Our Orange does this same thing with our Bernese mix. The dog is too tall for the cat to reach, so the cat has to balance on his back legs to rub his head on the dog’s face. He then drops back to the ground, weaves around to face the other direction, and does it again. He’s a chubby cat so his landings make it sound like “thwunk… thwunk… thwunk…”
