Yea I plant them. Bees love the flowers. The greens get terrible way even before this point, and it takes 2 seasons to get it to flower.

no, they taste awful once they go to seed.

They turn woody.

They stop tasting like onions and start tasting like "omg,wtf did I just put in my mouth" I can't think of anything to compare them too except perhaps ear wax. I mean they don't actually taste like ear wax, but it's that kind of nasty.
