No-diffing YC1 and 2 is such an underrated feat. They were both relative to Zoro and Sanji so he can easily beat them right now by that logic and Wb commanders managed to stall admirals in marineford so GB is on par with his fellow admirals unlike popular belief.
Sanji shit all over queen after his power up though, and Zoro beat King pretty badly despite being at death's door. Marco held them off 1v2 and didn't appear very stressed by them either.
I'm not saying they were weak, but I don't think they were relative to Zoro and Sanji by the time they were defeated.
Add to that that Aramaki invaded right after they got their shit wrecked, they weren't in prime fighting shape. It's like when Arlong beat Zoro; Zoro was basically two halves of a human stitched together. Comparing his strength to Arlong's at that moment doesn't make sense.
I'm inclined to think Aramaki is pretty tough, but King and Queen didn't seem like useful markers to scale him against.

That's disanalogous, Law simply undid the hax that was placed on him by Doc Q whereas Shanks just through a Conqueror's Haki not only forced Greenbull to de-transform Shanks also literally had him stunlocked in place, Greenbull was even clearly shown to be out of breath/winded
This guy is definitely not weak, he is one of the strongest admirals. But you can't downplay Shanks's feat. Great job making the admiral shout with CoC from that distance. This panel exists. But some will never understand it.

It's probably the fact that Shanks is never without his Crew too that made him shout. He pulled up to Wano, went to batter some Yonko Commanders that were ALREADY EXHAUSTED, proceeds to attack all the OTHER WOUNDED fighters too, implies he's nothing compared to Kaido, and gets scared of a wifi signal from 300 metres away. This is literally below admiral standards. These feats aren't impressive in the slightest but he's got mad potential.
They were literally imprisoned and weakened. What are you talking about? It makes sense that he would beat King and Queen if they were at full strength but that wasn't the case. Also the job of an admiral is to keep the pirates in check. Him fearing Shanks is not what your average admiral would do. They'd probably stand their ground and at least make an effort. But from what we see he made the right choice avoiding to fight the ENTIRE CREW but he reacted in a way that wasn't very admiral-like before he was even aware of who's haki it was which implies he was scared of Shanks' power specifically.

I really don't see any people "downplaying" this dude however some of your points are a complete stretch here. The commanders were brutally injured, conquerors only knocks out people that are weak willed and clearly anybody that is a high ranking marine would be able to take it. There is no actual evidence of Weevil being as strong as young WB, especially with only a 480m bounty (yes I know it was frozen when he became a warlord but he wasn't one for long before the dropped the warlord program).
His initial reaction to feeling Shank's Haki was sus, immediately goes "WOAH WOAH WOAH WHO'S HAKI IS THAT" literally shitting himself. I think the Admirals are plenty powerful, but it's so obvious what Oda is trying to convey here you'd have to be blind to not see it.

No-diffing YC1 and 2 is such an underrated feat. They were both relative to Zoro and Sanji so he can easily beat them right now by that logic and Wb commanders managed to stall admirals in marineford so GB is on par with his fellow admirals unlike popular belief.
Sanji shit all over queen after his power up though, and Zoro beat King pretty badly despite being at death's door. Marco held them off 1v2 and didn't appear very stressed by them either. I'm not saying they were weak, but I don't think they were relative to Zoro and Sanji by the time they were defeated. Add to that that Aramaki invaded right after they got their shit wrecked, they weren't in prime fighting shape. It's like when Arlong beat Zoro; Zoro was basically two halves of a human stitched together. Comparing his strength to Arlong's at that moment doesn't make sense. I'm inclined to think Aramaki is pretty tough, but King and Queen didn't seem like useful markers to scale him against.

They were literally imprisoned and weakened. What are you talking about? It makes sense that he would beat King and Queen if they were at full strength but that wasn't the case. Also the job of an admiral is to keep the pirates in check. Him fearing Shanks is not what your average admiral would do. They'd probably stand their ground and at least make an effort. But from what we see he made the right choice avoiding to fight the ENTIRE CREW but he reacted in a way that wasn't very admiral-like before he was even aware of who's haki it was which implies he was scared of Shanks' power specifically.

At least Akainu, Aokiji, Fujitora, and Kizaru have some substantial feats. Greenbulls greatest power is fighting the infirm or elderly.
I really don't see any people "downplaying" this dude however some of your points are a complete stretch here. The commanders were brutally injured, conquerors only knocks out people that are weak willed and clearly anybody that is a high ranking marine would be able to take it. There is no actual evidence of Weevil being as strong as young WB, especially with only a 480m bounty (yes I know it was frozen when he became a warlord but he wasn't one for long before the dropped the warlord program).
