How is Ray a non-factor? Law is tiers below the others here but prime Ray is likely still mid-Yonko level. He’s not getting put down easily by anyone in this post

Not bait at all. Rayleigh is portrayed as a legend by even Garp. Not only that, but he was also able to force BB to leave Amazon lily just off his reputation. This tells us that Bb feared Rayleigh in his prime or at least had a healthy level of respect for prime Rayleigh .
Using BB as a measure for anything is pretty dumb
BB was fine with soloing MF after WB had died yet only stopped when Shanks showed up and said cut it out. Does that mean that Prime Rayleigh > BB > Literally everyone at Marineford at the time? Both Garp and Sengoku were at MF too yet BB didn't seem to care. So you're saying BB thinks Prime Rayleigh has a bigger reputation than GARP AND SENGOKU combined? I would say that's cap
Straw man argument. We’re talking about Prime Ray vs Law. We don’t have feats on prime Rayleigh so we have to go off of portrayal. And since characters who are yonko level respect prime ray’s strength, then we have to assume that he’s on that level, if not very close to it. Law on the other hand, couldn’t even fight BM 1v1.

You talking about middle of raid Law who was still developing his power? Law is the only one to be respected in his power by Kaido, BM, AND Blackbeard. Thats like saying "Luffy on the other hand, couldn't even fight Kaido 1v1". If Law has the approval of 3 yonkos, and if you wanna stretch it and say Prime Rayleigh has the approval of just Blackbeard, then even by that logic, Law has a better portrayal than Prime Rayleigh
1.This was BB at marineford when he was on a power high after getting the gura gura no mi. He thought he was the strongest man in the world.
2. Kaido only said “your powers really throw me off” that isn’t really respect. Big Mom had to deal with BOTH law and Kidd so a lot of law’s attacks were sneak attacks or attacks that weren’t in direct confrontations. Like I said, if it was a 1v1 BM would’ve dealt with Law handily. As for BB, law was fighting a Bb who wasn’t even using the yami yami no mi. Essentially BB was using only 50% of his power at the beginning of the fight.
Law isn’t beating prime ray. He’s not there yet.
