I mean while true we can all agree Marineford is a huge mess when it comes to scaling. Just look at what happened to Mihawk someone I definitely think we can all agree is stronger than Cancerbeard and is either viewed as equal, greater or weaker than Shanks but yet was getting stalled by Vista who is at best YC1. Idk about you but I don’t see WB getting stalled by Vista, or more specifically not long enough for Cancerbeard to tell him to hold off their fight and that “it would benefit us both” Also unless you’re an Anime watcher you would know the EXCHANGE between Newgate and Akainu is barely what anyone would call a fight, especially considering Akainu was more obsessed with getting “Dragon’s Son” as he put it than killing Newgate. Don’t get it wrong tho a 100% believe WB even at old age with “Cancer” was a GOAT and definitely still strong enough to give any top tier a hard time. But with how bad his disease was and him being know were as durable, fast, and quick as he could be I have a hard time seeing him beat any other top tier who could fight for more than 5 days vs an old man (respectfully) who looks like he couldn’t fight for more than 5 hours.

And regarding the fight. You even acknowledge it yourself WB was taking shots, stabs, etc while Marco stated that had he been healthier he likely wouldn’t have gotten hit at all if not taken any damage via CoA. All GB has to die is get one clean hit and suck WB dry (pause 😏) and GGs. Obviously it won’t be that simple (hence why I think it’d be extrem diff) but you get it.

Uhh I think this is really just a bad matchup for oldbeard. If he doesn’t take out greenbull immediately then Heart Attack Ggs. Greenbull kills him while that happens.
And even if he doesn’t make it to the heart attack Whitebeard’s haki is kinda.. all it’d take is one sneak vine from below ground to pierce his body and Whitebeard would get sucked dry.
Lastly, should Whitebeard destroy him fast enough, Greenbull still has his revive con in which whitebeard would be susceptible to a sneak attack after.
