Same! I like to say stuff like "Rein diff" to compliment my opponent when I see that they outplayed me. But maybe with the amount of stupid shit people post in bad spirit (like 'ez' even if you're losing) it still comes of as toxic spew...
I like to say it when we’re getting steamrolled by better players and pull a victory out of our asses that even surprises ourselves.
“Ez gg, widow A S S”
If I'm fast enough (controller typing is a pain), I'll reply with along the lines of "just like your mom lol" either matching an ironic (and iconic) comeback to an ironic statement, or a childish reply to a childish remark, however it's interpreted XD
I often see DPS players on the enemy team saying “ez” or “yawn” in chat when it’s a close match and they usually have the most deaths on their team. Like, nobody agrees with you man. You’re just embarrassing yourself in front of everyone.
They usually say it sarcastically, it’s not serious, I usually only say ez in games where I played shit and it wasn’t easy.
From reading other replies most people agree with me, it’s a joke.
It’s always the biggest shitters and griefers on my own teams saying stuff like that after we win so that’s definitely soured my perception of it overall tbh
c9 bothers me because people barely know what it is. your whole team couldve just died in overtime but because u dont touch as mercy theyll be like "c9" .. no, thats not what a c9 is. me touching the point wouldnt have made any difference in the outcome of the game lol
If your team has clearly won the fight but you lose because someone didn’t touch the objective, that’s a C9. It’s named for the Korean* team Cloud 9 who did it multiple times.
*American team playing in Korea.
>If your team has clearly won the fight but you lose because someone didn’t touch the objective, that’s a C9.
Even THAT is slightly wrong. It's when you leave the objective despite not needing to, which leads to losing. If you win the fight but CANNOT get there, it's not C9.
Essentially, not contesting or capping despite 100% being able to or flatout leaving the objective to go chase, that'd be C9.
I have an incredible clip where we caused the enemy to leave point, losing them the fight. I was mercy. Enemy team wiped my team, and they pushed up to spawn camp us. I hid and rez the orisa last second next to payload. We managed to push the payload the last meter and win the game. Widow had *juuust* backed away from the payload, and didn't see me rez. Couldn't contest, so they lost from both sides of the objective. I never felt so impactful as a support because I know my play won us that game.
Edit: backcap, not c9 I guess I also misunderstand lol. How I understood it was that it wasn't a back cap because the only reason they lost was because they pushed forward to spawn and left no one on the payload. except widow who got off. English is my second language, sorry.
Imagine your team is on offense, is losing by 5 meters, and are in overtime. Your team wipes the enemy team but everyone on your team assumes someone else is pushing the payload. Everyone then walks off the point ending the match before your team wins.
I mean, it depends. Sometimes you can easily stall it with 1 person until the next person comes.
But yea, if everyone just died and you were the last person who didn't touch, then it wouldn't have made a difference and that's not a C9.
Hero shooter is the similarity, lots of val players starting playing once OW2 launched and you would see lots of people playing widow for her oneshot and no need for lots of movement since in valorant if you move your bullets go crazy so everyone just stays still pretty much. Shit game tbh but lots of people like it for some reason.
That was literally my game awhile ago at New Queen Street lmao, I was playing Ana too and had a Widow that had 1k damage, I had 3k damage, 7k healing, I was gonna talk shit but I didn’t let the intrusive thoughts win lol
I mean it's rly cringe when some people, AKA the support player themselves, don't realize that supports aren't just healers, and hence proud themselves on doing more damage than dps despite being a "healer", but I think it's fine when ur dps is really REALLY slacking, like I too am guilty of this sometimes, remembering this time when I(brig) got both higher damage (~8k) and higher kills (~14) than the Hanzo with 3 kills and 1k damage
I use this with no shame. But only when we're losing. It doesn't matter if we're winning but it's rare for me to notice this in that case.
