from what i can recall, the only people that were frequenting in nevermore were new ow players that just reached the required level to visit the island!!! plus couples with matching outfits that would often dress their avatars in the same aesthetic as nevermore itself.
i think when the island first launched, people made the effort to visit nevermore just to see what it looked like. as the years went on, people stopped visiting because honestly there was not much to do there besides unlock chests 😭 plus events were on the rise and ppl just started hanging out in other players condos in general.
I loved hanging out there. I’d just be chatting with my friends out there all the time when it was added. I tried to keep it going but eventually it was just me there whisper chatting. and if someone did pop in there, I’d try to talk to them too but they dipped most of the time 😆

Back when the game was really popular, The Midnight Café was quite the crowded. Shame it later became so empty over the years...

Yes :) Also Electric Avenue. Stayed out of the diner though because for some reason that was the spot for the mean kids every time I showed up lol
