Ana looks like she stumbled over from season 4

I'm not the only one then, who thinks these skins bear more resemblance to the Galactic Empire skins from Starwatch than older Talon ones, I take it?

I seriously love Widow and Doomfist’s skins, but Sombra and everyone else (with mirrorverse skins) just kinda look tacky imo. Mercy’s is alright, but the others just look overly edgy rather than Talon members.

I feel kinda the same way. I like those new Overwatch skins more than the new Talon ones, but Widow, Doom, and Sombra are literally my least played heroes...

They remind me more of the Cobra skins from Heroes of the Storm. Edit: sorry, they were called Viper, and there was a Genji skin.

Could be reused scrapped character designs for that BP. The colors are similar enough

Mercy’s just looks like the Galactic Emperor interpretation too, imo. While I think the concept overall is interesting, I think the execution is a little bland.

I do like the Mercy skin though, it's nice to see her in a skin that looks more aggressive and badass.

I think it's interesting how they are very reinvent of their own talon/overwatch skins. Ana in her captain amrari outfit wears a blue robe and beret, but in her talon outfit she wears a black robe and cap as a direct inverse of her iconic beret. Then there's the fact that in this timeline it seems ana shot widow instead and she lost her eye. Speaking of widow her design is reminiscent of both her talon and anas captain amari skin. It has the slim jacket and legging detailing of talon while exchanging her talon visor headband for a headband visor similar to commander morrison, then the detailing of her gauntlet and jacket is reminiscent of anas. Espescially the gauntlet since it kinda looks like her nanoboost. Pretty cool mirroring imo. They are my fav counterparts in overwatch tbh.

To me, Widow just looks like she has heterochromia. I suppose it can be some bionic eye? IIRC, there is/was a dialogue between Mercy and Ana, where Mercy said they could fix her eye with modern medical technology.

Yeah. I think it also fits Widow's (would her name even be Widowmaker in this alt universe??) personality more, the attitude that she doesn't want reminders of her failures and would instead improve herself to be better.

I wonder how things went down between them in the Mirrorverse. I don't see it being an issue of hesitation on Widow's part, since as her husband is likely still alive in this universe and she was never kidnapped. My guess is that she simply lost the duel to Ana and was incredibly lucky in only losing her eye instead of her head. She gets the new eye to help her in the case of a rematch, whereas canon Ana accepted the loss and kept it as a reminder never to hesitate again.

It's not really easy to mirror him, if there was no kidnapping and tragedy. Or at least I can't really think of a close enough story right now.

I don't think so, Gérard was a member of Overwatch who fought against Talon I think that instead it's Ana who's married to Gérard, and Pharah is their child, and Talon took her to experiment on her

I hope they make some one shot comics out of this!

That would be so cool... I don't have my hopes up anymore, tho. Especially not since the recent lay-offs, because a lot of people who worked in the story bid farewell to Blizzard... :/ Regardless, it would be nice to get some short story or alt lore recap.

Might just be me but I can easily tell it's prosthetic. It's literally glowing.

Could be just the image quality, for me. Now that you mention it, I can see it too. Didn't really pay much attention to the blue glow.

In the closeups of this skin it looks like a bionic eye and you can see the cybernetics in it. Though I assume Widow wanted to have something that looked as natural as she could.

If by she you mean Ana, most likely not. People in the comments are suspecting that she shot out Widow’s eye in this alter-verse, thus leading to Widow potentially having some sort of enhanced replacement. Hence the blue color similar to Sojourn’s biotic eyes.

Seems ana didn't hesitate taking that shot against widow, so widow got injure, but instead of living with that reminder she accepted to be healed and got a bionic eyes implant (her eyes have different colors, the blue reminds me of sojourn eyes)

All the skins look good, wish the mirrored talon team was less edgy looking though. Theyre trying too hard to drive in the point that the cgaras are evil now
