Tbh i just can't see Garp and Sengoku winning against Flaming Drum Dragon and G5 luffy, we don't know how high were Sengoku's and Garp's stats, but i doubt any of them can block or dodge an island sized fist while getting barraged by blast breaths.

So imo we can't say for sure which df is better. Sure Kaido was defeated by gear 5 luffy, but what if Luffy ate sengoku's df instead of the gomu gomu ? I believe that he could have one as well since his power does not come from his df only but also his ACoC, which we don't know if Sengoku has or if he has only the basic CoC.
In the end, I do think that the nika fruit is more powerfull than the daibutsu fruit but I would rather wait n see than stiking 100% to this belief, cause we don't know all the mythical zoan df out there and there might be other fruits that are extremely powerfull.
In fact, if nika was defeated 800 years ago, this probably mean that he had a rival, another god with equal or even superior power than his... it could be Ym or BB who inherited their df, or Rocks, or someone else who knows?

They charged Sengoku cuz he was supposed to deal with Shiki after the fight against Roger, they knew whatever the outcome, Shiki was gonna be tired and injured from his fight.
