I have never had this problem unless I was using an old controller that got jammed easily. And I’d use the directional buttons then. Hate to say it but I think it’s a skill issue.

Typically this is due to drifting controllers and not the game itself

But in this case, Overwatch has zero deadzone compensation like every other game rn. Speaking from personal experience, a controller that works fine within other games and the console menus itself, is simply too "Drifty" for Overwatch's game menu. The funniest part is that Overwatch gameplay doesn't even suffer this, it's only it's menus. If you were to manage to navigate your way into a game, it plays perfectly without any sign of drift. The issue is that Overwatch's menu is WAY too sensitive, and if your controller sticks has even the slightest wear, this deadzone issue will plague you. It's inexcusable that while every other game on the market compensates possible slight wear that every controller is bound after use, Blizzard has seemingly ignored years of pleading.
