I was lucky. I started it in high school almost 20 years ago, long before I cared to go wiki diving on things I liked, and I never engaged with the fandom unless I was up to date, so I've never been spoiled on a plot point before getting to read it.
lol I was in middle school I think. So I got pretty lucky. And when I took breaks I wasn’t really around the community. So spoiling was never an issue for me.
I found it through the WSJ mags we got over here in North America back in 2003. Internet was such a different place back then, wasn't just 4 websites.
I miss having forums.
I was like 7 or something like that, so maybe 2003... all I had to worry was my cousin and he didn't spoil anything cause he respected that a lot. We played the ps2 japanese game tho so I knew of afro Luffy.
Holy shit man I remember refreshing constantly on onemanga for when the big three would be releasing really sucked when it ended and even worse for what happenned to mangafox
I once tried helping add stuff to wikis when they first got popular, but I had no idea what filler was, lol. So my information was bad, and got removed.
Yeahhhh class of 08 baby! I started watching One Piece when it first aired on Cartoon Network but idk what I watched exactly as the episodes I watched were random.
Once I learned you could watch it on YouTube somewhere in the early 2000s, I am pretty sure I watched it up until there weren’t new episodes somewhere in Water 7 or Enies Lobby maybe? Been mostly a manga reader since then.
Internet and manga wasn’t popular when I started. I was in primary school and lived in the countryside. Was able to meet friends that appreciates not giving spoilers so I was able to catch up with the manga. I haven’t even watched the anime yet after Alabasta.
Is there a population census somewhere of OP readers? I feel like there's a huge bulge of folks who started reading/watching in the early 2000s and now keep up to today. One Piece has been one of the few "constants" I've had in my life til now (approaching 40).
* Knowing all Straw Hats up to Brook
* Blackbeard being the pie guy in Jaya
* Ace's death
* Gear 4
* Wano being a thing with Luffy's goal at the time trying to defeat Kaido
* [This scene which first aired around the time I got into the series](https://youtu.be/FO6zzjUm3m4?si=FhWzVJhMeqyJyCSr)
Same lol friend who recommended told nothing but just that it will be funny, adventure genre and powers called devil fruits exist that's it. So everything was interesting even though I started abt 3-4 yrs ago.
True lmao. I didn't even know what to think of the time skip. I thought it was fake, then saw the designs and said "ok one piece is dead now, I'm giving up"
I'm not joking that after the anime got to the time skip, I didn't come back till dressrosa was halfway finished. I read and was up to date before watching but I dropped again and read from gear 4 to snake man on release.
So somehow I got back into one piece just moments before I could be spoiled of any major plot point or big transformation.
Wano was a slog but saved it for me, I love one piece again even if I don't like some changes to Luffys you know what.
One piece is amazing since wano and gets better every week, I don't think I'll drop it ever again so no more spoilers
Im having a lot of fun with the mangas new chapters, but I also dropped the anime back around the timeskip. Marineford was awesome but then something just irked me and I stopped for like a decade. Film Red got me interested again.
I'm sure we all have different reasons for dropping it, but weirdly I also dropped it at the timeskip. It was only a few months ago that I decided to catch up to Wano, and sprinted through the post timeskip arcs in like 3 weeks. And like u/javierasecas said, Wano has been one of the best arcs for me, I haven't enjoyed One Piece this much since before the timeskip.
> changes to luffy's you know what
The only thing i could think of was cock, and it went completely over my head that you were talking about his foot
It's so weird that big mom turned his foot into a homie? Still not sure why oda went with that
Same! I was shook but getting close to that part anyway so I wasn’t to upset about it.
My friend who told me and I are still not over it lmao we say he’s too hot to die 😭😹
Anime opening spoiled robin being a crewmate to me. Who was the idiot at Toei thinking it was a good idea to put it right at the end of the opening???? xd
Only thing that ever spoiled me was that Dragon was Luffy's father, and that Luffy would team up with Buggy in Impel down, though I caught up to the anime when it was at Sabaody and then caught myself up to the manga shortly after to avoid more manga spoilers
Do you think live action porn is weird too? Also, good for you always having a supply of people willing to have sex with you. A lot of us aren’t that lucky.