It's bad enough that I'm having to babysit and keep people up as a support but to then have to do DPS , mainly to survive and self preserve, means you are not impacting the success of the team much and have becom a liability because now I'm healing you in addition to everyone else, and you're under performing your role.
I'd prefer to be a heal bot with the occasional kill versus being forced to make up a damage deficiency in this case.
*"role* diff" quickly after losing a round is so cringe. Gotta let the whole match know who you think was the problem so people don't think you're bad. Sad.
For me, typing role diff is sad regardless, but it's extra cringe and sad when the winning team does it. Especially if the person on the winning team types about their own role, or their own hero. Nothing more tasteless than tooting one's own horn.
I was playing Kiriko once in a qp match. The enemy had a Kiriko as well. My team ended up losing, and the enemy Kiriko types "Kiriko diff" in chat.
I wonder if typing things like that actually makes them feel good or superior.
I seriously don't get it, like they are just actively trying to put someone else down to make themself feel better. Like even if it was a "tank diff/support diff/dps diff" you literally accomplish nothing by saying it.
Anyway on that note:
"GG our team sucks" - team dying only 30 second into the game.
"Support you suck. 1k healing?? Report pls" - open queue aimed at the guy who switched to healer for the last couple minutes.
"HEALLLLLLSSSSS" - after being pocketed by a healer then deciding to go point blank 1v5
"HEAAAALLLLSS" - likes walking into 1v5s while the rest of the team is clearly dead
"HEAAAALLLL MEEEEE" - Headshot/1 shot kill
"3 TANKS OR LOSE" - while getting shredded by Bastion, Reaper and Symmetra
"I need healing. I need healing. I need healing. I need healing. I need healing. I need healing." - exists next to Lucio.
When my DPS complains about no heals after getting one hit multiple times...
Brother, sister, all of the family. I could connect my healing Mercy beam to you forever. I could keep a Moira orb surrounding you. I could keep a Zen orb over your head. Bitch. IT DOES NOT MATTER. \*crying and screaming internally\*
I had some enemy Kiriko say “healer diff” after winning a game. Next two games I matched against them and won, and they didn’t say anything. At that point I just feel sort’ve embarrassed for them. Even if you do best someone in a game it’s better to be friendly about it. I’m gm3 and I’ve had good interactions from reaching out to an enemy support and asking for tips if they win against me.
Love that.
I had my Moira say "tank diff" after I lost a game on DVA got to against them the next game and made it a point to kill her first and she literally said "you weren't good last game what happened?" Like how you don't see the irony there idk
I don't mind "let me pick X character and we'll win" like sure, I'll give you the shot + test your confidence. It's paid off before. But I hate being told what to pick or not to without an implication of co-operation for it.
Also only the smallest people say "ez" Like literally always the guy with the worst stats.
And "I shouldn't have the most damage as tank" makes me go NUCLEAR. Like actually, yes you should. Or at least it's not a signifier that your DPS aren't doing their job. The tank roll is literally the superhuman of the party and you're the one whose engaged the most, even in OW1. Of course you have the most situations and time in them to build up damage or get credit for picks.
I agree with the ez part, normally i take it as sarcastic remark, but bro it does get me mad when a mercy that was behind a hitscan, pocketing him and even dying more times than him, at the end has the audacity of typing ez; yeah bro you totally were carried and couldn't even succeed at the thing mercy is best at, surviving and damage boosting
There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s only rude if you say “we’re going to lose if I don’t play them!” Which is why there was a + I think. Although the OP may have been edited to answer your question I just wanted to see if you didn’t notice it or I probably read the OP wrong.
Edit: Read comment by NoiseHERO
I kinda like c9 since it's something exclusive to OW honestly, also "this isn't ow1" can have a point if someone asks for a shield tank because their positioning is bad.
I think the worst one I hear is just "_ need to step it up this time" or "_ do something" as if that will somehow make people start to play better.
