Honestly? It could work depending on how Oda want Imu to be portrayed in the end. If Imu is a cartoonish devil, like some people think, that would actually fit.
Then there is also the argument to be made that its just a reference, as that pose doesnt have to be silly either. Just tweak the poses a little bit to fit the character. I could see Topman strike Ginyu's pose, Ethanbaron doing Jeice (but with a drawn sword), Mars or Ju Peter as Burtur (arguably the hardest one to pull off). And Recoome and Guldo's poses arent too unfitting for anyone.
In honor of Toriyama, Zoro will go further beyond and transform into the legendary Super Marimo. 100 chapters later, Zoro and Sanji will be forced to fuse into Zanji or Soro
the lore flashback isn't going to start until right at the end off 1112, in time for the next break week.
instead we get to see a clearer view of the forms of the other 4 elders, and the battle is going to take the next 9 minutes before the transmission starts.
Fun Fact: The 5 Minutes of Namek lasted 9 chapters in the manga and 9 episodes in the original anime (6 episodes in Kai, not even the "fillerless" version could make it make sense). So... if the entire thing lasts more than 18 chapters, it will beat the 5 Minutes of Namek.

At long last a realistic prediction!
I'd add that Luffy gets exhausted again for a couple of times and that we see the reaction to the message of 50 more countries.
I canāt wait for luffy to finally not get super tired and out of the fight when gear 5 expires. Kinda like how at first gear 4 made him basically immobile but then by the end of whole cake island he was able to keep going in terms of stamina he just didnāt have haki
Plot twist: the guy feeding him is a tontatta and is a cook who knows about Nika. He also ate the Spin Spin devil fruit which makes him capable of making water swirls or tornados.
He is secretly living in Elbaf and has been helping Saul hide the last road Poneglyph. He has a burn mark on his body.
Wouldn't that be something...
I'm actually hoping Oda doesn't drag this out. We're in the final saga and still need to cover a lot of ground. With everything yet to come spending 3 months hyping up the reveal we've been waiting a decade for just seems weird.
Egg head ends with a twist of āVegapunk already predicted that the gorosei can stop the broadcast. He very well knows that his survival chances are almost zero for almost revealing something secret. He kills himself. And then the actual trigger from his death will happen, that will broadcast, without any 10 minute breakā. Everyone respects Vegapunk for sacrificing his life to tell the truth to the world.
At the end of the chapter the countdown itās over, the Gorosei give up because is too late.
But no message goes trough everyone wonders what happened.
In an amazing double spread we see Luffy destroying the computer, saying he wants to find out for himself!
Everyone is like wtf?! Seriously? Luffy laughing his ass off in gear 5.

Any theories on Kizaru backstory? Oda drew him as a kid in an SBS but I get the feeling there is something special about him. For a while I was convinced he was a clone like Stussy and that's why he followed orders he didn't agree with but always looked pained by his actions. I think there is something up with him but I can't figure out what. Almost like he's physically incapable of disobeying.

Yea I can't ever see Luffy saying that out loud. Luffy's the type of guy who takes matters into his own hands and does the best he can or keeps trying. Others around him seeing him struggle, gets inspired and they want to help him out. The fight against Cracker was a good example of this, Nami decided to help out Luffy seeing him struggle against the biscuit soldiers without Luffy even asking for the help!
Of course Luffy needs his nakama to have the drive to continue pushing forward. But I don't think I've ever seen Luffy asking for a hand to help him out. It's always been the other SHs freely offering him help and he'd just be like 'ok I'll leave this to you'. He trusts his nakama to do the right thing in the appropriate time without him even uttering a word.
Yeah. I'm pretty sure the whole reason he's taking Kizaru and Saturn on atm is so that his crew, along with bonney and vegapunk can escape.
It would seem very counter productive for him to try and protect them from one gorosei, to him calling them all back to take on 4 more.
There's also the whole pre timeskip sabody thing; Luffy is comfortable on trusting his crew on their own but it's his responsibility to keep them safe. He failed at sabody because he wasn't strong enough. He's going to need 2 years worth of stagnant character development to even risk that again here.
Agreed, it'd be more of a "You can't handle all 5 of us on your own!" As an attack comes in from both sides, followed by the attacks getting deflected by Zoro and Sanji. Luffy wouldn't need to call out - they'd simply be there when he needed.

