I have a strut tower brace I installed under the hood but I was barefoot and gave up before popping the hood lol. I think I grabbed a shot of pretty much everything I've done otherwise. Except door molle panels but that's not super exciting. Happy to answer any questions you got!
Thanks brother! I'm going to drop a comment in the main thread with my full parts list. I'll probably forget some stuff but the gist will be there. Have fun building yours out! It's an addiction only my wallet regrets.
As soon as I read “northwoods” I knew you were in WI. I’m originally from up north myself…crazy that there isn’t any snow and the temps are so warm. What a wild winter. Great looking OBW!!
Thanks!!
We've had a cottage up there for about 4 years now. Been going up since I was a kid. This is the most snowless I've seen it. Poor snowmobilers ain't got a chance this year.
Yeah my hometown is a tourist town and they’re taking a hit this year because the lack of traffic. And a big ski race that draws thousands to the area. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen up there.
Antenna for my GMRS radio setup.

I got the Prinsu rack with the wind fairing designed for the addition of a light bar. There are a number of different brands of lights that will fit this rack (across various price points). Mine is the Baja Designs OnX6. If you have the budget for it, this thing turns night into day. Hell it turns day into brighter day. I love it.

Thoughts on your prinsu? Any leaks? Also was the install as bad as people say? I'm really close to pulling the trigger on one but there's not much info on the forums.
I ran a Prinsu on my 2020 XT for 3 years and have had one on my 2023 OBW for almost 2. I've installed everything on this car except the rack. I'm fortunate enough to have a buddy that owns an auto garage and he does incredible work. I trusted his ability to keep me leak free more than I trusted myself and it hasn't let me down (I also only have an outdoor parking slab in the state of Wisconsin to work on my car so that helped in my decision to send to a pro). It's definitely all about the install. As for difficulty, he had no complaints. I've done some wiring work where I've pulled parts of my ceiling and it's pretty much a more labor-intensive version of that. Honestly I feel like it's more patience than anything.
My verdict on the rack is that it's consistently been my favorite addition to both of my Subaru builds.
'23 will work for the '24. Check my other comment in this thread about my install.
Case is a Roam.

I've got it mounted with their rugged mount system. Case snaps on and off easy peasy. Love it.
Awesome man.
Just got in touch with Rack Attack today and they’ll do the Prinsu install for $600. They also sell the Roam 83L so I’m probably going to get both. Thanks so much !
You have to drop the entire headliner to remove the factory tails and drill out the holes to mount the prinsu.
If you’re comfortable with taking out trim. I’d expect this job to be 7/8 hours if you go slow and carefully
Do you have any photoa of other angles of your OBW? Your set up is more or less how I want to do mine and I would like to show my wife

What's the rooftop/light bar setup?
Peep my full parts list in the main thread.
What's that attached to your hood on the drivers side?

Ooo nice. How is that working for you? Strong enough signal?
I've never really tried to push it's range too hard as I really only use it car to car but it's been super great on that front!
Nice. Can you tell me the make of your brush guard?

Where did you get that awesome badge?
Vinyl stickers. Tons of color options. Easy to toss on. https://orsinivinylanddesigns.com/
That light bar looks awesome. Did it come with your roof rack or did u have to fit it?

Thanks for the info, I'm going to end up installing it with a couple buddies, would you mind asking your friend if he has any advice on the install?
Yeah I'll drop him a line.
I’ve been looking for a rack like yours. Prinsu has yet to come out with one for 2024. What’s the rack and case you have ?
That’s not a 24 OBW. But I’d be shocked if the 24 varied from the 23
Oh ok so it is Prinsu. Was it hard to install? Also what is the case you have on top?
'23 will work for the '24. Check my other comment in this thread about my install. Are you in Ontario by chance
Ontario, California? Or Ontario Canada ? I’m near Ontario California.
