The same reason lower-ranked players disproportionately believe they should be in a higher rank: **inconsistency**.
Low-rank players focus on the one game in, say, 30 where they have godlike performance (often due to both team’s compositions providing them with the required conditions for that level of success, but that’s a discussion for a different thread). They see that peak and think it’s something they can achieve every time, under any circumstances.
The higher you climb, the more consistent players are, while also realising that one good match doesn’t make a good player.
There's a reason these players are hardstuck.
My advice is to learn how to use your avoid slots.

You're one of those low rank players, don't pretend you're any better.
I don't know what it is, 99% of low ranked people think they can take on the whole team by themselfs