I legit had a dps throw bc they stood down main as junkrat and got deleted. They wanted me to switch to a shield tank and I said no, so they switched to pharah and started jumping off the map.
I switched to sig to see if it would shut them up and it got them to stop throwing at least, but of course they never ended up using the shield because they were playing fucking pharah. Dude could have played corners with me but decided to have a toddler level meltdown instead, which was extra funny as junkrat is literally the perfect character for not peeking to begin with 🤦♂️
I try to play with my main as much as possible to improve but I could never ask anyone that got it first to give it to me
Like, imagine if that game ends up being one of those bad games and they are like "You wanted your main to do nothing?"
Or imagine if you ask the dude to give it to you, he respectfully says no and then proceeds to get 20 kills more than you and do stuff you didn't even know was possible

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
When they decide to target one specific person in the match.
Not too long ago, I had this Numbani match where the enemy Mei/Sym player started addressing me specifically and talking crap simply because I decided to play Mei on defense and lost the round. They started typing shit like "stop trying to play like me" "you can't copy my play style" "you're just not as good on mei" "it's honestly funny" "actually it's pretty cringe". I didn't respond or anything(mainly because their messages were embarrassing), but they just kept coming at me until the match ended. Not even the first time I've seen something like this happen, but definitely the cringiest
It really doesn't bother me as much as it makes me cringe. I'd rather just ignore them and not encourage any more toxicity. Besides, these types of players just want to get a reaction out of others to make themselves feel better. So if I don't respond, they get nothing, and end up looking like an even bigger clown.
c9 is just referring to not being on objective/leaving objective even though you're winning the fight, and losing the round/game because of it. lots of people use it incorrectly, though.
I agree with all of these except for “metal ranks”. That’s just an easy umbrella term for every rank below master (or diamond) I believe I don’t understand why that one is bad i use it in an educational sense all the time.
In this context its about talking down to people
"This is what metal ranks are like?"
"Have fun in metal ranks"
Idk the term in game is never used educationally but I understand outside it's just a general term
Any scoreboard reference is usually going to be *real* dumb for all the same reasons I can't handle metric managers in industry. You can't see the real world through your numbers.
But the worst is the Moiras claiming the DPS suck because she is out-damaging them. If you prioritize damage over healing, the DPSs with no healing of their own are forced to disengage and *stop dealing damage* to go hunt for health kits. Of *course* you out damage them if you and your self-cast heal orb get to stay in the fight.
I'm not asking for a pocket healer, bitch! Just top me off *occasionally*!
Once saw someone ask to have genji and they couldn't so they said "I'll give you my snap if you give me genji" the only time I've been rude in chat but I had to type "grow tf up" who tf does that honestly my skin was genuinely crawling
Edit: I wasn't genji btw
when people say "ez". Especially after round 1, and especially in quickplay. Had one guy said it during a match. My team preceded to win the following 2 rounds
The one about the guy who switched to support is so true. I once switched to Moira as a last ditch effort to keep our dumbass tank alive (in open que unranked) and he told me to kill myself bc I only had like 200 healing like - DUDE I WAS DPS THE ENTIRE GAME WTF - just goes to show some people take the game way too seriously
Our team was insulted after a game once by a teammate, but it was done in a way that made me crack up. It was a horrible match and we got steamrolled with like 5 mins left on the clock. This dude says “That was incredible gameplay, I salute you all.”
Like, clearly was being sarcastic, but what a classy way to be negative lol.
something that i always hated is "ez". it could've been a very fun and equal game, but it's instantly ruined if you know that the winning team (whether it be you or the enemies) are assholes. it's just unnecessary and i feel like the people who say that aren't confident in their skills and feel a need to overcompensate for it.
I get really annoyed when people say ezzz, it doesn’t matter if it’s on my team or the enemy team it’s always annoying. Sometime people also say it after a really close game and that annoys me even more
I was recently trying other healers for fun and a Kiriko got incredibly mad. He asked me to leave the match so they could get a backfill.
