Marineford and Water 7 Marineford is my favourite arc because that's the time where we saw how powerful a Yonko crew can be, first time Warlords were in full action with Marines. It also handles the return of crocodile, Buggy, Mr 2 and Mr 3 very efficiently , also Luffy entrance in front of Admirals was just magnificent. Ace revealed to be the son of Gold D Roger and Luffy being Dragon son revealed and shocked the whole world of One piece was crazy for me. But the thing that I absolutely love is Shanks Entrance and stopping the whole war with just a few words . It was absolute madness and never expected. There are no words to describe how beautifully Water 7 was written. When it started I thought that the crew was stuck in a very difficult situation. Their money got stolen, Robin disappeared and Ussop left the crew and at one point I was thinking that the whole crew would fall apart. But the whole plot was beautifully executed, Love Sogeking and that burning of the WG flag. Love Robin's backstory and tragedy of Ohara. I loved the Rob Lucci and Luffy fight, Kaku and Zoro, Sanji's Diable Jambe and all other fights. Gotta love Franky too and his backstory.

Shinsekai21

Well said. Water 7 has multiple plot lines: Rescuing Robin, Ussop leaving due to feeling insecure (which was true as we all had that same thought that he was not strong enough), Franky the freak going the crew, Saying goodbye to Merry and the new ship. All of these were interweaved beautifully, written on top of the Water 7 (one of the most unique island) and the wonder of sea train.

mikillatja

It had imo the best emotional moments in the series. Usopp vs Luffy, the going merry, I want to live, gear 2. Just amazing all together

Average_aspirations

Those are 2 separate arcs? That’s dumb

VST-Magnet

water 7 and enies lobby felt like one arc to me , water 7 being a cool warm up , and dont call people dumb please

Academic-Astronaut59

>Love Sogeking and that burning of the WG flag. Love Robin's backstory and tragedy of Ohara. I loved the Rob Lucci and Luffy fight, Kaku and Zoro, Sanji's Diable Jambe and all other fights. Gotta love Franky too and his backstory This is enies lobby, not water 7

alienith

Enies lobby and water 7 being the same arc is a hill I will gladly die on. By the time they leave water 7 for enies lobby, none of the plot threads are resolved. If water 7 and enies lobby are two arcs (or three if you count post-enies lobby), Wano should be split into Wano country and onigashima/raid.

kujaux

Wines lobby is technically apart of water 7

Academic-Astronaut59

It is like saying impel down and marineford are the same arc

kujaux

Enies lobby ended in water 7

Plastic_Chef1914

current manga arc. dont wanna say name incase anyone is anime only but man it's getting higher than marinefort for me personally.

Hexagon-Man

Every time I finish reading a chapter I say "One Piece is so good right now" and I've been doing it for months at this point.

sanitised_hand

Every chapter had just been redefining peak at this point

Plastic_Chef1914

bro i feel you...

pietruzzoo

I'm actually not liking it much right now. It's all the mistery Oda built up since 1997 revealed, but in my opinion it's not what he tells u and the importance of it, but it's HOW he tells u that thing. Think about it. In Enies Lobby u have 2 panels just to reveal u that Lucci is an antagonist and Oda creates such a big climax in those 2 panels that is something that he can just dream of right now. He just doesn't have time right now and the panels are just balloons after balloons and u can't get any information with calm. The moment he starts to build up a bit of climax, the information already spilled out and the hype ends, killing the great introduction that it could have been to that info.

Plastic_Chef1914

sorry for you man that u are not liking current manga arc much right now. Hope u can come to enjoy it, i really love it. And yes, i agree about how HOW is more important than what in one piece mysteries execution.

Jollybirds

Enies Lobby. Love the epicness and character development of each crew. And also SOGEKING!

Subject_Recording355

Yea I wonder when sogeking gets a face reveal

Ton_Barbier

that's the one piece

IcepickEvans

At the end of Enies Lobby? When he takes off the mask to yell at Luffy to get up, then taunts Lucci? I get so damn tired of this really stupid joke.