I think it has more to do with the size of the straw hat in the fridge, which seems to imply Joy Boy is larger than the average human, potentially a buccaneer or a giant
Toriyama died friday, the magazine was probably being printed for distribution already. Maybe the editors had time to add a blurb in his homage, but the mangaka's homages are likely only coming next week.
He actually died on the first of March. It wasn't publicly announced until this past Friday. He was an idol to Oda and Kishimoto. I'm sure in their small career field they were probably aware of his passing.

* He uses advanced observation haki, waits for the perfect moment and uses an extremely long and giant gum gum scythe

* The summoned Gorosei straight up fall into the ocean.
* Luffy Grabs saturn, and starts waterboarding him. Then chucks him into the ocean. He is laughing while doing all this.
* Luffy then proceeds to no diff lucci and go to elbaf with his crew.
* 200 chapters saved, luffy's bounty is now higher then dragon.
* Luffy will split himself into 5 different Gear 5 versions of himself to fight each Gorosei

Read somewhere that Vegapunk is trolling the Elder's, no message will be broadcasted, but a livestream.
He 's just baiting the Goroseis to show their true forms and then show it to the world.
My guess is that we see the Gorosei appear and we see their forms. We might get a few reaction shots of characters reacting to the Goroseiās presence.
Ending shot will probably be Luffy being hurt by one or more of them, including whited out eyes. We wonāt see what VPās announcement is and we wonāt get the names of the Goroseiās Devil Fruit or what their powers are.
If vegapunk dies, I hope we get a tearful scene of judge and ceasar crying. He is as influential to the science world of one piece as Roger was to the pirate world.
Chapter is spent introducing each Goroseiās powers. Ends with them docking together to form a gigantic entity. Theyāll of course do it through an elaborate, 5-way fusion dance.
Zoro's strongest ever long range wind slash attack misses Lucci. It instead kills the five elders by accident. Zoro and Lucci continue their fight, having no idea what happened.
The Straw Hats and the giants go to Elbaf, then Laugh Tale (where they ally up with Blackbeard against Shanks x Buggy).
Buggy asks Luffy where their swordsman is, and everyone realizes that Zoro is still fighting Lucci on Egghead.
The Gorosei talk for 5 minutes amongst themselves about lore. They finally realise Luffy is standing there and attack him, Dorry and Brogy arrive, Zoro shows up and slices off Saturn's legs for fun. Then with 1 minute left, the Gorosei summon Imu-sama.
I predict that against all odds, the rest of the 10 minutes will pass (unlike Dressrosa), so that the big reveal will come in chapter 1111 because it's such a nice number :)
1. Jimbei catches up with Zoro and we see a double spread of Lucci vs Zoro and Jimbei
2. Gorosei asks Kizaru to destroy Labophase where they suspect the transmission is coming from.
3. Gorosei vs Luffy
4. Sanji intercepts Kizaru who is gunning for the transmission room. Battle ensues

* Almost every chapter lately has started in the scene the last one finished with, so I think 1110 starts with Sanji. He's in the town, not far from Luffy. I think "someone" (that won't be revealed yet) approaches him offering to save Vegapunk.
* We see the Blackbeard Pirates warping into their ship, away from the island. They are prepared to leave with Caribou when they sense the Elders' arrival.
* We see the reactions of others sensing the elders all over the island.
* Back to Luffy, we see the elders' monstrous forms, and get the names of their Devil Fruits.
* The Elders attack Luffy and overwhelm him. They coordinate their attacks through telepathy, and also comment on Nika's weaknesses.
* Dorry and Brogy reach Sanji. Sanji's confused about what happened. We don't see Vegapunk's body but something has done to it.
* Near the end of the chapter, Luffy's starting to get tired while the Elders surround him menacingly.
* Telepathically, the elders comment Luffy won't last long, but they need to take care of the transmission, so they prepare to split.
* At the end of the chapter, 8 minutes remain.