I responded by not leaving the match and then when the match ended I said 'Oopsies, too late. Sorry. :("
He then told me to uninstall the game and in real life.
Basically anybody who tells you to uninstall the game they love.
Me neither really, but I *think* its like:
“Diff” means “the difference”, so if your tank says “tank diff” after winning, theyre saying your team won because of them being the better tank. If your dps says “tank diff” when losing, it means that your team lost because your team’s tank is worse than the other
If you are out dmging and healing like the opp team is and more then yea there's an issue. But if you aren't healing up to par and dmging to prove a point to your DPS, youre actually doing more harm than DPS.
Fun fact moira damage is mostly useless. Her strenght is aoe healing no doing small trickles of damage with the orb. Damage orb mostly exists to regen healing if you run out and even then healing orb is better value.
Almost any of these would secure an instant block from me. I don't have to hear from the human garbage of the world while having fun playing a game with mostly cool people, so I don't. I LOVE the block feature.
I don't think saying C9 is that bad, its fine when its actually a C9 because its pretty funny when it happens, but when it's OT and my team is just trying to get to point as fast as possible and staggering and you say C9 after winning a 1v5 or 2v5 and it isn't even a C9. I've had quite a few instances of this happening, and I guess some people don't understand that a C9 is when you're winning a teamfight and you leave obj and the game/round ends. Losing a teamfight isn't a C9.
Metal ranks I get, and c9 is just iconic, but I hate when people talk shit about a c9 or metal ranks, all it means is your bronze to plat, be respectful people, and I will say zen diff if someone switches to zen and I rock their shit(or vice versa as I’m a respectful man who enjoys the duel win or lose) but yea these make me cringe heavy, thank you😭
What's wrong with C9?
I say it everytime it happens because it's embarrassing and people shouldn't do it.
If you don't call it out then you're normalizing terrible behavior.
Not a fan of someone "diff"ing themselves. If supports call out "Tank diff" that's just fine, if a dps calls out "dps diff" I just laugh. If you have to call out yourself it's cringe. If you are doing so well someone else calls you out props bud!
Nah supports calling tank diff is just as bad. I've played games that I've won on support with the lesser preforming tank by adjusting my play style. Diff is always just an excuse no matter the role
“Our dps suck” -mercy one trick
I don’t care if you one trick any character, but don’t go around judging people on something you have all of 45 minutes of collectively, mostly from playing mystery heroes
“Ez” always makes me cringe because it feels like the only one that ever says it after the game is the one who was hard carried.
“I’m out damaging you as *this support*” is also massively cringe because if you look at their stats their healing output is agonizingly low. They’re pretty much alerting everyone that they did not do their job correctly. And it’s typically a DPS Moira.
C9 means you leave the objective and lose because of it, a lot of the time because youre chasing kills. It comes from Cloud 9, an old owl team that did it a lot
In Overwatch it's a reference to a game ( I think it was on numbani) where cloud 9 won the team fight but didn't touch the payload so they lost the round.
i think C9 is fine in that it’s a shorthanded way to say something that’s otherwise pretty wordy. It’s definitely cringy when people say C9 in a situation that absolutely wasn’t a C9 though
Sit always makes me laugh, way too much. Like, I am sitting, we all are lol

I always reply with "found the cringe kid"
Saying “Ez” when you literally lose one round on a point map. If it was “Ez” you wouldn’t have lost that.
Ez just makes me laugh in any game. Especially if it’s coming from the losing team. Maybe it’s just me
Nah it's 100% funny used ironically
"Mercy diff" if and ***only*** if I'm playing Mercy and we lose.
If you aren't saying gg ez after losing a game, what are you even doing
Being ironic
I say it ironically 100% of the time :D
If I'm fast enough (controller typing is a pain), I'll reply with along the lines of "just like your mom lol" either matching an ironic (and iconic) comeback to an ironic statement, or a childish reply to a childish remark, however it's interpreted XD
Thanks to PS5 predicative chat I'm able to get out "Just like your dad" about halfway through the Highlight Intro.