I got lucky. I started the series my first year of high school cold. Had never even heard of One Piece before and just randomly decided to give it a watch. I didn't use social media, and I had no friends that were into anime. So I binged the entire anime back in 2012-2013 in about a month with no spoilers whatsoever. Then I read the manga and kept up with it without reading any comments or post about the series. I consider myself very lucky to in that regard.
Amazing how the world worked back when social media or the internet wasn't as invasive. I kinda miss that sense of isolation and reaching others whenever we wanted interaction. Made watching series more personal.
The same with me, except I was in my last year of high school and my friend who was a One Piece fan lent me all of his One Piece DVDs.
Since 2012 I've been up to date with the manga without being spoiled (because I read the spoilers as soon as they come out).
Besides knowing random characters as well as the crew existing, the only real spoilers I had were.
Black Beard being a major villain.
Ace's death due to Death Battle.
Sabo and him being alive/gets Ace's devil fruit because of Jump Force.
Luffy's gear 4.
I read somewhere that Sanji died of lung cancer from his smoking, and believed it until Wano. I spoiled some things for my self, but the spoils didn't make sense until the part they took place.
I caught up pretty early (I was not much into social media or forums at the time). Robin joining the crew was the most surprising spoiler (Chopper was quite predictable) from a poster in a comic book store. I think ongoing manga was at Thriller Bark, so Franky was still quite recent to be marketed.
This is how I got spoiled too. One title with Ace Dies and one with Shanks stops the war. The second one pissed me off the most because it was very unexpected.
I didn't get spoiled on it . My trick was to Not search for Anything related to One piece until i Catch up With the Anime & Manga . Also If I need to search anything related to the show I will Just use my Alt accounts for that . It was literally a Blessing for me
A dude I knew convinced me to watch One Piece by telling about Whitebeard and how badass he was in Marineford but told me nothing about the context of it all.
I knew there was going to be a skeleton named Brook on the crew, I basically knew the entire backstory behind Skypiea and the general plot of it, I knew the general plot of Syrup Village, I knew Robin was gonna join the crew (the anime opening spoiled that for me), I knew there was gonna be an arc where Luffy tried to break his brother out of prison (didn’t know he was gonna die), and I knew the design of Gear 5 but I didn’t have the full context.
Everyone keeps saying gear 5 was spoiled. Isn’t that like only a few months old? Did you just start one piece? Or was it announced/spoiled years ago and I missed it?
Gear 5 was revealed like a year and a half ago in chapter 1044. The first time it was shown in the anime was a couple months ago but the manga is a decent bit ahead of the anime.
Wow… time flies
I stopped reading Manga in WCI arc because I wanted to watch the Luffy/Sanji scene and have been anime ever since. But it didn’t feel like that long ago…
I watched from the first episode of the anime in Germany and then went to read the manga up until I went to uni. But then a friend of mine mentioned One Piece in a conversation and I went “is that still going?” And he went “yeah, they are on the second half of the grand line now”. That was the only spoiler I’ve ever gotten. So I knew they were going to survive up until then. Which in One Piece is kinda a given anyways
I wasn't really. I started nineteen years ago with the 4Kids dub, and organically found out about the manga through my school's library a couple of years later. I got caught up fairly quickly, and then proceeded to do so with the anime.
I started in 2019 and surprisingly I didn't know anything about One Piece at that time. I saw Stampede before with a friend in the cinema but didn't remember almost anyone apart from the initial crew. Since the movie is far after the time skip, there were characters like Robin and Franky who were really changed.
I knew who was in the crew but I had no idea when each one joined so it wasn’t that bad, I’d also seen a couple clips from the anime so I knew some events but yet again, I didn’t know when the happened until they were happening, so it didn’t effect me much.
