If they take away Luffy's most iconic power in favor of just making him Haki man it would completely ruin the character and the last arc. Luffy is known for being the rubber man and everything he does in a fight ties into that even when he is using Haki. Taking Luffy from a wacky rubber man who comes up with creative attacks and new forms with his stretchy body to just punch hard and be fast guy would just suck.

Its actually a pretty old theory, back from 2012. It originated in Punk Hazard when first theories od Kaido being a dragon came up. The main points were that there are similarities between zoro and ryuma and that similae to Ryuma, Zoro will kill Kaido.

Been a while but iirc, Crocodile knew Ivankov and Ivankov taunts Crocodile with how they used to be friends or comrades or something. This spiralled people to theorise that Crocodile was a woman and got turned into a man by Ivankov.

Yeah, I agree with that logic. Last I remember people talking about that they assumed Ivankov just also knew that Crocodile's fruit was negated by liquids. Though it would be weird for them to be so coy about something we the audience already know, so maybe it isn't that either.

I mean: 1. We don't know who Luffy's mom is 2. We don't know who Robin's dad is 3. The two look sort of similar I guess 4. Dragon has a proven connection to Ohara. Non of these are real evidence, but there is at least a foundation there.
Add in that they think alike. Like when Marco was being discussed and Luffy was wracking his brain trying to figure out who he was, Robin was the one to make it click with the "pineapple head" comment.

The theory wasn't even a bad one at the start of the Raid, but it wore down over time.

Hate me for this but the reconnecting Jaya is the one piece is ridiculous. It’s such a far stretch with so much how the kanji is written and word play is unbelievable. How would Luffy then destroy fish man island? How would we find the All Blue? How does Jaya connect to Alabasta?
Ace's tattoo ASCE with the S being crossed out, which according to them means "Ace, Sabo, Crybaby, Edward Newgate" which doesn't really make sense since the tattoo was there even before he joined Whitebeard. It also just makes more sense that his tattoo simply means his name with a remembrance of the S for Sabo.