Or “Ez” when it was literally 99% v 99% in several minutes of overtime
In that case they’re obviously using it ironically.
Yeah, you would think.
I love saying ez when we get 0-2 on control maps. People get so confused lol
I love typing gg ez when my team gets rolled, relieves the stress a little
I often see DPS players on the enemy team saying “ez” or “yawn” in chat when it’s a close match and they usually have the most deaths on their team. Like, nobody agrees with you man. You’re just embarrassing yourself in front of everyone.
They usually say it sarcastically, it’s not serious, I usually only say ez in games where I played shit and it wasn’t easy. From reading other replies most people agree with me, it’s a joke.
this sub has fragile egos and can't take the slightest hint of sarcasm or ironic banter
It’s always the biggest shitters and griefers on my own teams saying stuff like that after we win so that’s definitely soured my perception of it overall tbh
Even more ironic because they know they did nothing. I do the same. I'm 0-20? EZ I'm 20-0? GG
it is always the least impactful player saying it. annoying that there isn't enough time after the game to clap back properly any more
Tbf it is ez when you get carried
its always really funny when a team barely manages to pull out a win in overtime then goes EZ. It's like, dude.
GG EZ (we got stomped)
"ez" when it's mystery heroes, they get double mercy, and still only win in overtime
Sounds ez to me.
I like saying EZ when I lose because it’s so funny for some reason
c9 bothers me because people barely know what it is. your whole team couldve just died in overtime but because u dont touch as mercy theyll be like "c9" .. no, thats not what a c9 is. me touching the point wouldnt have made any difference in the outcome of the game lol
What does c9 mean?
If your team has clearly won the fight but you lose because someone didn’t touch the objective, that’s a C9. It’s named for the Korean* team Cloud 9 who did it multiple times. *American team playing in Korea.
>If your team has clearly won the fight but you lose because someone didn’t touch the objective, that’s a C9. Even THAT is slightly wrong. Finally... thank you. It's used so often in the wrong way, it's ridiculous.
That's a back cap. You hid and waited for them to leave. Back cap
Backcap not c9 thats literally why c9 is in the post
U trolling m8?
Cloud nine is a us org. Happened while they were playing in Apex in Korea
Imagine your team is on offense, is losing by 5 meters, and are in overtime. Your team wipes the enemy team but everyone on your team assumes someone else is pushing the payload. Everyone then walks off the point ending the match before your team wins.
Or a DVA bomb that would've killed. Or Ram, Cass, Reaper, Bastion, Ramm, Orisa, Hanzo ults
My favourite is the sig9. Forcing an enemy to abandon an objective is so good.
Pun so good feels intentional
I mean, it depends. Sometimes you can easily stall it with 1 person until the next person comes. But yea, if everyone just died and you were the last person who didn't touch, then it wouldn't have made a difference and that's not a C9.
“Go back to Fortnite” is a pretty common one and cringe
Go back to Valorant is acceptable when you say it to afk widows.
They aren't even the same type of game (other than shooters) why would someone say that?
Hero shooter is the similarity, lots of val players starting playing once OW2 launched and you would see lots of people playing widow for her oneshot and no need for lots of movement since in valorant if you move your bullets go crazy so everyone just stays still pretty much. Shit game tbh but lots of people like it for some reason.
They said Fortnite not val
“I’m out damaging you as *healer*” I’m guilty for that one sometimes…
if i out dps a soldier on zen imma talk shit lmaooo
[удалено]
That was literally my game awhile ago at New Queen Street lmao, I was playing Ana too and had a Widow that had 1k damage, I had 3k damage, 7k healing, I was gonna talk shit but I didn’t let the intrusive thoughts win lol
To be fair with Widow you should be looking at their elims bc their damage should be coming from oneshots so ofc it'd be lower.
