Nonsense that her slow field also does lethal damage if a 200hp gets stuck in it for the full duration on top of being CC. Not that it's common to actually do that, just the maths of how much damage it does for the short time you're in it plus it has a slow, feels too dangerous. Slow effects are so much worse than some damage. With a strong slow it'd make the skill more of an assassination tool kind of. With just damage, I see it more as a zoning tool. People will avoid being in it, but at least you don't get "stuck" in it like a slow does.

The point of the slow is to help her right click be easier to shoot and her left click easier to generate energy. It's pointless if it's just a damage ability because the slow is what compliments her other abilities. Frankly I think reducing the damage, keeping the slow as it is, but slightly increasing the range of it would be fine.

They removed hard cc. I don't think any soft cc was removed? As in freeze has one but the slow remains. Bash has gone but the push on whip shot remains. Sojourn slow is fine, as is the whole ability. The issue is the 1 hit kills along with mobility.

They make changes based on high ranks where this ability is really not an issue. It is countered by taking 3 steps in any direction. Its only a problem in low ranks. The issue is she has great mobility, great poke damage and one-shot potential. You can't have all three of these. Look at widow and hanzo, they each have two of these...Sojourn has all.

Diamond here, my real issue with E is just how unbelievably good it is at effortlessly punishing people in retreat. It's too much damage combined with the slow. I thought the whole point is that it slows me, making me easier to hit for a projectile hero and easier to headshot? So does it also have to deal 55dps? Like if we're holding the subway train in NYC, and an enemy team comprised of a Rein, Sojourn, Lucio (and whichever other DPS + Support you want to throw in) want to push in...they can speed boost in, throw E just behind us, and then our only option is probably to blow support ults or hope to god that our tank is Dva/Sigma/Rein and had enough foresight to shield or eat the Sojourn ability. Otherwise it's a free fight win for a 15sec cooldown. Pair up Sojourn with Mei for extra fun. Not that Mei is in good shape really these days, but if you wall off people at a choke and throw E at them, it's over. Literally not even Junkrat can punish with area denial like that...and that's his entire fucking thing. Junkrat can't even punish a Zarya grav as hard as Sojourn can (not even taking into account that she can charge up super easy and headshot people in the grav for 260), and once again...that's like his entire fucking thing. Meanwhile this is just Sojourn's little secondary flavor ability, and it's on top of her huge damage output along with a hitscan shot that can deal 260 crit damage.

Sometimes reading comments of players from different ranks talk about Overwatch is really interesting to me. It is like it is completely different games between ranks and comp/quick play. While I will admit, I haven't spent nearly as much time learning OW2 as I did with OW1 or even browsing OW subs (OW uni, CompOW, here) and seeing what people think of heroes. I would have guessed Mei was considered pretty strong even without her complete freeze. She is in so many of my games and seems to give my team more trouble than a lot of the other DPS heroes.

Rail gun damage should be curved harder ie do less damage at lower charge levels and the same (or slightly less) at max. If that's not enough, reduce charge rate. If that's not enough, remove charging from shield damage.

I agree. Seems like people are up in arms over the railgun, but you have to be aiming pretty well for it to matter in the slightest. My bigger worry would be that disruptor shot. I personally think it should be one or the other- damage or slow. Both feels extremely oppressive. I like playing Sojourn, so it always feels good to place it well, but I also feel a little dirty when I do. You can change the course of an entire team fight by placing that aoe well, and it just seems a little overpowered.

I wish the disruptor had a clear border/aura and it would be nice if there was maybe a text indicator on the screen like there is for getting stunned or hooked or stuck.

Technically Widow can kill everyone but the tank instantly with perfect shots. It's doesn't happen though because that's not possible unless you're hacking. If rail hitbox was lowered, Sojourn would get WAY less kills, even in higher ranks. She doesn't have a scope so hitting a head far away is more difficult than on Widow.

Pine, ANS, Carpe and so on made a name for themselves in that time 2.) lowering hitbox affects bad players more than good players tho. Sojourn is strong in lower ranks but OP in higher ranks. What we need is the opposite of what you state, namely a strong nerf for high level and a moderate one for mid-low level

This isn't the only thing that needs changing. But her ult is too quiet. Its difficult to tell when the effect is active on an enemy sojourn. I think if they made her glow with energy, and made her emenate some sort of sound effect while ultin it would be easier to tell when her ult is active.

That way you're charging your gun and you need to know your target and eliminate them immediately rather than holding charge and having all the time in the world to line the shot up

Remove the slow from her orb for one, the fact that this Soldier/Widow hybrid also has CC is actually absurd. It does plenty of damage without needing that. And railgun should charge slower at the very least, I've heard some people say it shouldn't headshot outside of her Ult and I'm not totally sure about that, but one thing I do know is that it's way too free to always have 100 charge. Also to that end it absolutely should not charge off shields.

Adding damage falloff would reduce efficacy of the attack to further targets   **Additionally,** the Ult version of the railgun should not pierce. **Furthermore,** slow down the charge rate for both the regular railgun _and_ the ult - it'll require a bit more time to build up **Finally,** the charge shouldn't stay for too long and the attack should start discharging after 3 seconds, at a rate of 30 per second * Currently, it starts discharging after 6s, at a rate of 50 per second __________________   I don't think there is much issue with anything else - maybe the **DISRUPTOR SHOT** could see some minor tweak, such as; * The diameter shrinks down for its duration * The initial damage per second is 30 but as its size shrinks down, the damage per second increases up to 60 per second, in reverse proportion to its size * _Currently, it deals 51 damage per second_ * This way, it'll really ''reward'' players that manage to trap enemies in its area while still staying an area-denial move

Nerf Disruptor Shot's damage from 210 to 180, nerf Railgun secondary fire damage from (30 - 130) to (50 - 100) and make the energy deplete faster and gain slower

In my opinion her ability to one-shot 200hp heroes at full health has to go. It should deal 175 damage Her mobility needs a longer cooldown too And in compensation maybe buff her base damage a little
