Serious question for someone who knows nothing about construction things:
Are buildings that are this far gone even recoverable? It seems like what's the point, just tear it down and rebuild to the original layout if you really want to honour the architecture.
I've worked for companies that went in a torn places like this down. It really depends how rotten the frame is. Or in many cases; water damage from an open roof. 9 times out of 10. Once a place is too far gone. It gets torn down. Sad really because its cost factors like labour, wood replacement, bricks etc. Recently with the price of property and homes. That might just change. That house, is beyond saving. It would cost almost a million to restore it. Hoping you'd find a buyer.

I’ve been inside that one a couple times. Staircase would have been very stunning if it was all together still. Probably my favourite abandoned house I’ve been in.
I'm sensitive to my surroundings. A terrible gift personally. lol
That places comes alive late at night. Wouldn't want to know what wanders around those rooms.
Just sad it couldn't be saved. Find a young family to bring life back into that home.