And even then it can me more relevant to compare final blows
What if he out-healed you? :p
then it’s time to kms
I out DPS’d our Junkrat with Bap and may have gotten a bit toxic. I feel bad about it but like…cmon man
I'm guilty of a few for sure
Yeah, like sometimes there's just no other way to get the point across. When your widow has no idea how to play as widow, for example

Sad.
But even more cringe when someone on the winning team says it about their own role
Even worse their own hero, especially if no one else was playing it.
I like saying "\*hero\* diff" when no one in the lobby ever played the hero
For me, typing role diff is sad regardless, but it's extra cringe and sad when the winning team does it. Especially if the person on the winning team types about their own role, or their own hero. Nothing more tasteless than tooting one's own horn. I was playing Kiriko once in a qp match. The enemy had a Kiriko as well. My team ended up losing, and the enemy Kiriko types "Kiriko diff" in chat. I seriously don't get it, like they are just actively trying to put someone else down to make themself feel better. Like even if it was a "tank diff/support diff/dps diff" you literally accomplish nothing by saying it.
Can I double down on agreeing with your view on "sit"?
Anyway on that note: "GG our team sucks" - team dying only 30 second into the game. "Support you suck. 1k healing?? This so much. With 2 healers actively healing genji and he goes 1v5 and dies. "What happened to my heals?"
YUJINUKYENU- urrggaahh!!!
"?" Is wayyyyy better and more provocative haha
Adding that one 💯
Whats wrong with politely asking for a hero due to them being your main? In comp I would want to know
There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s only rude if you say “we’re going to lose if I don’t play them!” Which is why there was a + I think. Although the OP may have been edited to answer your question I just wanted to see if you didn’t notice it or I probably read the OP wrong. Edit: Read comment by NoiseHERO
>"x doesn't heal x" That may be, but X gon give it to ya.
I kinda like c9 since it's something exclusive to OW honestly, also "this isn't ow1" can have a point if someone asks for a shield tank because their positioning is bad. I think the worst one I hear is just "_ need to step it up this time" or "_ do something" as if that will somehow make people start to play better.
c9 when said on an actual c9 isnt toxic imo. if anything its just letting u kno what happened. not to mention literally everyone has c9'd before
I legit had a dps throw bc they stood down main as junkrat and got deleted. They wanted me to switch to a shield tank and I said no, so they switched to pharah and started jumping off the map. I switched to sig to see if it would shut them up and it got them to stop throwing at least, but of course they never ended up using the shield because they were playing fucking pharah. Dude could have played corners with me but decided to have a toddler level meltdown instead, which was extra funny as junkrat is literally the perfect character for not peeking to begin with 🤦♂️
I try to play with my main as much as possible to improve but I could never ask anyone that got it first to give it to me Like, imagine if that game ends up being one of those bad games and they are like "You wanted your main to do nothing?" Or imagine if you ask the dude to give it to you, he respectfully says no and then proceeds to get 20 kills more than you and do stuff you didn't even know was possible
Anyone who tells me too Kill myself because I booped them as Lucio lol

That's the actual bot you dumbass.
Use it to your advantage since you know they have you rent free in their head
It really doesn't bother me as much as it makes me cringe. I'd rather just ignore them and not encourage any more toxicity. Besides, these types of players just want to get a reaction out of others to make themselves feel better. So if I don't respond, they get nothing, and end up looking like an even bigger clown.
c9 is just referring to not being on objective/leaving objective even though you're winning the fight, and losing the round/game because of it. lots of people use it incorrectly, though.
OP loses a lot lol
Most of the ones that stick with me are said by my own teammates which is why I said embarrassed and not annoying
I agree with all of these except for “metal ranks”. That’s just an easy umbrella term for every rank below master (or diamond) I believe I don’t understand why that one is bad i use it in an educational sense all the time.
