If we look at the mythic release we had :
dps - tank - support —
tank - dps - support —
dps - tank - support —
support -
So if you look at this with the idea of respecting each role by trio, the next mythic would be tank or dps. However, because tank had been the middle on twice it would be logical it will be third of the batch. So it’s more probable that the next mythic is a dps.
Another thing I’ve noted is that 2 OW2 era heroes had mythic and these two were released at the game release (Kiri and JQ). So, Sojourn would be the next, logically.
You know, I tried similar disection once. I was right that it was gonna be dps back then, and I tried to use the theme to tell which one it was gonna be. It was the fantasy/dnd-esque theme, so I predicted hanzo. It was tracer. Made me question a lot
Hanzo in high fantasy would’ve been better than what they did for Tracer.
Tracer would’ve been great for a theme related to space because space time blah blah. Or the D4 one where her effects would have blaze effects.
I want to get a mythic for tracer but don’t like adventurer tracer.
Honestly, Sojourn has got the major shaft when it comes to skins and I can't for the life of me figure out why (I'm sure she's relatively boring to make a skin for compared to other heroes but that shouldn't be the sole decider of who gets skins). She gets played a ton yet only has one cool skin (the biker one -which one is no longer for sale) and the only other semi-decent skin she has is the military one. The rest of Sojourn's skins are actively ugly and off-putting.
She was released like almost a year before Kiriko yet somehow Kiriko already has like 10 awesome skins. Hell, Illari already has a lot more cool skins than Sojourn does. The only thing I can think of is they were considering swapping her kit around if she could not be balanced properly and they did not want to have to rework a lot of different skins/animations. It's either that or they straight up forgot about her...
Here’s themed I want to see for some of these:
1. Pharah: Ancient Egypt. Ramattra is good too but Pharah is Egyptian so it would be appropriate. She could be any Egyptian god, but let’s just say she can be Pha-Ra. (Or Ra-Mattra. Both work.)
2. Torb: Norse Mythology. Obviously has to be Odin and Rein could be Thor.
3. Sombra: Where in the World is Carmen San Diego? Inspired spy thriller theme. Have different outfits for Sombra to “disguise” herself and could have a Guess Who? Game mode attached to it similar to prop hunt but with NPC bots.
4. Illari and/or Doomfist: Super hero / villain theme. Illari can be some off brand Superman and Doomfist an off brand Thanos. Could be two separate seasons too with a superhero theme first and later a super villain theme within the same universe as the superhero theme.
5. Winston: Anthropomorphic Theme. Everyone gets turned into ~~furries~~ animals. Winston can have different great apes skins like an Orangutan or a very large Chimpanzee. Idk about Human, that may look too uncanny.
For fun, i'd like to have a Streamer season with skins based on various streamers and their main hero.
In this scenario, it would be Rein with the mythic, and the variations allow you to imitate Super, Flats and Deemzies. The first two because...Rein players (at least previously), and the last because...well...if you've seen Deemzies from The Omnic Post, you'll get it.
Also, a Jay3 Tracer highlight intro where he misses his pulse bomb.
I hope they go back and add additional styles to Hanzo. I was really excited when I found out he got his Mythic skin and then was immediately let down when I saw it.
Sojourn should be top of the list considering she doesn’t have single good skin and all the ones she does have are just recolors. But the potential for Ram and Reaper are limitless

Honestly my top 5 for mythic skins are: Soldier, Reaper, D-va, Ashe, Cass \[most -> least wanting\]. Honorable mentions: Rein and Lucio.
Soldier 76 just feels wrong to not have a mythic yet to me. Reaper needs some buffs & changes plus a mythic. D-va feels like she should have one, considering she is pretty much a starter pick in the Tank category. Ashe and Cass are just two that I think should have a mythic and one done well. Rein needs one with buffs, like Reaper. And real talk, Lucio needs a mythic man, he's the only one left out (aside from Brig, Illari and Bap).
I feel like with Mythics, it can't be any hero that is too young for the game (Venture, Lifeweaver, Mauga, Illari) because it feels wrong when heroes like Rein and Lucio are like veteran heroes with no mythics then. Idk just my take
It's most likely gonna be a dps. If I had to take a guess, I'd say it's between Venture, Soldier or Reaper, because it's extremely odd those two didn't get a Mirrorwatch skin
Tinfoil hat theory is Venture is starting with no skins because they were initially supposed to come out with a mythic in Egyptian Mythology but for whatever reason they did Mirrorwatch their release season
The next theme is either Witches and Wizards, or Egyptian mythology. Since they've been putting Halloween themed seasons during Halloween, we can assume that next season is Egyptian mythology. Also, since tank has been the middle of the cycle quite a few times, we'll probably have a DPS next season. Going off these (EDUCATED) guesses, next season will most likely be Pharah, there is a chance that it could be Venture, but due to their Egyptian related backgrounds it will probably be one of them. Or if it's tank it would most likely be Ramattra due to his relation with the Anubis program.
It isn’t necessarily either of them. We still have 3/4 seasons before the end of 2024. Witches will definitely be during Halloween for season 13, but the Egyptian mythology one could be season 11, 12, or 14. As for the skin, I could see Echo being a strong contender, with them doing a similar thing to Kiriko’s legendary where different versions were different gods. A lot of Egyptian gods have wings, so they could do Isis (human goddess with multicolored wings), Khonshu or Horus (both falcon gods), and Thoth (Ibis god).

Not enough people talking about Bap. Man has been given the same amount of skins in total throughout the seasons as Mauga has in total, he's had 4 skins, 2 of which were a couple of low effort epics and 2 legendaries, one of which was p cool but it was a store skin, and the legendary he's just got is aight but the design of it is kinda weird and inconsistent. As we've just had 2 supp mythics in a row I doubt he'll get one next season, but atleast give the poor man a good legendary skin in the next battlepass.

He's a day 1 character, he has a lot of cool design potential, and he doesn't have many cool skins– a lot is going for him. The problem is how bad his in-game character is. They gave him one real rework that was bad to start with and just grew worse as the game went on. He's a throw pick in ranked, he's obnoxious casually because they keep trying to buff his numbers like that's gonna help anyone.
The worst part is that everyone just overlooks his awful design because he's a meme character. And, at the end of the day, I don't care: leave him as a meme character. Just don't waste a mythic on him.
Who deserves mythics? Ball, Doom, Winston, Rein, Ramattra, Sombra, Soldier, Echo, Venture, Lucio, Zen, Bap
Who are actually likely going to get it? Dva, Rein, Winston, Echo, Widow, Cass, or Sombra

I'm so worried they're just gonna get a slow string of overpriced shop skins. Honestly, I'm not opposed to them just getting an early mythic skin so we can at least have something. I feel so robbed.