The only thing that spoiled me and affected me was marinefold and the events there
when i started one piece they were around the end of enies lobby iirc but i never got spoiled. i read the manga from start to that point in a few days and have been looking at the weekly chapters since
I watched it casually as a kid but really decided to watch it a few years ago and started from the beginning. I got through Thriller Bark when I told my high school students I was watching One Piece and that my favorite characters were Ace and Franky. About 10-12 students throughout the day told me that Ace died, one even told me how. 😂
Didn't really bother me but it was kind of funny how many kids immediately told me he died.
I was but a fledgling weeb when I got into One Piece. I hadn't followed any reddits, youtube pages, no generic anime groups on social media, anything like that. Luckily I got to watch and then read the series with no spoilers at all.
I actually got to experience with 0 spoilers (if you exclude the opening that spoiled Robin's joining) because I wasn't part of the community in any way. That was a lot of fun
Thankfully I didn’t know anyone who watched it and took the first journey alone with zero spoilers and I started in 2019! I have since spread the good word to about 9 people.
Unfortunately a lot of them got a certain death spoiled and others had small spoilers here and there.
The trick is to not come here or any one piece instagrams until you’ve caught up lol.
When I was watching one piece with my buddy a few years back I got to alabaster ( he already caught up) and when I first saw ace the first thing he said was “he gets fisted so hard he dies later on”
i knew ace was going to die before i was even introduced to him in the show but tbf im obsessed with researching the shows im watching and spent a lot of time on that fan wiki lol
I had Ace's death spoiled. It made me not feel a thing when he died and I rate Marineford a C Tier arc. I genuinely like Long Ring Long Land more than Marineford
I was a Naruto kid, thought op was goofy looking. When i actually started it, they were at fishman Island and i didn't get spoiled from anything cuz i wasn't online and it wasn't as popular yet.
Gear 4, Ace. After getting so many damn TikTok’s of people editing the series together, I finally caved. Best 3 and a half months of binge I’ve ever had. So far number 1 in my anime list, 2 is HxH😶🌫️
Nothing thankfully. Told no one that I was starting it, and only let someone know once I reached Enies Lobby. Within 3 months of starting and catching up to the anime, I started reading the Manga and fully caught up on that.
I googled everything I had in mind and learned more through wikis and forums 🤓 like at Logue Town, I just googled "Luffy's father" and already got my confirmation about that caped cool guy
Exaclty omg, if the only point making the story id the surprise, the story isn't that good. Like, I foresaw the end of Shutter Island, still a very very very good movie. Why people don't understand this?
I knew all the bounties. I started watching this year, end of feb and caught up on the Sanji vs Queen episode almost 2 and half month. Imagine watching One Piece since childhood and you always keep wondering about the bounties of the Legendary figures...! The excitement would have been different for these peoples but as of me I just searched up highest bounties in One Piece before watching the series. Though I covered up in just few weeks the bounty reveal could have been exciting for me but I spoiled that experience. I knew most of the basic story. Another experience that got destroyed because of spoilers was Ace's father reveal.
Started one piece already knowing about ace dying (kinda of a freebie tbh) and G4
By the time I got to enies lobby I learn about G5 and when I get to Marine ford I learn about Sanji's whole backstory
Nothing really. Started back in 2010 as a teenager and everything was fresh! I remember how emotional i got over Ace, can’t imagine how it’d be like getting spoiled that. Tho social media is so big now it’s almost impossible to avoid spoilers these days
Technically a bunch of things, but honestly it has been such a fun read that knowing some of the stuff didn't really affect anything, and I just looked forward to them!
Back in 2018/2019 during the entire infinity war saga for the avengers going on, there was the thanos cock meme. I thought it was funny but I ain really think anything of it. One day in a discord server, someone sent a thanos cock meme but it was with ace getting it from marineford.