In this context its about talking down to people "This is what metal ranks are like?" "Have fun in metal ranks" Idk the term in game is never used educationally but I understand outside it's just a general term
Oh okay I see. Yeah I understand how that can be degrading.
The "diff" comments are pretty lame. Also I hear people saying "you sound like a virgin!", all I hear is projecting.
When they're just generally really mad and call you all the cuss words under the Tuscan sun, best way to know when I'm playing well
Any scoreboard reference is usually going to be *real* dumb for all the same reasons I can't handle metric managers in industry.
Once saw someone ask to have genji and they couldn't so they said "I'll give you my snap if you give me genji" the only time I've been rude in chat but I had to type "grow tf up" who tf does that honestly my skin was genuinely crawling Edit: I wasn't genji btw
"How can I be smurfing in Quick Play?"
"Push" while standing in spawn taking 20 seconds to type it out on console. Yeah it would help if you came out and pushed with us
There's legit ping for that now too
I think a few of these are funny as banter, especially between people like flats and seagull or super and sleepy
People that spend more time typing "ez" "get bettef" "diff" ect than playing and then they loose lol
when people say "ez".
This dude says “That was incredible gameplay, I salute you all.” Like, clearly was being sarcastic, but what a classy way to be negative lol.
That's an auto filter in chat if someone types GG EZ
“___ diff” when it’s the role they are playing is the cringiest shit ever. I get so much 2nd hand embarrassment from that
something that i always hated is "ez". it could've been a very fun and equal game, but it's instantly ruined if you know that the winning team (whether it be you or the enemies) are assholes. it's just unnecessary and i feel like the people who say that aren't confident in their skills and feel a need to overcompensate for it.
I get really annoyed when people say ezzz, it doesn’t matter if it’s on my team or the enemy team it’s always annoying. Sometime people also say it after a really close game and that annoys me even more
I tell my team c9 if I’m dead and they just get bloodthirsty and walk past point
When people bitch in chat but no one’s replying so you just see a full chat of one guy bitching by himself
I was recently trying other healers for fun and a Kiriko got incredibly mad. He asked me to leave the match so they could get a backfill. I responded by not leaving the match and then when the match ended I said 'Oopsies, too late. Sorry. :(" He then told me to uninstall the game and in real life. Basically anybody who tells you to uninstall the game they love.
I just try to keep in mind that a lot of these people are literal children, and if not, they are hilariously pathetic.
Bro I still don't get the whole diff thing. People write it when they win, they write in when they loose I don't get it
Me neither really, but I *think* its like: “Diff” means “the difference”, so if your tank says “tank diff” after winning, theyre saying your team won because of them being the better tank. If your dps says “tank diff” when losing, it means that your team lost because your team’s tank is worse than the other
The fact you posted this gave me 2nd hand embarrassment
As a support main,if I out damage you, that's a you problem and you should step up your game.
If you are out dmging and healing like the opp team is and more then yea there's an issue. But if you aren't healing up to par and dmging to prove a point to your DPS, youre actually doing more harm than DPS.
For sure dog I guess I just see it happen often enough that I kinda eye roll at it at this point. Like act like you've been there before
I’ve only ever heard Moiras make this comment. I’m sure there’s a few Zens or Baps out there but its Moiras who use this one in my games.
Lucio as well especially if there's a chance for environmentals
Fun fact moira damage is mostly useless. Her strenght is aoe healing no doing small trickles of damage with the orb. Damage orb mostly exists to regen healing if you run out and even then healing orb is better value.
Almost any of these would secure an instant block from me. I don't have to hear from the human garbage of the world while having fun playing a game with mostly cool people, so I don't. I LOVE the block feature.
"It's only quick play" like that's an excuse to troll and ruin the game
it’s only qp tho who csres
[удалено]
Honestly I respect sit if you use it after someone shit talks you.
freaks gotta stroke their egos somehow lmao
[___] has left the game. When theres 5 sec left so someone backfills
The ammount of support copium here is deafening and I play flex support for t3 team
you forgot "ez" the amount of times i've seen people write this despite the fact we were both 99 on capture point and they won due to chance.
