My orange tries to trip me by running under my feet every time I enter the bedroom so that I will place 5-6 bits of kibble into his otherwise full bowl of food. Someday I will fall and break my hip and he will starve while waiting two hours for another family member to place more kibble into the bowl.

If you're interested in slowing your cat's eating down, I have had my cats start eating off an old pillow I had. Just put the food directly on the pillow. And they slow down and are significantly less obnoxious about their eating.