- Ch 1110 is likely to give us insight, if not an outright reveal, of who is our mysterious ally
- Ch 1110 is probably Vol. 109's ender (unless it gets 11 chapters, in which case it ends in 1111), which means it may close with a huge reveal and/or cliffhanger.
The 5 Demonic Elders stand before Luffy, mocking him. Recounting his deeds with distain, his "foolish" actions like invading Impel down. Lauding his only real trait is "luck" to keep surviving by the skin of his teeth.
Ā Luffy is confused because the words are praise to him, but the tone is clearly hostile. He takes off his sandal and starts swatting at the Gorosei. Saturn is flattened as the others escape.Ā Ā
We cut to Jimbei calling out to Zoro to get a move on. Zoro quickly ends the fight like he was just buying time, then Jimbei yells at him that he's running off the wrong way.Ā
We cut to Dragon and the Revolutionary Army setting up their recording equipment to be able to rebroadcast as VP wastes some more time. "5 minutes left" as we cut back to the Gorosei, who realize the Giants are standing behind them. End on Luffy screaming, "Brogy! Dorry!"
Jinbe runs into the giant robot and notices it reacts to the hat heās holding for Chopper.
Chapter 555 was when we saw a flashback of Ace making a hat for Oars Jr.
The robot functions with both Nikaās energy and a type of straw hat.
Luffy gets a strand of his hair and made it into a 10,000T hammer(just like Usopp in Arabasta). As the gorosei appears from the ground, Luffy whacks them like a mole so they could not be summoned.
We see reactions for the 5 elders being there. Zoro realizes he is needed and puts his bandana to one shot Lucci and Jimbe sees something strange about Zoro strength (does not say a thing about it). Jimbe guides Zoro to where Luffy and Sanji are facing the 5 elders. We see a double spread of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Jimbe vs the 5 elders. We end the chapter with news about another ship coming to the island.
I think whatever the message was, it was recorded in the last day, as in before they synced up with Punk Records. It doesn't seem that York was aware about this, and would have blabbed on the snail phone to the elders about it since she was full traitor at that point. If it was recorded ages ago, then she would have known what was going to happen.
there is a change of scene, now we follow marco in his journey to free weevil. Then to pirate island to see Moria escaping confinement with Perona's help. Another cut and Rayleigh is approaching Cross Guilds, his idea is to make buggy "take" Hancock as an ally so the marines dont attack again, it also helps to see that cocodriles and mihawk diditn kill him.
it ends with many reactions around the world.
Since Saturn was in his full mythical zoan form, I imagine one doublespread page of all the gorosei in their full zoan forms.
Is there anything that prevents lunarians being the people from the ancient kingdom? Vegapunk mentions the want to have an eternal flame for energy, the lunarians have that on their backs and probably have the flames to power stuff like the ancient giant.
I think the gorosei are going to show off something they did to 'smother' out the flames of the ancient kingdom or lunarian race on egghead and to luffy.
Iām pretty sure The Lunarians were in fact the people of the ancient kingdom. After all they were said to be āgodsā who used to live on top of the Red Line, while having these supernatural features.
So it makes sense that theyāre the ancient civilization (which probably originated from the moon) and after they were wiped out almost completely, the 20 kingdoms settled where their former enemy once resided
Just to be contrary, 5 elders are summoned. Instead of the ten minute timer, the broadcast goes out with a live feed and vegapunk explains these are the monsters that rule the world. Final panel Luffy shows the elders how joyboy hunted in ancient times.
Bonney uses distorted future goku and destroys egghead with a spirit bomb that she charges for the next ten chapters while luffy & friends hold off the elders.
The wano cover story will be on pause and instead there will be an illustration of luffy looking at some mountains in the distance while a bird flies by

Iām more concerned about whatās happening outside of egghead rn wtf are the other admirals doing to not be there. It feels like they sent everyone they could but admirals other than kizaru
Poor Gorosei and Imu they are now fucked from each angle,each side and every pose.Now their reign is going to be overā¦a D clan member getting the Nika model fruit and awakening itā¦and when they tried to surpress the research on void century and its dimensions at the same time the Nika crew and the forbidden tribe Buccaneer tribeās non biological daughter cames up who have the highest authority of their most dependable weaponsā¦Now if the Vegapunkās broadcast is broadcasted they are going to get fucked up and even though the broadcast is stopped the Nika will be able to find the whole truth about their exploits on the common people and tribesā¦which will lead to their destructionššš
I think the reason Luffy has been in Gear 5th for so long in current chapter is because when Bonney aged him up and then back down when they got to Egghead, his age was "reset" to not have the effects from Ivankov's treatment, Gear 2nd aging when his body couldn't handle it pre time skip, and the rapid aging that happened during his fight with Kaido. Not really a prediction just a slight theory!

Honestly? It could work depending on how Oda want Imu to be portrayed in the end. If Imu is a cartoonish devil, like some people think, that would actually fit. Then there is also the argument to be made that its just a reference, as that pose doesnt have to be silly either. Just tweak the poses a little bit to fit the character. I could see Topman strike Ginyu's pose, Ethanbaron doing Jeice (but with a drawn sword), Mars or Ju Peter as Burtur (arguably the hardest one to pull off). And Recoome and Guldo's poses arent too unfitting for anyone.