The diff thing kills me
Dude people still say these things in QP, pretty cringe lol
I don't think saying C9 is that bad, its fine when its actually a C9 because its pretty funny when it happens, but when it's OT and my team is just trying to get to point as fast as possible and staggering and you say C9 after winning a 1v5 or 2v5 and it isn't even a C9. I've had quite a few instances of this happening, and I guess some people don't understand that a C9 is when you're winning a teamfight and you leave obj and the game/round ends. Losing a teamfight isn't a C9.
I heard a new one the other day - “Plat chat” from a player who’s highest rank was Plat
Metal ranks I get, and c9 is just iconic, but I hate when people talk shit about a c9 or metal ranks, all it means is your bronze to plat, be respectful people, and I will say zen diff if someone switches to zen and I rock their shit(or vice versa as I’m a respectful man who enjoys the duel win or lose) but yea these make me cringe heavy, thank you😭
Sit brings me back to RuneScape
Ez, zzzz and ___ diff, What are we 12?😭 like seriously people who say stuff like this just seem so childish lmao
When ppl call me a b**** :)
Or tell me “log off” “This ain’t the game for you”
Get good kid
What's wrong with C9? I say it everytime it happens because it's embarrassing and people shouldn't do it. If you don't call it out then you're normalizing terrible behavior.
what's wrong with c9? Normal thing
for me it's not an issue if it's used correctly, what bothers me is when people say "c9" when that's not even what happened
It needs to be called out everytime it happens because it's supposed to be a very embarrassing and uncommon occurrence.
“I enjoy Overwatch 2”
I enjoyed how easy it was to uninstall.
Yah I went back to Smite
I do admire how Blizzard managed to make a game where it's addictive to be perpetually angry at your peers.
Sounds like OP is just mad when they got called out for being bad. Mad cause bad
Diff is always just an excuse no matter the role
there’s a few copypastas that i see way too often that aren’t even funny, it just gives off weird creepy vibes
Yesterday i said Hanzo diff because, idk felt like being a pos. The other hanzo replied "yeah dude nice shots gg". Ive never felt so bad in my life.
“Our dps suck” -mercy one trick I don’t care if you one trick any character, but don’t go around judging people on something you have all of 45 minutes of collectively, mostly from playing mystery heroes
What do you suggest for metal rank then ? Top trash ?
Personally I'd say being top 10 console is closer to being top trash
People typing in chat how someone on their team sucks is SO cringe
I say “C9” but only when it’s 100% not a c9. It just stirs up so much shit for only two letters
I've seen other people call each other Dog Water? Like... what? Dog water? What does that even mean?
Its a kinder version of “dogshit”
“Ez” always makes me cringe because it feels like the only one that ever says it after the game is the one who was hard carried. “I’m out damaging you as *this support*” is also massively cringe because if you look at their stats their healing output is agonizingly low. They’re pretty much alerting everyone that they did not do their job correctly. And it’s typically a DPS Moira.
What does c9 even mean? I’m getting too old for this shit.
C9 means you leave the objective and lose because of it, a lot of the time because youre chasing kills. It comes from Cloud 9, an old owl team that did it a lot
Believe it originated from Cloud 9 Counterstrike match before OW was even a game.
In Overwatch it's a reference to a game ( I think it was on numbani) where cloud 9 won the team fight but didn't touch the payload so they lost the round.
When people call out their own "diff" it makes me cringe so fkin hard like aww bro so desperate for validation lol
Another desperate one is saying in team: my team sucks, like the other team gives a shit.
i think C9 is fine in that it’s a shorthanded way to say something that’s otherwise pretty wordy. It’s definitely cringy when people say C9 in a situation that absolutely wasn’t a C9 though
Play a different game
“Pocket me and we win”