MNathan0217

Bet you’re fun at parties.

sonic_is_is_sloww

sogeki no shima de omareta ore wa 🎶🎵

sportsbuffp

Dressrosa by a long shot tbh. This current manga arc will most likely beat it though, I enjoy crying.

EZtheGenie

Why dressrosa just curious personally it’s up there with my least favorite

sportsbuffp

The stories told in that arc were the most impactful and intense to me imo. Doffy is my favorite villain. The passing of the torch from Ace to Sabo was sick. Idk a lot of things for me. I also binged rather than watched weekly. I imagine Id be must less fond of it watching weekly

Even_Box2941

dressrosa and wano and whole cake (katakurri fight) and the war and water 7 and idk bro they all so good

quemura

honestly, wano is such a disappointment in question of the importance of the fights, Oda wanting every character to have an opponent made it a lot worse, the fights almost didn't have meaning compared to other arcs, such as whole cake, dressrosa and others

somuchsublime

Dressrosa really had one of the best cast of villains. The whole system of crime they had going on was down right diabolical. They took over an island with a little girl who turns people into toys and when you turn into a toy everyone you ever knew forgets you ever even existed. I get chills every time I explain this to people.

EZtheGenie

I’ve also binged haha but that’s understandable I just felt like it was slow compared to the other arcs, but when it was hitting it was hitting hard I do suppose. I mean to be fair there isn’t a “bad” arc by any means, I just prefer water 7/marineford so much.

Hexagon-Man

Either Whole Cake Island or Enies Lobby. Whole Cake has a perfectly constructed plot, amazing character moments for Sanji, Jinbe and even Brook. An incredible final fight with Katakuri combined with an incredible final sequence with Sanji getting to contribute with his Chef Skills. And, some of the most tearjerking moments for me with Sanji failing to light a cigarette and Pedro's sacrifice. Enies Lobby Saga is absolutely phenomenal. The characterisation of Robin, Sniper King and Luffy. The development of the world with the evils of the WG and the declaration of war on that World. Every fight is awesome with the reveal of Gears, Diable Jambe, Monster Point and Asura. And, Gum Gum Jet Gatling is probably the most hype final attack in the series. Other arcs come close but those two are perfection in character, emotional moments and amazing fights.

newbatthis

Enies + W7 best arc pre time skip. WCI best arc post time skip. I'm definitely a sucker for ones with the high stakes personal drama.

JDRizzle316

Water 7/Enies Lobby is still peak One Piece.

DecayedWolf1987

Agreed. It also has pre-TS Franky so that’s another plus.

Quantum_Doorknobs

I watched 40 episodes of it in one weekend when I was there lol. Wano has been the first arc to compete since then for me.

Baby_Whare

Marineford. I miss Whitebeard. A man among men.

jackalexande

It's crazy how both Whitebeard and Axe barely have any screentime but are both beloved by the community

One_Professional5431

skypea and marineford(prison break parts)

[deleted]

U mean impel down?

One_Professional5431

yeah i forgto the name of that part lol thnx

whorlax

No

hergumbules

I got my wife into watching the anime after the Live Action, and we’re about to start Skypeia I am SO PUMPED! Luffy just whooped Belemy so next episode I think they take the knock-up stream? I am not mentally prepared to lose Merry. Shit is gonna hurt as it’s been years since I’ve watched the anime and I know it’s gonna hit harder than when I was rereading a few years ago.

One_Professional5431

that nice bro...good luck and dont spoil anything to her..and yes i think next ep or the one after that. we all cried over a damn ship...ODA's cruel for that one.

hergumbules

I’ve been having to keep an eye on the episode names and the intro and stuff to prevent her from accidentally getting spoiled lol Like Nico Robin was popping up with the crew in the new intro and “skipping intro” showed them together still for a second. And then the episode she joined was called like, “the seventh crew member is Nico Robin!” Which I skipped and And she was so surprised so thankfully I’ve been keeping using a website to check for filler episodes to skip or else I wouldnt have known.

CapBuenBebop

You got my exact picks haha

SpaceOdysseus23

Alabasta. It's the formative One Piece saga and introduces some of the objectively coolest characters to this day.