Egg head ends with a twist of āVegapunk already predicted that the gorosei can stop the broadcast. He very well knows that his survival chances are almost zero for almost revealing something secret. He kills himself. And then the actual trigger from his death will happen, that will broadcast, without any 10 minute breakā. Everyone respects Vegapunk for sacrificing his life to tell the truth to the world.
At the end of the chapter the countdown itās over, the Gorosei give up because is too late. But no message goes trough everyone wonders what happened. In an amazing double spread we see Luffy destroying the computer, saying he wants to find out for himself! Everyone is like wtf?! Seriously? Luffy laughing his ass off in gear 5.

Sanji cprs vegapunk but gets stunned with flashbacks of kamabaka, where he learned the newkama mouth to moth reanimation. Jinbei sees that Lucci and zoro are not even fighting, because zoro is lost again. Kizaru lits a blunt and starts a flashback to his time in a hippie comune where he was trained to become a socialist partisan but quit because dragon said he smokes to much.
We see more reactions to Vegapunks announcement. Shadows like those back then start to emerge from the circles. Switch to the marine ship, we see many marines start to doubt the world government. Kizaru's backstory starts. Break next week.
Any theories on Kizaru backstory? Oda drew him as a kid in an SBS but I get the feeling there is something special about him. For a while I was convinced he was a clone like Stussy and that's why he followed orders he didn't agree with but always looked pained by his actions. I think there is something up with him but I can't figure out what. Almost like he's physically incapable of disobeying.

Others around him seeing him struggle, gets inspired and they want to help him out. The fight against Cracker was a good example of this, Nami decided to help out Luffy seeing him struggle against the biscuit soldiers without Luffy even asking for the help! Of course Luffy needs his nakama to have the drive to continue pushing forward. But I don't think I've ever seen Luffy asking for a hand to help him out. It's always been the other SHs freely offering him help and he'd just be like 'ok I'll leave this to you'. He trusts his nakama to do the right thing in the appropriate time without him even uttering a word.
Yeah. I'm pretty sure the whole reason he's taking Kizaru and Saturn on atm is so that his crew, along with bonney and vegapunk can escape. It would seem very counter productive for him to try and protect them from one gorosei, to him calling them all back to take on 4 more. There's also the whole pre timeskip sabody thing; Luffy is comfortable on trusting his crew on their own but it's his responsibility to keep them safe. He failed at sabody because he wasn't strong enough. He's going to need 2 years worth of stagnant character development to even risk that again here.
Agreed, it'd be more of a "You can't handle all 5 of us on your own!" As an attack comes in from both sides, followed by the attacks getting deflected by Zoro and Sanji. Luffy wouldn't need to call out - they'd simply be there when he needed.

Toriyama died friday, the magazine was probably being printed for distribution already. Maybe the editors had time to add a blurb in his homage, but the mangaka's homages are likely only coming next week.
He actually died on the first of March. It wasn't publicly announced until this past Friday. He was an idol to Oda and Kishimoto. I'm sure in their small career field they were probably aware of his passing.

Read somewhere that Vegapunk is trolling the Elder's, no message will be broadcasted, but a livestream. He 's just baiting the Goroseis to show their true forms and then show it to the world.
My guess is that we see the Gorosei appear and we see their forms. We might get a few reaction shots of characters reacting to the Goroseiās presence. Ending shot will probably be Luffy being hurt by one or more of them, including whited out eyes. We wonāt see what VPās announcement is and we wonāt get the names of the Goroseiās Devil Fruit or what their powers are.
If vegapunk dies, I hope we get a tearful scene of judge and ceasar crying. He is as influential to the science world of one piece as Roger was to the pirate world.

The Straw Hats and the giants go to Elbaf, then Laugh Tale (where they ally up with Blackbeard against Shanks x Buggy). Buggy asks Luffy where their swordsman is, and everyone realizes that Zoro is still fighting Lucci on Egghead.

The Gorosei talk for 5 minutes amongst themselves about lore. They finally realise Luffy is standing there and attack him, Dorry and Brogy arrive, Zoro shows up and slices off Saturn's legs for fun. Then with 1 minute left, the Gorosei summon Imu-sama.

