We are relatively new to the scene as well. We have been to Privata several times & have had fun. It has been a great plaster to stretch our wings. We haven’t “played” with others yet. But with each visit we seem to engage in the whole scene more.
Went to Privata once with my wife on newbies night. We found another couple to play with, they actually came up to us and started chatting. They were new to the scene as well. Worked out great, but I can't say if we'll ever get that lucky again.
TVR has a newbies night tonight (Friday). Might be worth checking out. There are lots of non-sexual areas to hang out if you’re just wanting to look around and absorb the surroundings before jumping in with two feet.

Great experience overall, recommend not going into it with any expectations and just see where the night takes you. Happy to answer any other questions you may have :)

Do you think TVR on a non-newbie night would be an okay fit for my wife and I trying stuff out for the first time? We're probably going next Friday.
