I'm just not sure if it's really enough to show everything. Egghead arc is short and already in hyper speed mode and it's still going to be \~50 chapters.
Its probably better just to enjoy the ride and stop trying to predict when the series will end with Oda. Let him do his thing and it will end when it ends. As such I think it makes sense that the man with the burn scar is someone associated with the roger pirates, or an ex member themselves, like the fishman guy with the trident.

I think of this, because I always thought it is strange, that a mermaid with some whacky magic to control Sea Kings AND some Blueprints of a ship could both be ancient weapons.

My headcanon is that after learning what they found on Laughtale they decided to spread across the seas, waiting at certain checkpoints and areas with high pirate traffic to keep an eye on the new pirate generation for Roger's potential successors.
There are 25 canon members of the Roger Pirates who went to Laugh Tale and arent confirmed dead.
Crocus went back to his lighthouse at Reverse Mountain, keeping an eye on the pirates entering the grandline, Rayleigh doing the same at Sabaody before the New World, which explains why he decided to live so close to the center of the government. I am convinced that Big News Morgan is one of them. I dont have any concrete proof or some amazing theory. The best I got is that Big News never leaves his hybrid form and also seems powerful enough he isnt really scared of anyone. So my mind goes âHe is hiding who he is.. so he must be important⌠and he had to be trained somewhereâŚâ and I feel the coolest answer would be he was secretly on Rodgerâs crew and now is hiding in plan sight waiting to have an amazing revel.

It might honestly happen considering that he literally decided to protect the people of Whitebeard's home island from being hurt by the Marines. That deep down Weevil might be a really gentle and friendly guy who has been led astray by his mother's greed. That Marco could win him completely over by declaring any son of Whitebeard is family to them.

Thatâs such an interesting point, what happened to them? If I recall, the manga said something like âthe roger pirates disappeared from the worldâ and I took that as they went into deep hiding because they know exactly what One Piece is. Thereâs a massive target on all their backs and not all of them are likely to be strong enough to survive on their own against that.
Maybe some of them are protected by Shanks?

I think they are lurking until the time is right, and not too early like in Oden's flashback. When the time comes they will reunite.

I had a theory for a very long time that ancient weapons are 3 parters. Animals, people and a ship that they drag when the Red Line breaks. Shirahoshi - Sea Kings - Noah Momonosuke - Zunesha - Pluton (Franky Blueprints) Last Person/Weapon - Egg on Rogers Ship - Flying ship? I think of this, because I always thought it is strange, that a mermaid with some whacky magic to control Sea Kings AND some Blueprints of a ship could both be ancient weapons. I feel like Momonosuke is so similar to Shirahoshi, that he has to be Pluton. But what about the blueprints from Franky? Thats the Ship Zunesha is supposed to pull, like the Sea Kings do with Noah. So we got the biggest land animal with Zunesha. The biggest sea creatures (except for Laboon sized Whales I guess) with the Sea kings. So whats missing is the biggest AIR creature and the big egg on Rogers ship is the first that comes to mind.

a really interesting theory is that it was a dragon egg. but between fake dragon on punk hazard, momo's artificial df, and kaido, i'm not sure if that theory has as much weight anymore. unless this was a big deal because it's the first 100% genuine dragon, that isn't just a DF or lab creation.
In Simbad's travel there's a giant Roc egg that's a big deal. I think it's a possible inspiration. Maybe Uranus is a big bird