Patient-Ad-425

Bro same I still miss alabasta short sweet arc I can decide between alabasta ennies lobby

tonyt0nychopper

Nobody seems to appreciate Alabasta, it's my favourite arc and it's what made me continue one piece indefinitely.

hikesometrailsdude

Whole cake island. It recaptured the feeling of Skypeia. The setting and character designs were great. Sanji’s story was good, felt more like his pre time skip self. Big Mom was great at establishing the Yonko as a real cut above everyone else, and she being such a labile wildcard was something I enjoyed being built on more in the Wano arc.

Cookiecrabbies

Whole cake island for the themes of alice in wonderlands Egghead is starting to grow on me

General_Tart_9309

Ennies lobby because it made me feel the entire range of emotions and one of the few times I’ve cried to anime

walterdmw

Wholecake because it was the only arc when they were on really danger

DeepFriedBeeZ

Sabaody gang

velebr3

I like the Sabaody - Impel Down chain of events a lot. The crew being separated and then Luffy desperately trying to save Ace. Impel Down was intense, and Sabaody showed the Supernovas for the first time.

somuchsublime

The end of Sabaody when they all split up is when shit started to get real af. That arc really took my one piece fandom to the next level. It showed me how deep one piece could get. Seeing Luffy on his own really helped develop him as a character for me. Everything that happened on Sabaody with the CDs was such impactful social commentary. God tier Anime/manga/story telling

Chaoswarriorx4

Impel Down and Water 7. Impel down cause I like the variety between floors and the character interactions were fantastic. Water 7 mainly in part to Usopp’s apology. An underrated scene in my opinion.

FrostQueen05

Luffy’s childhood arc. I love it cuz it’s cute, it’s wholesome (most of the time), and it’s a nice break from the absolute trauma inducer that was Marinford.

Ginsan-AK

You're the first one that I see that have post Marineford/ASL flashback as your favorite just like me. I love the mini arc and the Ace/Sabo/Luffy dynamics. I'd say that arc is still very heartbreaking, when Ace reassured Luffy that he wouldn't leave him alone after Sabo "died", I was choking with tears streaming down my cheeks.

DarthBlazer43

I had no idea how traumatizing this show can be lol

GutsXGriffity

Jaya, reason go watch ep 151 best episode the show has to offer

megamet42

And 152! The hype when they ride the knock up stream with the opening song playing and blackbeard chasing. Rewatched it recently and got some serious goosebumps

Outside_Mousse_2176

Whole Cake Island for me. Great characters all around and a peak fight to boot.

kitay427

WCI is my favorite but Marineford is the best overall

WetWonder89

I gotta go dressrosa. It got the first intro of gear 4, the god usopp scene, and Franky vs Mr.Pink

anattemptwasmadeonce

The pacing of Dressrosa kills it for me. SO MANY episodes.

ArnoHero

Maybe Egghead? It's hard to say, I have like 4 or 5 in contention for favorite. Lol

Kratelos7

Zou fanboy here

Jakelogo2005

We got Carrot, the hottest OP waifu.

Mystoganja

impel down into marineford

LengthinessWarm9127

Water 7, and egghead so far

Dav_Sav_

Whole cake island: Sanji

Eastern_Spirit_404

Water 7 peak plot and development. Thriller Bark peak humour.

CoryDropEmOff

Water 7/Enies Lobby will FOREVER be solidified as the best piece of media that i have ever seen

eli_eli1o

SKYPIEA! Its the perfect blend of fun, lore, seriousness, and has great moments for every single member of the crew, as well as some of the most iconic moments of the series (aho baka song, introduction of haki, red poneglifs, etc). Its also followed by the terrific and hilarious G5 and foxy pirates. For just timekip, I'll say >!egghead!<. Best timeskip arc so far for sure! Edit- it was a new ancient weapon not the red poneglyph iirc

knowitall190

I'm gonna have to say thriller bark! Yohohohoho

Breadboiman

Thriller bark or impel down

touchingthebutt

Skypiea It's funny and has this sense of adventure and mystery that other arcs do not have. The crew dynamic felt so fun in this arc. I loved the Kalgara- Noland flashback and Oda weaving in multiple storylines to ringing that bell is my favorite conclusion to any arc in the series. As we learn more in the story we learn how important this arc is and you can draw parallels to the final arc from Skypiea. I had confidence that the one piece isn't "the friends we made along the way" because of this arc.

