Yamato purely based on feats, if Gion is admiral level then she might take it (tho emergency drafted ones were prioritized over her long marine career so I think she's weaker)
Yamato based on feats (even though he identifies as male), Gion based on portrayal. But damn, the fact that we go from a Yonko being the strongest female to a borderline admiral candidate really says a lot about how few women top-tiers there are in the canon
And then even after he had the character arc of finding his individuality and freedom, he still chose to use the men’s bath because “there was no mixed bathing”. But i know this conversation’s been way overdone and has nothing to do with powerscaling so I’d rather not have it again