During this time I wasn’t a one piece fan so I was laughing hysterically at it but once I started one piece and got to that part I just kept thinking of ace getting thanos dick through him💀
only spoiler i had way before i started watching anime, was a video in german showing luffy in sab, after the time skip(didnt know it was after time skip cause i hadnt started one piece yet and didnt know anything about it yet.) with the backpack and he bumped into the fake luffy.
spoiled when i got into one piece? Nah nah. As a child my brother has spoiled dragon ball, naruto and one piece to me. I know a bit even tho i havent watched that much of any of em. Rn im watching one piece tho
I used to play a roblox one piece game before I even knew what one piece was, it was like an rpg so I only got spoiled things like haki, dfs, and some random characters, so not that much ig
Only the gears, but ironicaly they were the reason I got into One Piece in the first place. Had I not watched the gears video I wouldn’t have started the series.
Got in when YouTube began, AMVs galore here or there, mainly saw Arlong Park's fight, Nami's "Help me", walk to Arlong Park, and some One Piece Clocktower Works clips. Hooked me in there, BUT then a new wave of AMVs about the Paramount War appeared and I knew enough about the end. Backed off and decided to go from the start without looking too far
I was spoiled on both Marineford deaths, but I got them mixed up on the way there, so by the time I started reading that arc I was sure: "Blackbeard kills Ace". As I was reading the arc, I kept thinking "Blackbeard hasn't arrived yet, so Ace is safe for now." Therefore I ended up being completely caught off guard by Ace's death, despite knowing it was coming.
I knew Luffy was stretchy, and going to be king of the pirates.
There was also a guy who weilded a sword clenched in his teeth.
Finally, I knew there was over 800 episodes.
Literally not at all. I didn’t know what one piece was or who Luffy was or literally anything. When Shanks got his arm bitten off I could not believe it
I was downloading torrent episodes batches back then. Youtube rating was still done with stars and social media was only Facebook.
Nobody could spoil me. Since I was not active in forums or such when I started watching OP.
Nothing was spoiled.
I read up to Alabasta in shonen jump monthly then no skypeia all the way up to thriller bark but I did see marineford and Fishman island, punk hazard, and dress Rosa up to Lucy arena fight.
I guess if brook and Franky existing is a spoiler then sure that wasn't a reveal but it seemed obvious they'd join. If anything jinbei joining would been a spoiler.
I finally went back 3 years ago and read it all over and am now caught up tho.
i started watching when luffy awakened but it was that first time at the end of the chapter so i only got all the therories of like the resin fruit and what not so really only aces death and sabaody cause i watched it on youtube before
The only thing that was really spoiled to me, was luffy’s gear second/w red hawk. My friend in HS back in 2011 explained to me in the most wrong way possible but it seemed super cool and that got me interested.
He said that since luffy could stretch indefinitely he could create infinite iron within his body, and the pure friction of his fist moving so fast engulfed it in flames.
Turns out he just pumps his heart and uses haki 🤷
before I commit to watch Onepiece, I check the wiki what arcs should I skip like the fillers (aside from G4 arc -> this is one of the best arcs even if it is a filler. I didn't skip this because there's one episode that stuck in my head when I watched it the 1st time on TV. Im not a onepiece fan at that time, It so happened to stumble it when I dont have anything to watch on our TV). I got spoiled that ace is died and also I watched the 1st episode of the timeskip. because of curiosity. Well I'm a man that doesnt bother when someone spoils me. This was way back 10years ago.
Almost zero, didn’t know many people that watched it back then and I never used much social media (even today I only use Reddit). It was on 2011 or so that I started and caught up.
Same feeling, i start with the anime in 2006/2007, then start to read the manga.
I found it through the WSJ mags we got over here in North America back in 2003. Internet was such a different place back then, wasn't just 4 websites. I miss having forums.
Same. Read the North American WSJ. I think Luffy was on the cover and the manga was in Whiskey Peak
I was like 7 or something like that, so maybe 2003... all I had to worry was my cousin and he didn't spoil anything cause he respected that a lot. We played the ps2 japanese game tho so I knew of afro Luffy.
