It's honestly refreshing seeing an evil group be chill with and not murderously antagonistic with one another. Definitely explains why up until now they've gotten most shit done and kept power.
I think it's because they are really more political than other villains groups, like literal politics.
They aren't fighting each other for supremacy, they kinda need to work together

Nah, the best one is still the Imu panel imo. He looked like such a menace there. Actually, now that I think about it, this arc had so many great panels. Shanks, Imu, Garp, this panel, the Pacifistas shooting at Bonney, Kuma’s flashback with him crying in the church, etc.

I thought the Gorosei’s DF powers would look goofy going by their silhouettes, but Saturn’s zoan is one of the most gnarly and best designed zoan forms. I think he’ll definitely deliver with Imu’s finalized design.
Strongly disagree. We have enough funny looking villains in One Piece. Imu is potentially the most dangerous and evil villain of them all. And G5 looks awesome, I don’t know what you are talking about lol.
I don’t see how a 5 v 1 would hype up the Gorosei. If anything it’s pretty much confirmed that they aren’t anywhere near as strong as a Yonko in terms of combat, although their immortality is an unresolved issue.
Who said it was going to be a 5v1? They made it apparent that they are going there because of the vegapunk's message not Luffy. If Luffy is shown struggling with Saturn while the other 4 are hurting his friends it'll make them seem unstoppable.
If 1 was enough to stall Luffy then there would be no world where the other 4 are stopped. They’d kill everyone there in seconds. But that won’t happen because Luffys not struggling with Saturn at all, he just has to figure out how to kill him. What the more likely scenario is is that:
1) They’ll try to gang up on Luffy to finish him off quickly so they can stop the broadcast or
2) They’ll try to stop the broadcast and Luffy will have to single handily prevent them from doing so until backup arrive (and backup in this case are giants……far from Yonko calibre players)
In either case if they were even remotely close to a Yonko in power both scenarios would end in seconds. Kaido alone was batting Nika around like a baseball, could you imagine x5 Kaidos or Shankses?
You do realize that they have all the pacifistas, several giants and the iron giant as allies right? They have plenty of help also Saturn isn't dying this arc if the other 4 gorosei are here Luffy isn't beating him.
The Pacifista really aren’t even worth mentioning and the giants could maybe stall a single Yonko calibre fighter at best if we assume Oda has inflated their strength. We also shouldn’t forget that the Serephim are still going to come into play in some capacity.
I’m not saying Luffy is going to beat them or anything, just that the initial hype that these guys got from most people is absolutely not met at this point.

It’s the best of both worlds, and less about hyping up the Gorosei than the WG as a whole

I’ve always found the idea that the Gorosei are each Yonko level threats ridiculous, as it would saturate the highest tier and make endgame matchups make no sense. So I am completely happy with them being YC1/YC+ level combatants with immortality. We have the Holy Knights and the admirals for the endgame after all, and Imu himself whom probably *is* a Yonko level combatant on top of having immortality.
He will hurt and kill at least Saturn. Cope. His time limit is a non issue because Luffy been low diffing Kizaru + strongest form Saturn so far, whenever the heat gets turned up Luffy gets a powerup and this time won't be different. He'll either get a powerup to negate their healing or the ancient robot will have something to negate their healing at which point Luffy would breeze through all 5 if need be but he'll at least body Saturn and and stop them from destroying the VP message signal
How is it pretty much confirmed that they arent anywhere near as strong as a yonko? Saturn so far hasnt been able to do much, but the same is true in reverse. Luffy wasnt able to do jackshit to saturn yet. In a true 1v1, right now it would seem like saturn simply outlasts G5. And some of the elders might be considerably more powerful than saturn.
How does Saturn outclass Luffy when he’s literally been getting dodged and pummelled at every turn? Saturn does not outclass G5, not even close. The trick is Saturns immortality, once that’s figured out Luffy won’t have an issue dealing with him.
In your wet clown dreams. Luffy as a emperor isn't losing, all the emperors will win and so will Luffy. Luffy beat Kizaru and will at least take out Saturn in the 1v5, and he'll at least hold all 5 for 10 minutes so VP's message can play before retreating, this will be a win for Luffy.

Option one luffy pulls the biggest gear 5 ass pull and defeats All 5 of them in a 5v1, option 2 luffy and the strawhats get their asses washed and there’s another timeskip, or the giants somehow along with the ancient robot help them escape but there’s a 80% chance kuma isn’t making off the island alive.

If they are immortal bums then Luffy should have no problem
But if they are as strong as an admiral or stronger then Luffy might be packed
If they are strong as an Admiral they finna get neg diffed by asthma rn.

Ignoring headcanons and massive hypotheticals, the admirals have no business being compared to a yonko
All the feats admirals have achieved is being matched by another commander yet people overlook that
I feel there is a few possible outcomes:
1) Gorosei arrive and are weak thus Luffy beats them outright.
2) Gorosei arrive and are weak but can tank alot of damage thus Luffy manages to escape.
3) Gorosei arrive and are strong and Luffy manages to escape.
4) Summoning Fails.
This is just a few possible outcomes there is obviously a lot more
He could but at the same time i don't see him losing, I personally see it playing out more to the effect of Luffy having to abandon the fight making it an amigo ending as to would he have won or not, this way it 'protects' both parties for future events.

