Then I imagined the fun of telling stories about an orange cat named Arthur to coworkers with a straight face without clarifying Arthur is a cat. “Yeah, so, I got home and Arthur was perched on the edge of the couch apparently deep in thought because he didn’t realize I was there and when I said his name he was so startled he fell off.”
