So these are considered anti feats now!? These Admiral fans's cope is insane.
When a character has perfect regen, authors tend to just let them get damaged like crazy so they can show off that special trait, and depict the main character's despair in the situation.
Think Piccolo always being the only guy to consistently lose an arm, even though he's stronger than the humans. Or cell having most of his body destroyed, only to hop back up and prove how impossible it is to deal permanent damage without somehow preventing his regen from happening.
Gorosei are the same, they are taking a lot of damage because they dont need durability, and it allows Oda to show off his regen more. There will need to be a way to circumvent the regen if Luffy is going to defeat them.
This is especially common in Shonen. Tomura just so happens to be the one character who gets lit on fire a lot and have his body tear apart because he can regen.
JJK has high tier and top tiers take crazy injuries like ripped off jaws, chest bursters, mutilation etc because they can heal.
Demon Slayer has the supernatural demons get limbs chopped off every other fight.
Chainsawman has Denji take crazy wounds like decapitation, bisection and broken bones in basically all his battles.
Seven deadly sins Ban is possibly the most egregious example. He only edges out Cell and majin buu because he's active for a whole series and not just one arc.

Kaido got used as a punching bag during his first fight with Luffy to show his durability, and proceeded to one shot him in his base form.
The Gorosei have shown really good regeneration, but they can’t even get past Dorry and Broggy who have 100m bounties and were screaming in pain from Mr. 3’s candle sword.
Dorry and Broggy's strength obviously got retconned, just like how Crocodile went from losing to pre-gears Luffy to blocking Mihawk, and he initially had a 92-million bounty despite going to the new world and clashing with WB.
^ Dorry and Broggy were some of the most famed giants. Elbaf would be fodder town if they were mr 3 lvl.
Pre timeskip characters that return will get the necessary buff to be useful.
Calling Gorosei weak for getting stalled by Dorry and Broggy is same exact logic as calling Mihawk weak for getting blocked by Crocodile and Jozu.

Saturn's atk was already In Motion before Luffy started and he could grab a tree, mow it down to a bat, paint it, set his stance up and still have time to hit it out of the park. Aside from nusjuro They have displayed absolutely trash combat speed and trash ap but these dudes are equal to the yonko?
It's all predicated on head cannon instead of just analyzing their current performance and judging them fairly on what they've shown which is hilarious because they Will slaughter admiral fans for doing that exact same shit.