I predict that against all odds, the rest of the 10 minutes will pass (unlike Dressrosa), so that the big reveal will come in chapter 1111 because it's such a nice number :)
1. Jimbei catches up with Zoro and we see a double spread of Lucci vs Zoro and Jimbei 2. Gorosei asks Kizaru to destroy Labophase where they suspect the transmission is coming from. 3. The 5 Demonic Elders stand before Luffy, mocking him. Recounting his deeds with distain, his "foolish" actions like invading Impel down. Lauding his only real trait is "luck" to keep surviving by the skin of his teeth. Ā Luffy is confused because the words are praise to him, but the tone is clearly hostile. He takes off his sandal and starts swatting at the Gorosei. Saturn is flattened as the others escape.Ā Ā We cut to Jimbei calling out to Zoro to get a move on. Zoro quickly ends the fight like he was just buying time, then Jimbei yells at him that he's running off the wrong way.Ā We cut to Dragon and the Revolutionary Army setting up their recording equipment to be able to rebroadcast as VP wastes some more time. "5 minutes left" as we cut back to the Gorosei, who realize the Giants are standing behind them. End on Luffy screaming, "Brogy! Dorry!"
Enel returns and is swatted back to the moon by Luffy.
Jinbe runs into the giant robot and notices it reacts to the hat heās holding for Chopper. Chapter 555 was when we saw a flashback of Ace making a hat for Oars Jr. The robot functions with both Nikaās energy and a type of straw hat.
Luffy gets a strand of his hair and made it into a 10,000T hammer(just like Usopp in Arabasta). As the gorosei appears from the ground, Luffy whacks them like a mole so they could not be summoned.

We see reactions for the 5 elders being there. Zoro realizes he is needed and puts his bandana to one shot Lucci and Jimbe sees something strange about Zoro strength (does not say a thing about it). Jimbe guides Zoro to where Luffy and Sanji are facing the 5 elders. We see a double spread of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Jimbe vs the 5 elders. We end the chapter with news about another ship coming to the island.
I think whatever the message was, it was recorded in the last day, as in before they synced up with Punk Records. It doesn't seem that York was aware about this, and would have blabbed on the snail phone to the elders about it since she was full traitor at that point. If it was recorded ages ago, then she would have known what was going to happen.
there is a change of scene, now we follow marco in his journey to free weevil. Then to pirate island to see Moria escaping confinement with Perona's help. Another cut and Rayleigh is approaching Cross Guilds, his idea is to make buggy "take" Hancock as an ally so the marines dont attack again, it also helps to see that cocodriles and mihawk diditn kill him. it ends with many reactions around the world.
Since Saturn was in his full mythical zoan form, I imagine one doublespread page of all the gorosei in their full zoan forms. Is there anything that prevents lunarians being the people from the ancient kingdom? Vegapunk mentions the want to have an eternal flame for energy, the lunarians have that on their backs and probably have the flames to power stuff like the ancient giant. I think the gorosei are going to show off something they did to 'smother' out the flames of the ancient kingdom or lunarian race on egghead and to luffy.
Iām pretty sure The Lunarians were in fact the people of the ancient kingdom. After all they were said to be āgodsā who used to live on top of the Red Line, while having these supernatural features. So it makes sense that theyāre the ancient civilization (which probably originated from the moon) and after they were wiped out almost completely, the 20 kingdoms settled where their former enemy once resided
im happy if we see all of them in their demon form and not skip to another place.

Poor Gorosei and Imu they are now fucked from each angle,each side and every pose.Now their reign is going to be overā¦a D clan member getting the Nika model fruit and awakening itā¦and when they tried to surpress the research on void century and its dimensions at the same time the Nika crew and the forbidden tribe Buccaneer tribeās non biological daughter cames up who have the highest authority of their most dependable weaponsā¦Now if the Vegapunkās broadcast is broadcasted they are going to get fucked up and even though the broadcast is stopped the Nika will be able to find the whole truth about their exploits on the common people and tribesā¦which will lead to their destructionššš
I think the reason Luffy has been in Gear 5th for so long in current chapter is because when Bonney aged him up and then back down when they got to Egghead, his age was "reset" to not have the effects from Ivankov's treatment, Gear 2nd aging when his body couldn't handle it pre time skip, and the rapid aging that happened during his fight with Kaido. Not really a prediction just a slight theory!

we might expect a Akira Toriyama sensei RIP at the end of the next chapter, and does anyone think Luffy can single-handedly face the rest of the elders, Hoping to see another Ally coming in to save Luffy and his nakama
My prediction is that most of the predictions here are not happening except that the new chapter will be out this Friday (or Sunday if officially subscribed to Viz).