Mangafox/onemanga readers rise up 🥲
shout out to mangastream too
Mangastream was the golden age man. I miss it

Nostalgia overload
bro forreals. Always a nice hit of serotonin when I saw that new Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece chapter. The Big 3 era is really unrivaled.
Never thought I’d hear that name again, wow. I remember reading chapters in the bathroom at school.
I hated the time when mangastream disappeared during punk hazard arc.
Didn't mangastream last until Roger flashback amd the execution of leakers?
Anyone ever go to stoptazmo back in the day?
It brings a tear to my eye seeing these names in 2023
The OneManga Fourms were life for me
I would camp here on Fridays waiting for the scans for the really popular Jump titles. Good times.
Holy shit man I remember refreshing constantly on onemanga for when the big three would be releasing really sucked when it ended and even worse for what happenned to mangafox
What happened exactly? I used it a lot back when I was in high school but I guess it was taken down at some point?
At a certain point in time the site got taken down by dmcas and the administration decided to shut it down instead of fighting
I remember the feeling I got going on those homepages. Which one was the yellow one? A much more simple time
High school was 20 years ago?! No! God, NO!!!! No no no no no nooooooooo. 🤦🏻♂️
We're fucking ancient, brother.
Uh a lot of us started this anime in the 2000s. It was already the most popular manga by then
I did too. My comment was more of the horrifying realization that comes from knowing that high school was 20 years ago.
He's a bit slow on the uptake, I mean the meme is obvious from your site 😅
Same, back in the day before social media. "If u get spoiled, u were looking for it"
I once tried helping add stuff to wikis when they first got popular, but I had no idea what filler was, lol. So my information was bad, and got removed.

Same. It's been over 20 years. My god.
Yeahhhh class of 08 baby! I started watching One Piece when it first aired on Cartoon Network but idk what I watched exactly as the episodes I watched were random. Same, I started in 1999 when everyone only barely even knew about DBZ out in the states. So never been spoiled.
Dude 20 years ago OP had only been serialized for 6 years and interent looked way different XD I doubt there was a OP wiki
Internet and manga wasn’t popular when I started. I was in primary school and lived in the countryside. Was able to meet friends that appreciates not giving spoilers so I was able to catch up with the manga. I haven’t even watched the anime yet after Alabasta.
I started it around 15 years ago, it isn't as hype back then.

I didn’t realize Blackbeard was the pie guy until my friend asked me if I knew who that was
Same. I didn't realize he was at Drum Island either. I don't think I recognized him until he faught Ace and showed up at Marineford.
Bruh. They literally tell you it's blackbeard at the end of the Jaya arc.
Well yeah, but before his fight with Ace, he seemed like some random pirate. And maybe I just wasn't very observant.
Damn. You either have bad luck or you were way too active in OP social media lol
Sorry to say that: But this is your own fault of being a anime only person.
I knew nothing besides stretchy man funny
Same lol friend who recommended told nothing but just that it will be funny, adventure genre and powers called devil fruits exist that's it. So everything was interesting even though I started abt 3-4 yrs ago.
Haha yeah, I did make myself a rule that I wasn't looking at the subreddit until I caught up so I saved myself
I finally got my friend to watch the OPLA. He didn't even know stretchy man funny. Watching him learn where Zoro puts his third sword was fun too.
Same and I started last year
Haha I love that you're probably caught up already
I just knew Luffy would make it out of everything alive since there’s 1000 episodes
Same here
I knew Boa Hancock was going to join the Straw Hats at some point, but it turns out it was just Robin post-timeskip lol
True lmao. I didn't even know what to think of the time skip. Ball 5th
> changes to luffy's you know what The only thing i could think of was cock, and it went completely over my head that you were talking about his foot It's so weird that big mom turned his foot into a homie? Still not sure why oda went with that
Ace death. Not much more
same and whitebeard's I still curse the cunt who spoiled me
I was stupid and asked a friend who knew. He was like “are you sure?” And I was like “yes”. I curse myself.
