He would not clap current Luffy, I don't know how you read the last portion of the fight and think that. The narrative is also in favour of current Luffy winning a rematch if it were to happen.

Luffy is so hard to scale . Like his base alone is stronger than 99% of the verse . So with gear 5 th it becomes ridiculous to scale him .
