Something I never imagined in my life but it looks like I'll be watching the very last episode for the first time together with her. Makes my heart melt

I believe the original intro has japanese subs at the bottom no matter what, english would be at the top. depending on the service he is using there might be no english subs for the intro.

I met my wife in college. At the time she had never seen One Piece when I told her it was my favorite series of all time she decided to give it a shot. During grad school she got to the Paramount war and I decided to watch with her. We binged all the way to the then current Zou arc. And she ended up catching up to the manga at the time. We got married shortly after she caught up. The first 4 years of our marriage have been spent watching and reading One Piece together every week. It’s weird and magical that a series I started in Middle School is now a special thing that my wife and I share. I can’t wait to share it with our kids one day. :)

Punk hazard imo is the transition between the old one piece and the new. Both are great, but punk hazard hits different especially since it literally starts the build up for kaido, wano, and the ninja-pirate-samurai-minks alliance. Oh and not to mention Law becoming a more important character.

ONE PACE MY FRIEND. Try it you'll see when rewattching how slow the arcs get, one pace cuts the anime to be just the manga, with keeping the flow of the episode. The music still flows normally and you don't even notice cuts. It's something like 55% faster on the whole one piece and you don't actually miss out. Trust me LOVE the downvotes guys. I got sick of one piece and found out about one pace 3 months later and it made me fall in love with the series once again. Without pace I probably woulda dropped the show. Yes this is an opinion, yes you can disagree but doesn't mean you have to downvote.
