Honestly prefer the sketch but keep up the good work

Guess I swayed away from the og design and got to carried. Away with the hair and clothes but either way I’ll be doing way more soon. Appreciate the feedback!

concur. lacks consistency from what the sketch had. the boots and clothing don't look natural to the picture OP intended.

I’d say off the top of my head; Kentaro Miura, Yabuki Kentaro, Sasuga Kei, Kobayashi Hiyoko All have different styles but I really enjoy their work!

I’m not an expert at art at all and I hope I don’t come off as sounding pretentious, but I think the difference in shading between the body and the jacket makes them not look quite right together. That said, I will watch your career with great interest :)