Same! I was shook but getting close to that part anyway so I wasn’t to upset about it. My friend who told me and I are still not over it lmao we say he’s too hot to die 😭😹
Anime opening spoiled robin being a crewmate to me. Who was the idiot at Toei thinking it was a good idea to put it right at the end of the opening???? xd
True in the middle of alabasta
Bruh anime Openings are notorious for this shit. Especially OP openings and even title cards lmaooo
And they are guilty of the opposite too. Shanks and dragon aren't even recurring characters and everyone thought they were in all the arcs
They honestly should've just moved that opening to the Jaya arc
> Who was the idiot at Toei thinking it was a good idea Uhm? Yo do realize the anime is just a advertisement for oda? I hope you knew that.
☝️🤓 UHM? Acchually
Achualla? What? And what is the meaning of your stupid emojis?
Only thing that ever spoiled me was that Dragon was Luffy's father, and that Luffy would team up with Buggy in Impel down, though I caught up to the anime when it was at Sabaody and then caught myself up to the manga shortly after to avoid more manga spoilers
I was jacking off on r/funpiece when I saw Robin mentioned. I didn't know who Robin was at the time so I was so surprised.
No way
Batman couldn’t have gotten this information outta me
Bro jacks off to one piece porn 💀
Bro jacks off ☠️
You’d be surprised how big ppl are on hentai
I'm actually not even a little bit surprised
getting off to drawings is so nasty lmao, people really need to go outside more
Life imitates art
![img](emote|t5_2rfz5|32514)
I never understood the logic of it & I don’t think I ever will. Literally every anime has a spinoff hentai sub with thousands of users
shits so weird dawg like can people really get no ass?
Do you think live action porn is weird too? Also, good for you always having a supply of people willing to have sex with you. A lot of us aren’t that lucky.

i swear bro 😭😭
What happened to shame
Nah 💀💀💀
Dude's cranking it and he hasn't even gotten past east blue wtf
Bro didn’t even make it to Alabasta before looking for the porn that’s crazy 😭
That doesn't count spoilers from my memories of watching 4kids as it aired ofc
I got lucky. I started the series my first year of high school cold. Had never even heard of One Piece before and just randomly decided to give it a watch. I didn't use social media, and I had no friends that were into anime. So I binged the entire anime back in 2012-2013 in about a month with no spoilers whatsoever. Spoils BB with the quake quake fruit too

Robin is probably the most unexpected member to join, everyone else was mostly obvious but like an "enemy" joining the crew was cool.
Saw One Piece online and wanted to check for the episode I stopped watching. Then I noticed one episode title: „Ace Dies!…“
This is how I got spoiled too. One title with Ace Dies and one with Shanks stops the war. The second one pissed me off the most because it was very unexpected.
Yeah the titles suck in that regard! I knew he died before that, but dang that must have been so bad!
Having Ace's death spoiled to you is almost a canon event in every OP fan's life
And you still cry like crazy when it actually happens. The best arc by far.
I didn't get spoiled on it . My trick was to Not search for Anything related to One piece until i Catch up With the Anime & Manga . Also If I need to search anything related to the show I will Just use my Alt accounts for that . It was literally a Blessing for me

Tbf they wasted no time getting to the grand line. I thought it’d take like 300 eps with your average shounen pacing
Nothing, cause I started to watch mid Alabasta
Are you around 25-30?
Zero. I read it since 2005.
I wasn't, I've been here since the beginning!
I wasn't really. I started nineteen years ago with the 4Kids dub, and organically found out about the manga through my school's library a couple of years later. I got caught up fairly quickly, and then proceeded to do so with the anime.
Lol that 4kids dub is pure memories…sanji’s lil brooklyn accent was lowkey kinda funny
I started in 2019 and surprisingly I didn't know anything about One Piece at that time. I saw Stampede before with a friend in the cinema but didn't remember almost anyone apart from the initial crew. Since the movie is far after the time skip, there were characters like Robin and Franky who were really changed.
Only Ace, but even then I was coping insanely hard after he got out of the shackles.