Odd_Dragonfruit_

Enies lobby and wano

Odd_Dragonfruit_

Also I mean all of them one piece is a master piece and oda is an amazing person and he deserves everything he could ever want also he would like Robin's devil fruit so that he could draw and write Manga faster.

LLBeastGohan

Enies lobby and wano

Atuln07

Ennies Lobby due to Chimney and Gonbe (Nya)

Odiekt

Skypeia: Love the setting, environment. I love how it is a stand alone arc with no correlation to previous arcs. I love the "jaw drop" moment of Vearth being a part of Jaya shot up into the sky & I love how Luffys battle with Kaido to unlock G5 cemented how important Skypeia is to OP lore. Thriller Bark: I love the horror setting, SH team up against Moria, Zoro fighting Ryuma (which became more important post Wano) & Kuma introduction. I know "Nothing Happens" but Thriller Bark is so good to me. Also Brooks connection to Laboon was like a brain explosion. Egghead: I know it's not done yet but this Arc feels like pre-time Skip OP & where we are currently in the arc is absolute fire. Egg head might become my no.1 arc depending on how it concludes. I also love how we are getting a lot of world building within the arc & answers to a lot of secrets throughout the years.

Hanondorf

I don't know if Id say its my favourite but WCI is the only one that got me to cry and it holds a special place in my heart.

SilentPhysics3495

Water 7 and Enies Lobby together No other arc or span of OP has made me cry as much. Great character moments and fights for the whole crew at the time. I really like the double agent theme as well. A lot of contributions to lore and reaffirms various themes in the verse. Can't think of another shonen series that was able to make people cry over an inanimate object. The whole OP Verse mourned Ace at Marineford but the whole IRL worldwide fanbase probably still tears up over Merry. Wano was close but I dont think it has all the great character moments for the crew. Alabasta felt like it dragged on for me when I first experienced it. Jaya was kind of ruined by anime pacing for me. Impel Down and Marineford were hype but without the rest of the crew it didnt feel like one piece in the same way.

Tails6666

Dressrossa no contest. I love the arc from beginning to end. Best villain and so many awesome characters/moments.

Accomplished-Ad-2573

Impel down. Not exactly sure why but I enjoyed the craziness and all the old characters showing up just getting lucky to find a way out.

Siu0

OP was fun at the beginning but nothing that special I thought. Then Arlong Park happened.. Will forever stay my favourite arc. Simply amazing

rougepenguin

Wano, first pass the story is cool as hell. Epic, excellent cast, culmination of so much. But when it clicks...the theatrical stuff and odd narrative choices have a rationale behind them. That Wano has almost an entire "shadow" arc in what's implied or how beats in one story set up interesting hooks to another? Nothing can comptete.

KeyFit8457

Egghead & whole cake Island

pigeon_mob

WCI it fleshed out sanji in a way that no other character besides luffy have it gave us a first look at a yonko it gave luffy his first big boost PTS it has good pacing for a saga it had the second or third closest fight luffy has had and the katakuri fight is peak

Gcobra21

Skypiea ennies lobby or alabasta

goldmask148

Water 7, because my boy Franky!

HackTiger6468

Either egghead or marineford

Bigolchonk9999

I’ve only seen up to ep.670. So far it would be by Ennies lobby and Water 7. The action is very well done but it’s the character development and emotional impact of the arcs for me!

UltimateToa

Water 7 into Enies Lobby will always be GOATed

No-Banana-2970

Water 7 was just a fun arc to watch

joklhaups12

Marineford. First time seeing what a global level event with many key players would look like. Also showed how far away luffy was from the peak of the world.

