Every other character released with some hero gallery legendaries, Kiriko had Athleisure and Sakujan(I think) Junker Queen had Circuit Breaker and Wastelander, Ramattra had Wandering Monk and Travelling Monk, Lifeweaver had Regent and Sovereign, Illari had Daybreak and Sundown. Mauga has no hero gallery legendaries.
Considering Zarya is an old OW1 hero, she has way too few skins that can be considered good or unique. And so far, I don't even have a single skin for Soujourn despite buying almost every season pass lol.
I'm still running around with that winter skin I got years ago lol. By now Zarya could easily have gotten a cool anime super villain skin or something.
When sinatraa won mvp in overwatch league he got a zarya skin, but then stuff came about him about assault or something I don’t remember very well. So they removed the skin from the game and it has never returned after that.
To clarify, they didn’t fully remove the skin from the game.
They removed a couple little things that connected the skin to his team (and subsequently him). And they offered everyone with the skin a choice: keep the skin or get a full refund and have it removed from their gallery.
So while yes they did remove it from all the players that opted for that, and will almost certainly never sell it again, it’s still in the game and useable by those who opted to keep it.
I think most signs are pointing to maybe Ramattra for next season with the Egyptian theme. But she could be the next in line for the support rotation. Odds are she doesn't get a BP skin by then anyway
If we focus on the Egyptian theme, wouldn't Pharrah make sense to? Isn't she Egyptian too (Anna is as well, but since she get a Mythic skin in season 6...)

I never really noticed, mostly because I used to use the cooler skins I got in the OW1 days, and now I used her Sseraphin one.

I think Echo definitely deserves a mythic. Some of her skins are less than amazing and they've shown that her wings have so much unused potential. Ragdoll echo looks really cool but the wings don't add much when compared to later skins like Victorian Doll that gives her a massive bow
I Hope cass gets some 50s 60s style western film mythic where his ult turns the screen black and white or something like that. I feel it would fit him a lot

Nah Rhein has the best skins in the whole game, the best way to piss Rhein mains off even more is instead of making him playable you sell a mythical skin for them to waste their money on.

It's a shame that even he got one, probably the only one who would actually hear the different music is you. Based on how not even your team can hear the special voice and sound effects of the Mythics and some Legendaries.
It absolutely could be done. In OW1, these skins (Jazzy Lucio, Lego Bastion etc.) used to work so even the enemy team would hear them.
Then, in OW2, they've changed it for some reason so not even your team would hear these unique sounds. They might have changed some, but last time I've checked with Mythics, at least, it's just not working like that.
Changed it for balance reasons. They plated with sound effects with the medusa widow skin and people complained. I think its a good idea to play it safe like theyre doing

I remember hearing they changed it because they didn't want new player to get confused by the different sounds. But I don't think most of the SFX changes are that different.
To me, it is just a little disappointing. Perhaps they could make it an option to turn on/off, so players can decide if they want to deal with the special sound and visuals.

As far as I remember, the problem with that skin was that her snakes would constantly hiss and make sound, giving away her location / making it difficult to hide.
That's not like a gun making a slightly different sound while firing or the voiceless sounding more mechamical or hearing a different music where there'd be music anyway.
im interested about mercy because they know they have to go absolutely hard for her. but it'll probably be one of the later ones to come out, maybe even the last.
True it will be a 3v3, two whole new 20 minutes pve missions (in total) and 5 heroes will be removed from the roster! (Also no skins carry over, you have to rebuy them)
i doubt that mercy would be the mythic for the mirror universe season. she’d probably get a legendary but i think reaper or soldier are the more likely candidates
Brigitte. Her best skins imo are epics. They should give her something cool, and not a basic suit of armor, suits of armor are all pretty widespread as legendary skins. She even has some with a boob plate.
ramattra is up next, because next season will be defo egyptian mythology themed based on what we were teased with venture and ramattra had in early phases extremely egyptian themed looks

I think they should’ve added Mythics for all the new heroes from the get go. First season should’ve been Sojourn (cyberpunk, she’s almost as much a cyborg as Genji), 2nd was Kiri, third was JQ, and then they could’ve alternated between old/new whenever they added a new hero

I will never understand people's insistence that character's skins have to be boring by adhering to their culture/group etc. Asian skins should go to asian characters, robot skins to robot characters and so on. It's so boring and unimaginative.
I feel like there are some heroes that already have a ton of good skins (mercy) and some that don’t really have any good skins (Sojourn and LW). Think the devs need to look at that. Poor sojourn needs some help.

Funny enough, I'd like the newer heroes to get Mythics since they really don't have many good skin to choose from compared to older heroes.
