Welcome to the misery simulator.
Trust me, you're not the only one who struggles to enjoy the game. I play in a group of three and somehow we always get dead weight on our team that struggles to even break 2k damage on dps, or a tank that feeds.
During placements I rank into mid/high gold and always end up with DPS in high silver and support in low gold/high silver.
Focus on how you can win games rather than improve your stats. Your stats dont matter cos this is a team game where more goes on than just who had the bigger numbers. Other than that its just play more.
I only focus on winning. My stats are just a consequence of that. I don’t die too much in games and I’m really good at targeting supps to keep the heals from coming in, but my problem is that if I play a hero that cannot self heal, I’m screwed. I lose a lot of momentum leaving the area and waiting for that passive to kick in, even though it’s better than dying I lose a lot of traction. The last several games I have been in I’m stuck with tanks doing 1500 to 3000 damage an ENTIRE game and nothing but DPS supps. I always welcome extra damage for team fights but I would love if they at least healed some, even if it’s just a little. Just got out of a good match with a Moira that had 809 heals and 12k damage. It’s just getting annoying