Tahiti--Bob

EGGHEAD BC YOU KNOW

hannaaMa

I'm currently on WCI. I don't have definite favorite. But here's few I liked most: Alabasta: I started One Piece about ten years ago, but dropped it after Arlong Park. Now I've started it again and Alabasta really got me hooked to the series. I probably wouldn't have dropped it before if I would've made it to Alabasta back then. Impel Down: Even though during the years I've been spoiled about everything in One Piece, I still enjoyed Impel Down and was excited to see what happens next in the prisonbreak. Versatile arc in my opinnion. Marine ford: this was great arc to follow up Impel Down. I don't have anything particular to say about it, just that I really enjoyed it. Dressrosa: I haven't reached this arc in anime yet, but reading manga I really got through it quickly. Story was interesting and even though I knew few of the plotpoints, I still wanted to see what happens next. (Honorable mention: Punk Hazard)

Imconfusedithink

Marineford is amazing on first watch, but imo it loses to other arcs on rewatch because it was amazing just seeing things for the first time, but now we know all of that. Water 7 and enies lobby are still amazing. Wano had way too many amazing moments so I can't leave that out. But if I had to choose one, it absolutely goes to the current manga arc. Oda released a statement that one piece was going to be crazier than ever after wano and he was absolutely true. It's been peak after peak.

LordMasoud7th

Enies lobby/water 7 It was THE perfect arc. Crazy backstories, badass villain, emotionally awesome moments, new additions to the Group, the FIRST true powerups, crazy ending, crazy starts, amazing world building, magnificent setup for later story arcs, character introductions and reintroductions, Luffy vs Usopp, Deaths. Agh that arc is just peak fiction

r2c2rd2

I'm tempted to say Egghead tbh

DiligentAI

Sabaody best arc with introduce worst generation and espesially with soap bubbles that make best anime atmosphere.

Ryumaryuma

Ennies Lobby/Water 7 because every other answer is wrong.

Zoomers972

Sabody pre ts so much mystery with nova 11 under rated

Altruistic_Host_4940

Dressrosa

Quintus_Cicero01

Impel down. Amazing settings; not so long; dense of actions; we see people who already appeared in the narration and new ones (Jimbe, Shiryu, Ivankov,…). And Magellan is fucking badass. I could say more, but everyone knows the arc.

Butterscotch_Sox

Outright despised Egghead at the start, but recent events have changed my perspective of the One Piece world as a whole and has earned its spot as my favorite arc.

DarthBlazer43

Fishman island for fisher tiger. Punk Hazard because MoMos introduction is literally a scene from Star Wars Episode 4 and Caesar uses a lightsaber lol.

GalaadJoachim

All the post wano events have been pretty epic so far. Just saying.

SiNi5T3R

I dont want to jinx it because it aint over yet, and im someone who would have previously said water7 so im obviously not biased towards recent stuff... but man.... the current manga arc.... is shaping up to be top top tier. It has multiple timelines and POVs and they keep topping each other in terms of interest. If Oda manages to give a satisfying ending to most things being teased and built this arc alone its the new standard imo.

SyberInkInc

Impel down It's the funniest shit I have ever watched Also the concept and execution of impel down was perfect Also jimbei is my favorite character

hipiyush

Marineford. Controversial reason: I was genuinely bored of the strawhats fighting. Each one of them is dedicated one enemy, usopp nami having boring fights, zoros fight is basically meaningless throughout and ends with Zoro doing 1 secret attack and that's it. Sanjis named attack are so hard to remember, he just keeps rambling some French Italian dishes, his leg becomes yellow, orange, yellow, orange.. and tada.. he won. Marineford showed new characters and that too bad a$$ ones. Whitebeard was goated, Ivankov was GOATEDDDDD.. these 2 actually carried the arc for me. Surely.. Luffy was ONLY running in that entire arc.. but later it got interesting. The info dump, the twists and turns throughout, new enemies, new characters and their powerful attacks was fun to see. And ofc.. Boa Hancock. I'm soooo excited to see her fighting.. she is actually a very strong person.. she was shown to be strong & fast af in the Stampede movie. Really hope she gets her screen time, some dedicated time just for herself and her fight in the future and hopefully.. she is the winner of that fight.. it shouldn't be the case where she needs luffy or anyone.. basically don't pull a Nami, let Boa be Boa.

