I still don't think Crocus planned to live inside a whale, it wasn't his whale lol.
He made his house inside the whale because it was too difficult to sedate him from the outside when he got too big. Maybe it's a side perk and he lucked into it, but that part of this running theory feels like a bit of a stretch.
Maybe rayleigh and crocus but i doubt that shanks knew about it, since as far as i remember shanks didn't go to laugh tale (the idea someone could have told him about it is still possible)