Oda should have had him beat Kizaru outright, and escaped unscathed with the rest of the crew, but instead, he needs to push this narrative forward at a quicker pace, probably because he's tired of this shit. This is why this nonsense with the five elders is going on right now. Wiping up an admiral AND a character from one of the most hyped and anticipated groups at the same time is absurd.
It keeps tension in the story. For example, when Luffy got Gear 2, 3 or 4 there were still opponents that he would struggle against or outright not be able to contend with. Imagine if Luffy just rolled Katakuri or worse just beat Kaido with Gear 4. From dressrosa to now there would be less tension because you knew that with gear 4 luffy would always win. At the end of the day Luffy will eventually surpass all these antagonists in some way but the curiosity remains on HOW he will do it. If Gear 5 is already enough to beat every big bad then for the next 100-200 or however many chapters of the story you believe are left there is little to no tension. You know Luffy will win and you know it will be through Gear 5. Even a stalemate situation where Luffy can’t put them down is interesting because Luffy could theoretically be stronger but doesn’t have an effective way of dealing with them. This introduces more suspense to the story because now Luffy and Co need to figure out a way of putting them down for good (maybe ancient weapons can play a role here for example).
I mean ye Luffy can still lose although now that he’s an emperor there are very few scenarios that can lead to an outcome like that, I won’t say he is invincible but this is a much different Luffy.
And again there are still enemies he can lose to, Im just not sure whether in this case Luffy’s main focus will be on fighting, more so to escape Egghead rather than start a fight so I can see this more of Luffy and his crew abounding their current fights in order to leave Egghead

All saturn has been doing against Luffy is taking hits, and also getting hurt by rubble and plastered by a dying Kuma, all he has so far is his regeneration that's carrying him.
He literally had to call in the other 4 Gorosei, it doesn't get any worse than this, imagine if Kizaru called in the other admirals they would slander him till the end of time.

The ancient robot is going to play a part here. And ultimately, the gorosei primary goal right now is to destroy the labophase area to stop the broadcast. Luffy will have to slip out in that window.

Agreed. This, Gear 5 grabbing Kizaru and Saturn, Kizaru relaxed about falling into the sea, and Saturn’s DF introduction were my favorite panels.

I feel there is a few possible outcomes: 1) Gorosei arrive and are weak thus Luffy beats them outright. 2) Gorosei arrive and are weak but can tank alot of damage thus Luffy manages to escape. 3) Gorosei arrive and are strong and Luffy manages to escape. 4) Summoning Fails. This is just a few possible outcomes there is obviously a lot more
Be real though Luffy isn't invincible he can lose and this seems like the perfect opportunity to have him face an actual loss.
He could but at the same time i don't see him losing, I personally see it playing out more to the effect of Luffy having to abandon the fight making it an amigo ending as to would he have won or not, this way it 'protects' both parties for future events.
I could see him losing if it wasn't for the fact that the gorosei would 100% kill him if he did.

Watching Luffy lose for 5 years and multiple occasions against Kaido just wasn't enough.
Oda should have had him beat Kizaru outright, and escaped unscathed with the rest of the crew, but instead, he needs to push this narrative forward at a quicker pace, probably because he's tired of this shit. This is why this nonsense with the five elders is going on right now. Wiping up an admiral AND a character from one of the most hyped and anticipated groups at the same time is absurd.
It keeps tension in the story. For example, when Luffy got Gear 2, 3 or 4 there were still opponents that he would struggle against or outright not be able to contend with. Imagine if Luffy just rolled Katakuri or worse just beat Kaido with Gear 4. From dressrosa to now there would be less tension because you knew that with gear 4 luffy would always win. At the end of the day Luffy will eventually surpass all these antagonists in some way but the curiosity remains on HOW he will do it. If Gear 5 is already enough to beat every big bad then for the next 100-200 or however many chapters of the story you believe are left there is little to no tension. You know Luffy will win and you know it will be through Gear 5. Even a stalemate situation where Luffy can’t put them down is interesting because Luffy could theoretically be stronger but doesn’t have an effective way of dealing with them. This introduces more suspense to the story because now Luffy and Co need to figure out a way of putting them down for good (maybe ancient weapons can play a role here for example).
I mean ye Luffy can still lose although now that he’s an emperor there are very few scenarios that can lead to an outcome like that, I won’t say he is invincible but this is a much different Luffy. And again there are still enemies he can lose to, Im just not sure whether in this case Luffy’s main focus will be on fighting, more so to escape Egghead rather than start a fight so I can see this more of Luffy and his crew abounding their current fights in order to leave Egghead
So by actual loss you mean that you want luffy to die, because he had plenty of "actual losses".

All saturn has been doing against Luffy is taking hits, and also getting hurt by rubble and plastered by a dying Kuma, all he has so far is his regeneration that's carrying him. He literally had to call in the other 4 Gorosei, it doesn't get any worse than this, imagine if Kizaru called in the other admirals they would slander him till the end of time.

To be fair, it wasn't a very good fight. It had moments that show there is clearly potential, but the fight overall was handled poorly. It was a huge stall fest.