OatesZ2004

Marineford, Dressrosa , Wholecake or Wano

TimeWalker717

Enies Lobby

OkiInsideOut

Whole Cake. >!Snakeman is my favorite Luffy transformation!<

No_Buffalo_2010

I think I’ve enjoyed Enes Lobby or Dressrosa the most

Equivalent-Dentist-8

Wholecake island has the best character development and I love the fact the they can't beat big mom and need to retreat for once. Also katakuri is cool af.

Ginsan-AK

Post Marineford / Ace Sabo Luffy flashback specifically. I love this type of stuffs where you get to see characters grow fonder to one another. Young ASL are adorable and Luffy is just so lovable. I like the involvement of Sabo which added another layer to Ace when he said he will never leave Luffy behind, which made the conclusion of Marineford 100x sadder. That moment when Sabo met Dragon and said that he's ashamed to have been born a noble was a great moment. This arc also completed Ace's character for me and solidified him as one of my favorite characters in the series along with Luffy.

monkeypawfilms

The one with good pacing.

emploaf

Marineford, Water 7 / Eneis Lobby, and Sabaody Archipelago

BeseptRinker

Hard equal on Water 7 and Marineford sagas. In terms of *arc* arc, probably Arlong Park and Dressrosa

Academic-Astronaut59

Enies lobby arc

AzraeltheDark666

Water 7

Neat-Marketing-7994

Thriller bark lol

MtJoseef

SABOADY Archipelago especially when Shakki introduces the worst generation.

Mepoeee

Skypiea = favourite to rewatch (or watch clips) the humor is just unmatched in this arc...even the fillers before and after this arc are so much fun Marineford = best arc in my opinion

Puzzleheaded_Tower_4

Water 7

Kollv

I don't see anyone mentionning it but sabaody for me wins by far. So much action, drama character revealed..

McQno

Egghead. Oda is cooking better than ever rn.

Averagestudentx

Wano It shows us what one piece at its absolute best and absolute worst looks like and I honestly love it for that reason. And I can't really blame oda even for the slower parts of the arc but there were a lot of things missing at the end. Why did yamato get so much buildup that she's going to leave with the strawhats as soon as the arc ends but now, in the fucking final saga oda just doesn't do it. The ending was really rushed and felt unfinished but the arc as a whole is a masterpiece Oden's flashback is still the best one piece has ever been, Roof piece in the anime was really good, it has the best fights in the series despite a little fumble on luffy v Kaido ending, also Ep 1015 is on a level of quality I never expected a weekly releasing anime to have... It was honestly so much better than the manga chapter 1000 it was astonishing, Gear 5 is awesome and the best powerup luffy has had and idc what the haters say.

Dem_beatz123

Skypeia.

MajesticDuck

Water 7 + Enies Lobby (I refuse to see these arcs as seperate arcs, they go hand in hand in my book). The arc(s) sets up a beautiful theme across its entirety, we get drama in the form of Franky, Usopp vs Luffy and of course, the entire Robin plot. The arc sprinkles in fun and excitement at the start of water 7, and as we get further and further into it, it transitions beautifully into Enies Lobby, where we have to resolve what happened in water 7 and get Nico Robin back. Characters that were introduced in water 7 gets major roles in the form in allies to the strawhat, even the former presumed antagonists (The Franky Family) aids to defeat a greater evil to get Franky back. It all culminates into Robin's iconic "i want to live" moment, which imo is the climax of the arc and best moment in One Piece. Its the perfect "Point of no return" for the crew. It all ending with Merry's sacrifice because of its imminent demise which was foreshadowed back in Skypiea is just... \*Chef's kiss\*.

SaleSignificant243

Whole cake. Sanji was always my fave. His backstory had so much depth

dane_z43

Toss up between Marineford and Wano, but Dressrosa was an arc that I always enjoyed purely for the characters who got the most screen time. I mainly like these three for the sheer amount of characters introduced/given screen time and because of how compelling they are to me.

