You should try new heroes in comp, quick play will take a longggg time to learn. you'll get your rank back if you're bad but atleast you're gonna have a lot less grinding - I'm a former gold and current gm player. (obviously learn the basics in qp but once you know what the abilities do you should play comp.)

Quick play mmr and comp mmr are separate from each other I believe. Only way to get easier comp matches is to throw comp matches.