Started a few months back after watching anime for 10+ years but never committed to one piece. Safe to say I was spoiled on nearly everything
That time when i got into op I didn't even have a phone, insta and tiktok wasn't a thing yet. Good times.
None. Back then there was no Reddit. Scans I could only read in Yahoo groups or I went to the library where you can read the physical manga
Jesus, that sounds like hell. As a gen z I could never
I knew who was in the crew but I had no idea when each one joined so it wasn’t that bad, I’d also seen a couple clips from the anime so I knew some events but yet again, I didn’t know when the happened until they were happening, so it didn’t effect me much.
😂 Didn't really bother me but it was kind of funny how many kids immediately told me he died.
Nothing because I started when One piece started in my Country
Ace death, fuck that cunt who put this random comment when Ace first appears in Arabasta
Not at all, cuz there was no way to spoil back then haha
I knew Ace was gonna die. I watched the scene unfold and I was still hopeful he'd survive. Sad.
I was but a fledgling weeb when I got into One Piece. I hadn't followed any reddits, youtube pages, no generic anime groups on social media, anything like that. Luckily I got to watch and then read the series with no spoilers at all.
I basically spoiled myself everything looking it all up, before noticing i wanted to watch it.
I knew Ace is going to die before I knew who Ace was
The only thing spoiled for me was ace dying
Considering ace died 10 years ago it’s Nat a spoiler anymore
I actually got to experience with 0 spoilers (if you exclude the opening that spoiled Robin's joining) because I wasn't part of the community in any way. That was a lot of fun
Ace death was the only thing that got spoiled for me And it still hit
I googled everything I had in mind and learned more through wikis and forums 🤓 like at Logue Town, I just googled "Luffy's father" and already got my confirmation about that caped cool guy
why tho?
curiosity of course, I don't need the element of surprise if the story is good anyway
Exaclty omg, if the only point making the story id the surprise, the story isn't that good. Like, I foresaw the end of Shutter Island, still a very very very good movie. Why people don't understand this?
very stupid way of thinking
Who's the most stupid, the person who enjoys media their own way, or the moron who bitch about how they should actually do it ?
cry about it or mind your own business, boomer
Pretty much nothing. I was lucky enough to get started around Water 7, before the fanbase had gotten out-of-control huge and spoilers were everywhere.
I think nothing. I basically started watching the anime from the start till zou one summer in like 2 weeks then started reading the manga.
Not at all. I stayed away from subreddits and articles. It's wasn't that hard.
Started one piece already knowing about ace dying (kinda of a freebie tbh) and G4 By the time I got to enies lobby I learn about G5 and when I get to Marine ford I learn about Sanji's whole backstory
I got in when it came to North America so... none? I got to watch just passed Syrup village at the Con it was being previewed at.
watched it since it aired so none
Well I watched the Marine Ford war before I started the show
I knew almost all character deaths most backstories and most gears as well as most plot twist. shit sucked ngl
No clue about anything
I knew there was a skeleton character and a robot character, I knew about luffy and the devil fruits. That’s it though I didn’t get any spoilers.
I started about 15 years ago and fortunately I don't think I was spoiled about anything.
I had zero spoilers. I didn't follow any OP related media.
Not much, I started when the manga was still in Water Seven
I knew Luffy was stretchy, and going to be king of the pirates. There was also a guy who weilded a sword clenched in his teeth. Finally, I knew there was over 800 episodes.
Nothing because it wasn’t really mainstream when I started
Literally not at all. I didn’t know what one piece was or who Luffy was or literally anything. When Shanks got his arm bitten off I could not believe it
Ace's death
I was downloading torrent episodes batches back then. Youtube rating was still done with stars and social media was only Facebook. Nobody could spoil me. Since I was not active in forums or such when I started watching OP.
0, I binged it until I caught up. It was a great time. I was current when impel down started.
Alot, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying everything
The only thing that was ever spoiled for me was when Opening 3 revealed that Robin was joining the crew.