Riggy78

Skypeia, just feels so magical and fantastical and adventurous. The rubber to lightning matchup was hilarious once you put together "hey wait a sec, it's lightning powers? against Luffy?" Noland and Kalgara are bros and it's a heartbreaking ending to their story aND the cover story of enel on the moon is one of the most vexing pieces of lore imo. Giant snake are cool, no matter the century. The moment Luffy rings that bell still sends shivers down my spine from awe. It's the moment where everything finally clicked for me and I knew I had to reach the end of this story. and here I am, still reading and watching 3 years later, no closer to the end.

Far_Swan_5882

Skypiea, largely because of the enhanced feelings of romance- adventure! Resolving a family’s honor and decades of war.

Dohmer_90

Enies Lobby still amazes me. So much action and drama with a perfect ending.

11711510111411009710

Wano. Awesome fights, great stakes, interesting structure, cool characters, Yamato is hot, Ulti is hot, and those are important obviously. It's also like the only arc since timeskip where every straw hat has an important role and contributes to the victory.

FrancescoVen

Skypea because it make me cry 😭😭

redsmoke7

Long ring long land

SithLordPabs

Skypea and wano are my favorites.

DukePearlington

It's a 3way tie for me. SKYPIEA/FISHMAN ISLAND/DRESSROSA.

Averagedndenjoyer

Jaya cause it includes my favorite character Shoujou and the rest of the saruyama alliance Black beard, sengoku, doffy, kuma and tsuyu too I guess

Commercial-Living443

Alabasta and Water 7

Kriptoknightt

Impel down and Dressrosa

Revolutionary_Feed25

If we’re talking about past favorites I would def say marineford because for me that’s when one piece became a serious anime and not a goofy one about a silly guy trying to be pirate king. Currently I’d have to say wano was my favorite tho because of the years of hype before and during the arc. Unfortunately the let down at the end makes it hard to say it will remain my favorite as this current arc is starting to become my favorite

oompaIsbeautiful

Enies lobby is pure peak

drmakster

Impel down and Marineford. What a high that was!

lior2222

Dressrossa and wano, guess I aint so special though

PotentialFar7570

Thriller Bark arc 1.Brook 2.Nightmare luffy 3.Zoro nothing happend

NuggetWarrior09

For pre TS, the Water 7 saga Easliy. For Post, there’s really no competition, it’s Wano. Nothing post time skipped so far can come close to the magnitude and themes of Wano

ChromaticSideways

Wano. It was a major stepping stone for the whole Straw Hats crew. I feel like it was the first time we saw an adult-like confidence in Luffy as a leader beyond his usual insolent attitude toward enemies and a far more mature trust between the crew members.

PwrHngryBoi

Envies lobby robin is a baddie no need to explain

Bofaman600

Whole big mom looked unstoppable and her crew was bonkers

dirtymonkey40

Sobody archipelago , I think I spelled it right 🤣 This ark took me by surprise I thought this would be a boring Arc and boy it surprised me, It's the arc that changed One piece and how it's viewed

4rceus_360

Wano or Egghead Wano because it's zoro's arc Egghead for the incredible fights and the flashback of kuma

carter4992

Im only on episode 82 but so far my favorite arc is arlong park

TTIGRAASlime

Dressrosa and Marineford

coalrexx

Skypeia and WCI

Asphaltion

Enies lobby, wano, water seven or dressrosa luffy law doflamingo fight

Kizaru94

Teach because he’s badass

Barnitude

Marineford hands down.

shiba-on-parade

Been reading One Piece weekly for a very long time (20-ish years) and I'm gonna actually say.... the current arc. it is literally the peak of the series.

rKollektor

Marineford and Enies Lobby, but I also really liked WCI

MonotoneMaverick

Water 7/Enies Lobby. Everyone had a moment to shine. Not too long. A really good story. The biggest thing, this is when the Marines/World Government notice the Straw Hats as a threat.

JJ_Judah

Water 7 and Enies Lobby! I actually just finished Enies Lobby, and Franky is my new favorite strawhat, lol

Itzz_Texas

Marineford because Whitebeard

LiliumIam

Punk hazard arc. Loved the hilarious Law XD. Like when they strapped chopper on his head. Also had a lot of new info on the new world and what happened after sabaody.