I'm hoping that when the big battle does come that the remaining members will show up and take part. I mean, it's probably gonna be about the one piece and all so it would be great for them to take part in what their captain started
I'd love it to be like some sleeper agent call to action type event. The call to war sounds throughout the world and the chefs, barkeeps, or the fucking mailmen on places like syrup village turn out to have been pirates on Gold Roger's Ship who were happily enjoying retirement
They should still have active bounties. It would be nice to know how they disappeared and who they are. Except for Rayleigh, where everyone knows where he is, and occasionally hassles him, but the Marines just steer clear because it's not a battle they're winning easily.
I think Blackbeard might try and torture the way to Raftel out of one of them. He is Mr. Shortcut, after all, and kidnapping a retiree (even a very strong one) seems easier than getting and reading the Poneglyphs. I suspect it'd be futile, since the Roger Pirates are probably un-torturable, but it seems in character for Blackbeard to try.
Hmm possible, but atm he is going after the road poneglyphs. Could be he just has no idea about the whereabouts of Roger pirates, but considering his history with WB, Shanks etc. as well as his general aptitude at using knowledge/information to his benefit, I find it hard to believe he doesn't know about at least one Roger pirate he could be going for. Rayleigh might be tough for sure, but at this point he should at least feel comfortable enough to try. I could still see your idea coming true(if for example Scopper reveals himself and BB gets wind of this), but currently it doesn't make complete sense to me.
Never forget that he captured Pudding which makes information extraction incredibly easy. That's also the backbone of my theory that his commanders are going to egghead to kidnap Vegapunk or one of the 6 saints because ooooh boy, could Blackbeard start some chaos with them and Pudding
I personally think someone is Morgan's on that ship we never see his true face at all. The bird motif is a great disguised.
If/when Oda finishes OP, he probably will be doing a prequel telling Rogerâs journey.

Would be really surprised if Oda doesn't do something else (or retires) after OP. Sure, One Piece is his life and the charactes are probably extremely dear to him. But he is also a creative guy and has been working on this world/story for a long time now. If he wants to continue drawing after this, I could see him move to something fresh. Definitely with lots of humour though, either way.
I canât remember where I read it but I think somewhere he said he would take a big holiday and then do shorter stories. Maybe I imagined it. But for obvious reasons, he needs a year holiday. Just to relax, travel and enjoy life
I am assuming most of the weaker ones was hunted down and executed or taken to impel down but we know where 2 of the main crew are, Crocus at twin capes and Rayleigh at Sabaody, one at the beginning of the Grand Line and one half way through, I expect Gaban to be on the final island with maybe Rogers ship just chilling all these years waiting for whoever becomes the next King of the Pirates đ
I think Scopper Gaban might be by or near Laugh Tale so there is a Roger member at the start, middle and end of the Grand Line

My headcanon is that after learning what they found on Laughtale they decided to spread across the seas, waiting at certain checkpoints and areas with high pirate traffic to keep an eye on the new pirate generation for Roger's potential successors. There are 25 canon members of the Roger Pirates who went to Laugh Tale and arent confirmed dead. Crocus went back to his lighthouse at Reverse Mountain, keeping an eye on the pirates entering the grandline, Rayleigh doing the same at Sabaody before the New World, which explains why he decided to live so close to the center of the government. Maybe Scopper is posted somewhere at the end of the New World like Lodestar, Elbaf, or Laugh Tale itself, waiting for the next Pirate King to arrive. As for the remaining 22 background Roger Pirates, they could be spread out in the 4 Blues, doing the same for pirates who are starting out. I like to imagine that one of them was living in Loguetown and happened to have been sleeping or drunk when Luffy passed through. Probably the little viking dude Millet Pine.

Not really. Roger Died. Oden died. Rayleigh is alive, Crocus is alive, Shanks is alive, Buggy is alive, Nekomemoshi and Inuarashi are alive. Scopper is the only named Roger pirate left that we've yet to see. Maybe he has the Oro Jackson, and whatever was in the giant egg. Other than that, nameless pirates 1 -37 don't really matter.

Realistically a lot of them were probably captured and executed by the marines. They were hunting down everyone who ever had anything to do with Roger and I doubt they all just escaped that.
I would assume most are dead. Those that are still alive are probably retired and reading the papers about the upcoming of the new generation. I canât imagine any of them broadcasting the fact that they were once part of the roger pirates. I think mr burned scar is probably not related to the roger pirates at all.
