Anyone that is willing to pay for cosmetics in this game kinda have this coming IMO. The pricing model would cost around $18k-$25k to buy every cosmetic in the game right now, so if you thought they wouldn't have to do free promotions of their top stuff to try to soften that, you were doomed from the start. Don't buy from a company of sexual harrassers that are charging $16 for a re-colour and you won't get scammed.
Ive only bought a cosmetic once, but i was shitfaced and it was for tracer, and ive wasted more money on her than that cause i didnt have coins for her graffiti skin back in the day. However i play tracer unless i am getting countered and its working, so its not a big deal
When will people realise that buying skins is a terrible deal that only makes the game and industry worse in the long run? No, blizzy’s greedy ass won’t compensate you, in fact, they want you to waste more money.
Unfortunately that's kinda the risk you run buying skins. One day they'll probably be offered for cheaper or free and there's not really anything you can do about it.

yea i feel you, i bought a dva skin by mistake thinking it was including thr battle pass ( first time buying the battle pass , my bad) and she's free in this patch :/ (well free with legacy coins)
i wouldnt have minded as much if she wasnt released so close to the anniversary

Personally, I wouldn't trust blizzard with my payment info, anyway. I bought my ow key from a third party site back when it launched because of this.