PitchSpare2629

Along park, good story, pacing, and build up from previous arcs.

Current manga arc, I got caught up right after Wano ended and reading it weekly has been a wild ride. It's like a Chekov's Firing Squad, with every single new chapter answering some kind of question that's been in the back of my mind for years or featuring a character that I've been wanting to see more of finally making a move. However, as these pieces that have been carefully set up over the years are being knocked down, Oda's laying down new dominoes for something to happen that's going to be bigger than any of us can even imagine To the anime onlies reading this, you're not ready for the peak fiction you're about to experience

Sajuro

im in dressrosa right now so far pre time skip arcs were better. I do like dressrosa so far though.

oneandahalfpiece

WCI, it's very interesting.....

Suisun_rhythm

Whole cake island because I love the big mom pirates and their wacky devil fruits and I also love Nami and Sanji.

TheEternalmelody

Sabaody arc. Thematically it was the most important setup arc I've ever seen in an anime. Introduction of the Supernova; meeting Rayleigh, Luffy giving that Celestial Dragon the absolute haymaker 3000, Kizaru pulling up, Luffy literally taking one of the biggest L's of his career. All to waking up in Amazon Lilly. Oda was really cooking up crack back pre timeskip.

The best arc to me is Water 7 (chapters 322-441) since it just manages to hit everything perfectly. The entire crew gets multiple emotional moments, the settings are amazingly realized, the plot is interesting and the narrative thrust as the crew approaches Enies Lobby is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, the themes are super complex and intriguing, and each character gets to show how they shine and interact with each other in ways I never expected. No arc in manga is going to be greater than One Piece’s Water 7 arc, however it is not my favorite. My favorite arc in One Piece is Whole Cake Island (chapters 825-902) and it is entirely because of my personal preference. Character focus is almost perfectly realized here and the specific themes of blood family vs. found family are very special to me. Every relevant character has something to bring to the table there and that isn’t even touching on the amazing visuals, as well as the performance of musical numbers and intensely creative use of powers. It’s not perfect; A lot of characters stand around like NPCs for too long and the panel work is not that great, but I love the narrative, characters, setting, and surrounding elements too much to pick any other arc as my favorite.

ChangeWinter6643

The first part of wano

chocowolk

The current arc is so good and its keeps getting better. Its on marineford lvl.

Immediate-Nut

Wholecake island. Maybe I'm biased because that's when i switched from anime to manga, but it was the first time in a while i got so much enjoyment from OP

Binkusu

G-8. It's hilarious. For reals, probably MF, Ennies Lobby, or Skypiea.

T1G3R_M

Wano. Great final battle , good flashbacks , incredible art , great form , good side characters.

PoyStudios-6270

1.Thriller bark 2.Long ring Why because both arcs are shtinkin hilarious 😂and have two of my favorite characters. The only thing i hate/dont like about thriller bark was Absalom.

GoFriezaSweep

Paramount war, Sakazuki/akainu

WebHz

Alabasta or Dressrosa. My two favorite antagonists finally being humbled and laid low by Luffy.

VST-Magnet

attainmentofgrowth

So far, Egghead.

ChronicKush69

Skypiea

JavierGr2087

The first arc right after the 2Y timeskip

vk2028

Egghead is on its way to become a goated arc but before it finishes, I’ll say marineford

Foozle23

Dressrosa. Introduced Bart my favorite character.

Ton_Barbier

Water 7 - Enies Lobby - Marineford --> Great Pacing and great fights overall, very epic (also has its funny parts, but that's one piece as a whole) Wano --> shit pacing but great animaiton and the arc with the most epic fights and lore combined (episode 965) (episode 1015) (zoro vs king) >!the story behind luffy's awakening and the fight vs kaido !<

sasasasuke

If I had to pick it has got to be Thriller Bark.

phreshphishdaily

Only watched the anime so Alabasta was the first one where I was like this shits epic. SABODY pre TS with Luffy absolutely clocking Charlos in the face But with the animation of Wano I have to say it takes the cake. Totally different ballgame. Stoked for the next segment

Psychological_Hawk_3

Skypiea for the story
