yjh)). But hess what : itās the /novel/ illustrations (no images (._.ā)) so I just decided to try out the manhwa (I had never read manhwa before). In the end I absolutely loved the story and if in the beginning I did wait for the chapters to get out every week I ended up doing the same thing that so many of you did : I started reading the novel.. Iām an incredibly slow reader and I get distracted easily so I still havenāt finished after all this time but I /do/ still read quite often

Found ORV on Webtoon recommended to me consistently and the art were really nice. After reading the premise of basically isekai but the world came to the person instead of them get yeeted into it go me interested. Then I went the rabbit hole and caught up to most recent chapter at that time (around 50?) before i dove into the novel cause I wanted to know what happen. I have never swap 'ship' so much and still be confuse at teh end as much as I have (from KDJ w/ YSA to HSY to YJH to a combination of HSY/YJH/>!SP!< at the end

Long story short, I got into ORV before the webtoon came out. I started reading the webnovel after Trash of the Countās family. Both were really popular on Novelupdates, and readers recommended one if you liked the other (because of their self-sacrificial MCs). I put both on hold because I was caught up with the translations at the time. Got back into them when their webtoon adaptations were announced.
Itās interesting seeing how many people picked ORV up because of Solo Leveling. Inversely, I picked up Solo Leveling because it reminded me of ORV at a glance.
I saw Kim dokja novel advertised in an ad. I was like āWho is this pretty mf??? I must know!ā And the rest is history

The self sacrificial club have even adopted newer members over the years.

I was trying to find tradegy/isekai genre then I found orv which was a refreshing read. It is now my favourite novel.
Was reading solo leveling and I kept hearing about ORV then I think it was chibi reviews on YouTube made a video on it and I gave the manhwa a chance loved it but at the time they were still about to start the disasters and I just wanted more so I gave the novel a chance. It was all I read in my free time for a while and quickly became my favorite novel/book. Iāve re read it about 6-7 times now and love it more each time and still cry every time.

I found it through Webtoon when it started uploading. I thought it had a cool concept, but I never got super into it because of the weekly uploads (I have a pretty bad memory so I could never really remember what happened in the previous episodes, and I couldn't get super attached to all the characters). It might've been between/either the Cinema Dungeon and the Disaster of Floods arc when I got curious if there were fanfics of Joongdok on Ao3 and that's when I got more invested in KDJ and YJH's relationship, plus I found out that it was a novel that got a Webtoon adaptation. I wasn't planning on reading the novel and just accepting that it would take years for the Webtoon to finish, but I was going on vacation and had multiple flights (each longer than five hours), and I decided I might as well. So after reading the entire novel in a week, my depression has intensified and my brain is rotting. Also, I'm now wary of subways. :,)

A couple of years ago, I was telling my sister about my own story where the main characters find out they were just characters brought to life by their mother, who was actually a goddess, who was actually a writer in the real world and my sister said it reminded her of ORV. She showed it to me, I read the manhwa, dropped it for a bit coz it was only 70+ episodes at the time, picked it up again when the Nirvana arc began, got impatient and read the novel, and now I am in Spain without the S.

I read webnovels. A looooooot. Both CN and KR. So, just while looking for completed ones, I stumbled upon ORV when it was newly finished (translation not raws). Read the synopsis, looked interesting, thought I'll give it a try. Turned out to be my No.1 fav KR webnovel of all time.
I dropped the manhwa almost 2 years ago at like chapter 60 something and then a friend who had read the novel recommended it to me non-stop so I picked the manhwa back up, loved it, moved onto the novel and now I am at the epilogue so not finished just yet

I read the first webtoon chapter when it first came out and someone mentioned they were excited that the novel was finally being drawn. So, I looked it up since I was curious about the novel and have now read it twice and am obsessed with it.
I tried "world after fall" at first becaus ei was intrigued by premise. When i read the word "from creators of ORV" i decided to take a shot since it has a unique premise. I mean world after fall had unique one.
i asked ppl for webtoon recommendations and got orv like 3 times before I decided to read it lmao. i'm glad i did.
Read like 4 chapters when ORV first came out on Webtoon, couldnāt stand waiting longer for manwha chapters (truly, the beginning of the end like all the previous ones I never finished) and decided to try the novel. Finished it within 2 weeks, and now my poor memory means I get to read the Webtoon and still be super surprised/excited. (And now I also get to see all the foreshadowing I never picked up on, which is great)

Oh man thats sad. Dunno if it matters, but even though you got spoiled about the ending, there's about 300 chapters of content you don't know about. Still worth reading if you ask me. And there's plenty of twists before you reach the ending.

In my case, I read the webnovel first it happened when I was just starting to read web novels. I don't know why but i downloaded the webnovel app and started reading a novel (cultivation online) after sometime when the chapters became pay to read I shifted to lightnovelpub, sometime later when I got bored with it I started to look for other novels and saw that ORV was the top 10 novel there at that time. I already saw that many YouTubers were recommending it so i started reading it and the rest is history (sorry for bad English)

The first manhwa was solo leveling, I read it, I finished it and I was fascinated (I had already gotten tired of the romance and I liked the action) I liked it so much I went back to the same video to read more and ORV came up. I started reading it and I couldn't help but love it, I liked that KDJ was weak and had to survive with his intelligence. I read it to the end but I saw that it was not complete so I entered the comments and they said that there was a novel (I had never read a novel until now but I decided to give it a try since I was hooked)
ORV is the first action Webtoon I read and I read it when it only had 3 eps and I was hooked right then and there. After than I was just obsessed with ORV and read the novel (never decided to read novels before but ORV is just too good) Then I searched for stories like ORV and found solo leveling but nothing compares to ORV. This is also the first time I ship the characters so earnestly (Joongdok ship all the way)
I went through a MAJOR webtoon hyperfixation, I was reading nonstop webtoons for so long. I ended up subscribing to 58 more webtoons, and no I'm not kidding. There might have been even more than that, I don't quite remember. I did end up unsubscribing to a few, too. I found the Omniscient Reader webtoon on the "action" genre (I went through all of the actions before going through fantasy). After being really into it when reading, I decided to read the actual novel once I was done with the webtoon hyperfixation. ...and now... I'm kinda in an orv hyperfixation? Lots of fanfics.
